Part 3 ~ Death Wish

Tracy stretched both arms above her head when she noticed Jason and Liz leaving the house. For a minute there, she thought they were going to skip Carly's dinner party. They were over an hour late. Tracy chuckled as she thought about the panic that Carly was going through. She had no love for Carly, but she did have to admire her level of vindictiveness. If only Carly and AJ had married. Tracy cringed at the loss of teamwork that Carly would have brought. Carly together with Tracy would have brought ELQ to new heights.  But it didn't matter now, Tracy thought. Carly would be collateral damage just like the rest of them.

She watched Jason's car turn the corner. After waiting thirty minutes, she unfolded herself from her Mercedes.  Walking swiftly to Liz's front door, she spoke frantically to Milo.

"You need to help me. My car has a flat and I need a mechanic."  She leaned on Milo slightly.

Confused, Milo tried to lend Tracy support. "Ms. Quartermaine, what are you doing here?"

"I was on my way to Jason's party and I got a flat tire. Is he here?"

"Umm, no. He just left."

"Oh no…. I hate to miss his party. I wanted him to know that the Quartermaines support his marriage." Tilting her head toward the ground, Tracy did her best Meryl Streep impression "He'll never forgive me for missing his party."

"Do you have a spare?" Milo asked on queue.

Tracy nodded quickly.

"I'll change the flat; you wait in the house," Milo said as he opened the door. Like a snake, Tracy slithered inside. She waited until Milo moved towards her car before eying Liz's house carefully. A mother with two small boys would keep her prescriptions upstairs in her private bathroom. Tracy headed towards Liz's bedroom smiling at herself as she opened her bathroom medicine cabinet. She scanned it until she found Liz's body cream. Pulling it off the shelf, she opened it carefully. But before she could add her own special ingredient, she heard the sound of a gun being cocked. Slowly she lifted her eyes into the medicine cabinet mirror. A pair of hardened caramel eyes stared back.

"Tell me," English's bronze lips broke into a wicked grin. "Do you wish to die now or later?"
