"Accidental Autumn"
Part 9 ~ Town Folks

Within 6 hours, the news of Georgie's resurrection spread like wildfire. The hospital security staff was struggling to keep the reporters at bay. Even with the reports restricted to the lobby, it still seemed as if the entire town had flooded the hospital halls.  

Edward and Monica, desperate for any news about Emily, were placed in a private waiting room to avoid curious eyes. Epiphany had secured a large conference room to house the Scorpio and Drake family. The conference room contained a private bath and enough food to feed the family for several hours. Robin and Patrick, both in doctor mode, divided their time between setting up an examination room for Nikolas, Lainey, Spinelli, Jason and especially Georgie and spending time with Mac.  

Although Alexis focused on supporting Mac, she was still concerned for Nikolas' welfare and state of mind and was eager to see him with her own eyes. Carly, who couldn't get answers fast enough, dispatched Jax to the hospital for the latest news. Maxie, who couldn't get a flight out of London until the next day, begged Lulu to hang around the hospital and send her any urgent news by text.

Liz decided to take on an extra shift, if only to ensure that the families were getting a regular update. She figured this was the best use of her time and would allow her to sit with each family, at least for a few minutes.

Lainey had persuaded the hospital to refrain from sending an ambulance to the airport. Instead, they would calmly bring Georgie to the hospital by limo.

"They're here," Epiphany announced. "They just pulled into the Trauma Center. Security will be bringing them up in the freight elevator to avoid reporters." Epiphany looked around at the doctors and nurses. "Remember they have all been through a traumatic experience. Please treat them with kindness, empathy, and professionalism. Dr. Scorpio, can you please let Georgie's family know that she has arrived? Liz, please deliver the same message to the Quartermaines and Alexis Davis."

Within seconds the hallway was filled with members from the town holding their hope in their heart.
