"Accidental Autumn"
Part 11 ~ Instructions

"Well, the doctors have completed her physical. The results of her blood test will be complete by the morning."

"How is she?" Ian asked.

"She's fine. At least she appears to be. The problem is," the voice continued, "Everyone else seems fine, too. It won't be long before Mac starts a police investigation and Jason and Nikolas are back in Europe looking for Emily."

"No problem," Ian assured his boss. "I can have everyone on the next flight to South America in a few days. I just need a little time."

"Sorry, but that's one thing I can't give you. It's time to let our birds fly out of the nest. Send our top recruits to South America for their final conditioning. In the meantime, you lure Nikolas and Jason around Europe for a few weeks and then give them what they want. I'm going to fax you a picture of Nikolas." The voice continued, "We can use Georgie's circumstances to our advantage. Make sure that Emily remembers Nikolas' face. No one will be the wiser. I'll try to find out the exact date that they will be going back to Europe. That should give you a head start and please," the voice turned menacing, "Do not disappoint me."

Without answering, Ian hung up the phone. He needed more time. He wasn't prepared to release her yet. He chewed lightly on his bottom lip. If he was going to let her go, he had a lot of work to do. His phone beeped with the confirmation of Nikolas' picture. He glanced down at Nikolas' strong features. He should have killed Nikolas when he had the chance, Ian thought. He chuckled to himself. What better way to kill Nikolas than to have Emily take his life. Yes, Ian thought, after Emily finishes her first assignment, she can kill Nikolas as an encore.
