ABC Family's "The Lying Game," starring Alexandra Chando (ex-Maddie, ATWT)
and featuring Blair Redford (ex-Miguel, Passions; ex-Scott, Y&R) and Tyler
Christopher (ex-Nikolas, GH), has been picked up for a second season. Filming
will begin this summer for a winter premiere.
Grayson McCouch (ex-Dusty, ATWT) has been cast as Dr. Don Masters in the
teen-oriented Nick At Night series "Hollywood Heights" executive produced by
Jill Farren Phelps and starring Brittany Underwood (ex-Langston, OLTL) and James
Franco (ex-Franco, GH). The first of its kind modeled on the Spanish-language
telenovelas, the series is set for a June premiere.
On Thursday, May 24, Sean Kanan (ex-A.J.) takes Deacon back to B&B, where he
played the smarmy guy from 2000-'05.
"The
Wife He Met Online," with Cameron Mathison (ex-Ryan, AMC) and
Sydney Penny (ex-Dr. Liv Norman, Days; ex-Julia, AMC; ex-Samantha, B&B),
premiered on Lifetime on Saturday, April 21. Also appearing in the movie are Barbara Niven
(ex-Liz, OLTL) and Cynthia Preston (ex-Faith, GH).
James Franco (ex-Franco) joins the cast of "Hollywood Heights," the
new Nick-at-Nite series that follows Loren, a teenage girl played by
Brittany Underwood (ex-Langston, OLTL), whose life changes when she becomes
a star and wins the love of her teen idol, Eddie (played by Cody Longo,
ex-Nicholas, Days). Emmy-winner Jill Farren Phelps, who recently left GH, is executive producer.
Franco will also be soon returning to GH as well.
Also, he will screen his behind the scenes look at GH
called "Francophrenia" during the Tribeca Film Festival, scheduled for April
