Smith (Nora, OLTL), Gina Tognoni (ex-Dinah, GL; ex-Kelly, OLTL) and Daniel Cosgrove (ex-Bill, GL; ex-Scott, AMC) have also joined the cast. Go to http://www.venicetheseries.com/ for more information.
David Chisum (ex-Miles) stars in a series of commercials and "Desperate Housewives"! ABC has recruited Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry to produce a series of eight commercials for Sprint that will unfold as a weekly soap opera in order to pause the fast-forward phenomenon. The 35-second spots will air once a week during Housewives beginning on Sept. 27. "It's very Desperate Housewives," adds exec producer Sabrina Wind. "It was shot on our set, with our crew, and written by our writers." None of the show's regulars will appear in the ads, but Cherry has found a way to connect the marketing experiment with the ABC hit. Soap stars Rebecca Staab and David Chisum - who play the couple at the center of what Cherry calls the "murderous love triangle" - will cross over to Housewives "as background extras."
Brandon Routh (ex-Seth) is joining NBC's "Chuck" as Daniel Shaw beginning with the season's fourth episode. The show is scheduled to return in March. Brandon just finished filming "Unthinkable" starring Samuel L. Jackson, which will be released in winter of 2010.

Reiko Aylesworth (ex-Rebecca) stars in the new ABC series, "The Forgotten" this Fall! Click here for more info.
In New York City, producers Mark Dobies (ex-Daniel) and Toni D´Antonio filmed a brilliantly-written comedy named "my :) face" by Nick Ferroni and directed by Matt Walton, which brings the search for love to a higher level while replacing the need for singles bars, blind dates and the embarrassment of on the spot rejection.
