As the World Turns: Set in the closely-knit community of Oakdale,
IL, AS THE WORLD TURNS centers on the complex lives of the Hughes,
Montgomery, Ryan, Snyder, Stewart and Walsh families. The show celebrated
its 52nd Anniversary in April 2008.
Henry Coleman, with the help of Alina Adams, has written the novel, "The
Man From Oakdale," in which Lucinda Walsh hires him to investigate the
disappearance of Lucy and Johnny. From the sun-drenched South American
Republic of Montega to a nobleman's dangerous lair in Sweden, Henry and the
gorgeous Vienna Hyatt discover that the tentacles of Lucy Montgomery's life
on the run reach far and wide, even to the United Nations in Manhattan. With
help from Margo and Tom Hughes, Sierra Esteban, and Gwen and Will Munson,
and challenged by the tensions in their own romantic relationship, they
confront enemies both seen and unseen who are locked in a power struggle
with Lucy and Johnny at its center. But when Vienna herself disappears,
Henry must race against the clock to complete his mission so they can both
make it back to Oakdale alive. In real life, Ms. Adams is the Creative
Content Producer for both "Guiding Light" and "As The World Turns" who also
wrote "Jonathan's Story" for GL and Katie Peretti's tell-all "Oakdale
Confidential." "The Man From Oakdale" will be released on January 6, 2009,
but you can pre-order the hardcover novel now at
Amazon.com where you can also read
Henry Coleman's Amazon Blog. If you just can't
