Soap Opera Spirit Awards — Who will win? Who will lose?
On Tuesday, March 9, Michael Fairman presents the
On-Air On-Soaps podcast presentation of TV Guide Canada’s Third Annual
Soap Opera Spirit Awards, which will be co-hosted by Days/Venice stars
Crystal Chappell and Galen Gering. It will air at 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET. Only
21 categories will be announced on air. All of the winners will be posted on

for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Williams joins "Battlestar Galactica/The Cleaner"
star, and fellow Canuck, Grace Park on the series. Lisa Canning (ex-Adrienne, Y&R) plays
a news anchor named Chanel on B&B.Vail Bloom (Heather) stars in "Angel of Death" with Zoe Bell and Lucy

Gravity," a series about eight astronauts on a six-year mission across the

Eva Longoria Parker (ex-Isabella) stars in the hit show "Desperate
Housewives" on Sundays at 9 pm ET on ABC. She also starred in the 2006 movie "Harsh Times" with
Christian Bale and in 2009's "Foodfight!" with Charlie Sheen. Eva is
presently filming "Days of Grace" in Mexico City.
J. Eddie Peck (ex-Jake, AMC; ex-Cole, Y&R; ex-Hawk, Days) appeared on "Kyle XY" on ABC Family in 2008. He is
now filming "Bram Stoker's Vampire Diaries Renfield" in which he plays
the hero Detective Paul Cranston. His own son, Austin Colt, debuts as the
villainous Quincy Harker, the son of Dracula.
Penn Badgley (ex-Phillip) stars in "Gossip Girl" on the CW.
