SOD 5/13

Greenlee gets her prayers answered on 5/12.  On 5/13, Ryan suffers a fall and gets flooded with memories of Annie, while Babe confronts Ritchie.

The show received a “Thumbs Up” for Adam’s current “haunting” story.

What Will Happen- Babe figures out that she was wrong about JR.  Opal does something to bring Erica home.  Ritchie has the upper hand with Annie.

Appearances:  Walt Willey (Jack) will make a comedy appearance on 5/18 at 6pm and 8:30pm at The Hook Comedy Club in Marco Island, FL.

SOW 5/13

Rumors are flying that Beth Ehlers (Harley, GL) will be moving to AMC to reunite with Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake; ex-Gus, GL).

Sydney Penny (Julia) is leaving the show since they plan to reveal that Kathy is actually Kate (Tad and Dixie’s missing daughter).

Ne-Yo will be appearing to perform at Angie and Jesse’s wedding, which is set to air on May 21 and 22. 

Babe busts Ritchie when she sees him with Treena, the prostitute that she found JR with.  Ritchie claims that he ran into Treena in the park and she was trying to pick him up, but Babe doesn’t believe his story.  Babe goes to see JR and tells him what she saw.  JR’s happy that Babe believes his story and that Babe can truly see that he has changed. 

Ambyr Childers (ex-Colby) says goodbye.

This Week:  Annie sabotages a presentation at Fusion.  Zach and Ryan work together.  Erica gets advice from Warren Buffett.  Tad gets information about Kate.  Dixie tells Adam that she is there to make sure that he does what is right.

Can’t Miss: 5/6 Aidan becomes a hostage in Darfur.

Next Week:  Dixie continues to taunt Adam.  Ritchie is confronted by Babe.  Tad is sure that he is close to Kate. 

SOD 5/6

There is a preview of Jake’s return that starts on 5/2.  Zach finds out that a Cambias employee, Jake, has been taken hostage and sends Aidan on a rescue mission.  Jake is forced to operate on a rebel leader and then Aidan shows up, but the rescue mission doesn’t go as planned.

Susan Lucci (Erica) is featured as performer of the week for the story surrounding Carmen’s “on the run” new beginning.

Ricky Paull Goldin joins the cast as Jake Martin on 5/2.

Brianne Moncrief joins the cast, and replaces Ambyr Childers, as Colby Chandler on 5/7.

Cady McClain returns as Dixie on 5/2.

Ratings for the week of 4/7: 1.9

Zach and Ryan help Aidan rescue Jake on 5/5, while Tad gets a lead about Kate.  On 5/6, Kendall tries to get Aidan off Greenlee’s mind.

Heaven Sent: ABC Daytime President Brian Frons explains the reasons behind Dixie’s return.  He explains that they screwed up by killing Dixie before Tad got Kate back and by the cause of her death.  They didn’t want to resurrect Dixie because Jesse just came back from the dead.  Can Dixie save Adam’s soul?  The producers and writers believe that she might have the power to do so.  Dixie wants Tad and Kate reunited and harasses Adam in hopes that he will confess to Tad.

Ricky Paull Goldin speaks about watching the on-screen death of Gus Aitoro (his character from GL) and about reinventing Jake Martin.  He also discusses his different soap roles and characters over the years.

There is an article about job fronts and how realistic they are, such as Kendall’s status as an author.

What Will Happen: Aidan puts himself in danger for a friend.  Tad hopes he will find Kate.  Jake Martin is living on borrowed time.

SOW 5/6

Ambyr Childers will be replaced by Brianne Moncrief as Colby Chandler starting 5/7.

Cady McClain talks about Dixie’s return.  Dixie has some fun while haunting Adam.

Aidan leaves Pine Valley for the Sudan this week.  He realizes that the man he is supposed to save is Tad’s brother and he decides that he has to go.  Aidan promises Greenlee that he will be back.

This Week: Zach and Kendall start to get back on track.  Annie manipulates Ryan.  Jesse feels nervous about meeting Cassandra.  Erica struggles while in solitary.  Angie and Jesse’s home is broken into, by Robert.  Sam rescues Erica 4/30.

Next Week: Tad gets information about Kate.  Aidan is taken hostage.  Babe realizes that she was wrong about JR.  Dixie is back, as a ghost.

SOW 4/29

Crazy Rumor: Kim Delaney will resurrect Jenny despite the nasty Jet Ski incident.

Beth Ehlers (Harley, GL) is in negotiations, but has also met with AMC.

Thorsten Kaye (Zach) now blogs his thoughts about hockey playoffs at NHL.com

Melissa Claire Egan speaks about Ryan and Annie’s future.  Annie talks to Julia and figures out that she fell in love with Ryan when he was being her hero, so she tries to make him her hero again.  Annie trips on a toy and tells Ryan that there was an intruder.  Melissa says that it is fun to play the manipulative side of Annie and that she wants Annie and Ryan back together. 

Julie Caruthers gives sneak previews of upcoming stories.  She assures fans that Zach and Kendall aren’t whole without each other.  She says that they wanted Dixie to make things right with Tad and Kate.  She says that Angie and Jesse’s wedding is planned for May 21 and there will be a lot of action and adventure.  She says that Babe tries to figure out what happened to JR while JR and Zach try to figure out what happened the night JR’s car was stolen and Ritchie ends up in the hot seat. 

Zach and Kendall turn to arson this week as they burn down Tad’s cabin.  Kendall tells Zach that they need to leave town to work on their marriage, but Zach thinks that they would just be running away.  They try to decide what “good thing” to get rid of to keep the “bad thing” (Kendall’s affair) in their lives.  Kendall decides to burn down the cabin and Zach asks Tad what he thinks about it.  Zach realizes that Kendall is ready to move on and supports her decision.  They watch the cabin burn to the ground and then spend the night together.  Afterward, Zach seems to be okay with Kendall, but how is he okay with Aidan?

This Week: Greenlee figures out that something is going on with Kendall.  Colby tries to convince Frankie to open up.  Jack is asked by Aidan if he will give his blessing to his marriage to Greenlee.  Erica sets out to accomplish something.  Ryan decides to move back in with his family.  Jesse’s coffin is exhumed on 4/25.

Next Week: Zach has something in mind for Aidan.  Samuel rescues Erica.  Robert is determined to get what he wants.

SOD 4/29

Executive Producer Julie Hanan Caruthers gives a preview of Dixie’s return that starts on May 2.  She says that the show wanted Dixie to be the person to reunite Tad and Kate.  Dixie tries to convince Adam to do the right thing for Tad and Kate by haunting him.  Adam’s family thinks that he is seeing things, and he can’t tell them what is going on, because he is afraid they will think he is crazy.  Dixie will also be affecting the lives of JR, Little Adam, and Tad.  She will be integrated in Jake’s story too.

The singing group B5 appears on April 25 to perform their song “Erika Cain” to support Erica.

YaYa DaCosta debuts as Cassandra, Angie’s adopted daughter, on April 25.

Laurence Lau returns on May 20 as Greg.  He appears at Angie and Jesse’s wedding and will also be reuniting with Tad and Opal.

Zach comes up with a plan to make Aidan leave on 4/28.  JR and Colby think that Adam is crazy on 4/29 while Greenlee tries to find out what Zach knows about Aidan.  Erica suffers from being kept in isolation.

The show has put out a casting call for the role of “Edie.”  The audition scene will be a remake of a scene between Colby and Dre.

Ratings for the week of March 31: 1.8

“Spring Fever” (May Preview):  Tad and Jesse try to find Kate while Dixie haunts Adam.  Angie and Jesse have a wedding full of “fireworks.”  Cassie’s reaction to Jesse’s resemblance of Jacob will cause tension.  Greenlee and Aidan plan their wedding.  Jack returns with a secret.  Erica uses Jack and Samuel to get what she wants.  Annie tries a different approach to help Ryan get his memory back.  JR and Zach try to figure out what happened the night JR’s car was stolen and Amanda agrees to help.  Colby and Frankie’s “relationship” will continue to develop.  Dre becomes interested in Cassandra.  Josh will be involved in the Cambias story with Aidan and Zach.

Literary agent, Rita Rosenkranz, discusses whether the writing and publishing of Kendall’s book “Charm!” is realistic or not.

What Will Happen:  Annie tries to make Ryan fall in love with her again.  Zach has forgiven Kendall, but not Aidan.  Erica finds herself in solitary confinement.

SOD 4/15

Cady McClain returns May 2nd. She last appeared on ATWT in January. Her spirit will guide Tad to find Kate. She is glad to be able to provide closure for that story. Cady speaks in depth about how Dixie's last return was written so badly.

The show is adding more young women.

The Daytime Emmy nominations will be announced on The View April 30 by Cameron Mathison (Ryan), Rebecca Budig (Greenlee) and other soap stars.

Ratings, week of 3/17: 1.9

Next week's issue is going to have a Q&A with Cameron Mathison (Ryan) and Thorsten Kaye (Zach), which sounds very funny.

4/14 Zach shows that he knows all about Aidan and Kendall's grief sex. 4/15 Jesse tries to tie up the loose ends of his ordeal, while Ryan asks Annie to tell them about how they fell in love.

A two-page article, with lots of pictures, catches viewers up on Jake's history.

Coming up: Zach gets suspicious of Aidan and Kendall. Rob tries to question Jesse. JR asks Amanda to help him expose Richie. Annie serves Ryan with divorce papers.

SOW 4/8

Ratings, week of 3/10: 1.9

Rich businessman and philanthropist Warren Buffett will appear on the show in May.

Debbi Morgan talks about Angie in a short article. Jesse surprises her with a vow renewal ceremony. He goes to great lengths to set it all up for her. After the ceremony, he sweeps her away for another surprise.

This week, Erica talks the truck driver (of the truck in which they've been hiding) not to press charges against her and Carmen. The guy gets scared when Erica declares that these dresses are all knockoffs, so he's transporting stolen goods across the border. They go into a store, where Erica steals a metal nail file so that she can get free of Carmen. She tries to pick the lock while Carmen is asleep. Erica does get away, and with the gun, but she can't bring herself to leave Carmen alone.

Aidan asks Greenlee to marry him this week, but she's not interested. Aidan storms off after Greenlee asks him not to take it the wrong way. He gets drunk and remembers Annie coming on to him, so he phones her up and goes over to her house. Annie sees how drunk he is and puts him to sleep on the couch. Kendall comes over and doesn't see him there. He awakens and says to Kendall that Greenlee doesn't love him so more, so why are they bothering to feel guilty? Annie hears him and wonders what he means. Kendall then lies to cover.

Cady MClain (Dixie) chats in Carolyn's Corner this week about returning to the show. She does not reveal much about the story but says she doesn't think Dixie's death will come out as being faked by Zach or anyone else.

Coming up this week: 4/2 J.R. is diagnosed by Angie. Also: Opal suspects something bad about Richie. Greenlee is told by Ryan that he won't see her any more. Frankie and Colby bond more. Samuel wants to meet with Jesse. Kendall gets very angry with Zach.

Next week: Greenlee tries to mend her relationship with Aidan. When Angie and Jesse try to have a romantic evening, things don't go well. Erica is followed by Jack and Zach.

SOD 4/1

Ricky Paull Goldin talks about leaving GL and moving to AMC (as the new Jake) He says he had already wanted to leave GL before he got the offer. He is happy to be sharing scenes with Michael E. Knight (Tad), whom he knows already.

Erica goes on the run this week with Carmen. Erica leaves a note in lipstick with her name and Zach's number so that they can follow her. They stow away on a truck heading toward Chicago. They bond as they talk about men in their lives. Jack blames Samuel for what has happened.

The show is still casting Angie's adopted daughter Cassie, who will be involved with Dre and have difficulty playing family with Jesse.

3/31 Annie tries to seduce Aidan as Greenlee gets more attracted to Ryan. 4/1 Angie starts to figure out what really happened to J.R.

This week: Krystal has difficulty leaving the Chandlers. Jesse wonders if he'll find his answers. Erica spills her guts about Jack to Carmen. Kendall is told the truth by Ryan.

SOW 3/18

Mario Van Peebles talks about his character, Samuel, working with Susan Lucci, and coming to daytime. He admits that Samuel finds Erica attractive and interesting.

Tad decides that the safest place for Krystal and Jenny is at the Chandler mansion. Both Krystal and Adam are not happy about the idea, but they both give in due to the safety concerns. When Babe finds out, she insists on joining them there. J.R., too, decides to move back in.

Amanda Baker briefly talks about Babe and her history with J.R. and Richie.

Ratings, week of 2/18: 2.1

Olivia Birkelund (ex-Arlene) plays a role on Guiding Light starting 3/11.

This week: Annie figures out the truth about Ryan. Annie and Zach grow closer. Rob is followed by Frankie. Erica and Jack think about the good old days. Ryan is met up by Kendall, who sneaks out to see him. 3/13 Erica faces the judge.

Next week: Colby and Frankie are targeted by Robert. Erica goes to jail but remains brave. Jesse thinks about his past and the horrors there.

SOW 3/11

There is a rumor that Ricky Paull Goldin (Gus, GL) is negotiating to play Jake Martin, since he is leaving his GL role.

Melissa Claire Egan (Annie) is featured in a short article. She talks about how Annie has had such a tough time with Ryan's amnesia.

Ryan finds Kendall with Aidan this week.  After having sex with Annie, he gets a memory of Kendall, so he tracks her down while she's in Los Angeles and finds her in a "compromising position" with Aidan.

Ratings, week of 2/11: 2.0

This week:  3/4 Tad meets his uncle.  3/5 Dre has a shocking connection to Samuel. Also, Jesse and Tad search for clues. Babe keeps thinking that J.R. is scum.  Zach and Greenlee get a little too close.  Erica turns the tables on Samuel.  Kendall is in danger.

Next week: In court, Erica finds out her fate.  Jesse and Tad find a clue.  Kendall can't turn her back on Ryan.
