SOD 11/24/09

John Brotherton Exits!  As Charlie and Natalie say heartfelt farewells to Jared, who was killed in a standoff with Mitch, this week marks John Brotherton’s exit.  He will continue to appear in scenes with Natalie and Charlie until 11/18.

Tea Tells Ross The Truth!  Tea is forced to confess to Ross that Danielle is not his daughter, just as Todd comes face to face with the girl in Seattle.  When Ross surprises Tea at her hotel room and threatens her, she is pressured to come clean, and his reaction isn’t a good one.  Ross resorts to throttling her.  Meanwhile, Todd heads to Seattle to find out what’s really going on with Tea, and is shocked to learn that she has a daughter.

Kim and Stacy spin a story for Schuyler after he catches them toying with Stacy’s pregnancy pad on 11/23.  Schuyler makes a deal with Stacy on 11/24.

What Will Happen: Jessica wants answers from her stalker.  When Tea makes a confession, Ross shows his violent side.  Todd learns that Tea has a daughter.

SOW 11/24/09

Natalie Lashes Out!  The newly widowed Natalie blames herself – and a few other key people –  for Jared’s untimely death this week.  In addition to her guilt, there is also plenty of blame left to dump on John.  Fortunately, Natalie is blessed with a large extended family to help her through the tragedy.  Much of Natalie’s anger will be directed at Mitch.

This Week: Kim comes up with a plan to become Mrs. Buchanan.  Todd can’t get Tea out of his mind.  Tea finds a surprise in her hotel room.  Todd comes face-to-face with Danielle.  Schuyler catches Stacy and Kim in a lie.

SOD 11/17/09

Mitch’s Return Brings Tragedy!  While Rex is coming to grips with the reveal of his paternity in Michigan, daddy Mitch Laurence shows his true colors in Napa, where he has cornered Natalie, Jessica and Jared.  After Jessica discovers Nash’s skeleton in the greenhouse at his old vineyard, Jared appears outside the building and begs her to open the locked door.  Meanwhile, Natalie is nowhere to be seen.  Jessica runs over to a closet and opens it, and Natalie falls out.  When Jessica manages to revive her sister, Natalie immediately wants to reunite with Jared and lets him in.  Enter the dastardly Mitch Laurence, who faked his death in Llanview six years earlier.  Meanwhile, Bordy and John race to rescue Jessica and Natalie once John deduces that only Mitch could be behind the murders and grave-robbing.

Bo and Nora learn the outcome of Matthew’s surgery on 11/16.  Nora and Bo’s guilt is amplified after a call from Clint on 11/17.

What Will Happen: Jared’s life hangs in the balance.  Charlie’s past comes back to haunt him.  Rex confronts Roxy.

Roscoe Born returns on 11/9 as Mitch Lawrence!

Bo and Nora’s Next Stop: Seattle!  Call it The Amazing Race, OLTL-style when Danielle and Matthew arrive in Seattle with Nora and Bo hot on their trail.  Nora and Bo are stressed out.  A still-clueless Clint returns to Llanview, which leaves Nora and Bo to return to the States flying commercial.  Also on the plane heading to Seattle: Elijah and Tea.  Once in the city of rain and Starbucks, Matthew’s parents make a beeline for their impulsive son.

Rex learns that his father is none other than the nefarious and notorious Mitch Lawrence this week.  John-Paul Laviosier (Rex) talks about being related to the town psychopath.  Rex is in Michigan with his aunt Corrine and she decides to tell him the truth about his father.  Rex opens an envelope which contains his birth certificate, some money and a gold money clip with “ML” on it.  He looks at his birth certificate and it lists Mitch Lawrence as his father.

This Week: Many Llanview residents head to Seattle.  Destiny begs her brother to do the right thing.  Dr. Nance makes plans to operate on Matthew.  Layla decides to take a chance on love.  Jared drops a bombshell on Charlie.

Kim Goes After Clint!  While seeing pal Stacy through her pregnancy, Kim is starting to get antsy and decides to make her stay in Llanview worth her while by setting her sights on Clint.  After spying a story in the newspaper about the Buchanans and their family tree, she comes up with a plan.  Althought she first settles on single Bo, she switches gears and decides to go after his married brother at Stacy’s prodding.

Nora, Bo and Tea realize that Danielle and Matthew ran away on 11/10.

Father’s Day!  OLTL finally reveals the identity of Rex’s dad – It’s Mitch!  The buildup explodes when Natalie and Rex go looking for a missing Jared at Nash’s old vineyard in Napa, where they run into Jessica, who was summoned by a call from “Nash.” After hearing from a distressed-sounding Corrine, Rex heads to Michigan to check on his aunt, leaving the girls alone at the vineyard, where they come face to face with Jessica’s presumed-dead father and Natalie’s manipulative ex-husband.  Meanwhile, the question of Rex’s paternity has been looming large since Roxy dropped the bombshell last year that Charlie was Rex’s dad, then changed her tune and claimed to have killed the so-called monster.  In March, however, Roxy visited a mysterious figure in a hospital bed, used him to get stem cells to save grandson Shane’s life and then pulled the plug, but viewers saw that the patient survived.  This week, John follows a lead to Michigan and finds Brody and Rex being held against their will by Corrine and Brody’s sister, Nadine, who were coerced into keeping the men from their loved ones.  Before Corrine is arrested for kidnapping, Rex demands to know the truth once and for all about his father, so she hands him an envelope, explaining that there’s no going back once it is opened.  Inside, he finds a man’s ring inscribed with the initials: ML, Mitch Laurence. 

What Will Happen: Kim sets her sights on Clint.  Jessica comes face to face with Jared.  A drunken Gigi makes a play for Schuyler.

SOW 11/10/09

Ann Hamilton returns on 11/3 as Corrine, Rex’s aunt who will be involved in Jessica’s stalker mystery.

Kate Miller will portray Nadine, Brody’s sister, who is in cahoots with Corrine in Michigan.

David Gregory will return this winter as Ford, and is on contract.

Terror At The Vineyard!  Despite evidence to the contrary, Natalie remains convinced this week that Jared is innocent of the crimes he is being connected to.  Her sister Jessica thinks otherwise, when she is drawn out to the vineyard by a call from someone claiming to be Nash.  Natalie and Jessica remain on tenterhooks at the vineyard until Natalie gets a secret text from her husband asking to meet her outside the cottage.  While alone, Jessica makes a horrific discovery and the man who has been behind all of this is revealed.

This Week: It’s Election Day in Llanview!  Todd is determined to find out why Tea went to London.  Clint flies to London to surprise Nora…and Bo!  Brody and Rex are held captive.  A drunken Gigi gets closer to Schuyler.

Next Week: Rex learns who his father is.  Bo, Tea and Nora can’t find their children.  Charlie is haunted by his past.  Jessica and Natalie are in danger.

SOD 11/3/09

Bo and Nora Kiss!  A decade’s worth of emotions, frustrations and passion culminate in a steamy kiss and a heartfelt confrontation for Nora and Bo as they struggle with leaving Matthew behind in his new school in London.  While preparing to leave for Llanview, Nora and Bo feel for their son and return one more time to the Warwick School to say good-bye.  He accepts their peace offering of a cell phone, then coldly orders them to leave.  They head back to the Buchanan compound and take out their frustrations in a most unusual way.  They smash up the place and end up in a kiss.  After the first kiss, they kiss again, until they are interrupted by Kevin, who doesn’t see.  Once he’s gone, they begin to discuss what the kiss might have meant, since they’d already smooched the night before her wedding to Clint.  The argument escalates until Bo finally admits that he loves Nora, too.

Kathy Brier and Chris Stack return in November as Marcie and Michael McBain.  Marcie will be seen on 11/6 and Michael will be seen on 11/12.

Will Chase first airs on 11/11 as Dr. Nance.

David Gregory will return in December as Ford, David’s producer.

Nora responds to Bo’s declaration of love on 11/2, while fate keeps Dorian and David apart and Rachel tries to let Shaun down easy.  Rex is lured into a trap on 11/3, while Fish and Kyle wonder what’s next for them and Todd wants to know what’s really going on with Tea.

*HOW SWEEPS IT IS!*  The lowdown on the hottest November stories on every show!  Tea’s secret child is hidden at the same boarding school where Bo and Nora have brought Matthew.  Jessica and Natalie are both in the midst of the stalker storyline and it seems like Jared is behind it.  Jessica starts to get phone calls that appear to be from Nash.  Natalie and Jessica are being manipulated and lured somewhere, while John and Brody are trying to get to the bottom of the situation.  Schuyler has fallen for Gigi, and when Kim asks him out, we will see Gigi being jealous.  It all starts when Natalie asks Rex for help and asks him not to tell anyone.  Rex tells Gigi that he is working on a case and it pushes her more toward Schuyler.  Kim decides that she wants to land a rich husband and targets the Buchanans.  Dorian concocts a scheme to have a gay wedding and announces that she is a lesbian, and is going to marry Amelia (her agenda-driven campaign manager).  Nick has asked Kyle to marry him to make a point and Oliver is working as a cop doing crowd control at the wedding.  We will see Michael and Marcie in Seattle.  There is a surprise appearance of Michael and Marcie, who is very pregnant.

What Will Happen: Nora and Bo end up in a kiss.  Danger looms for Brody and Jessica.  Dorian gets cold feet on her wedding day.

Kathy Brier and Chris Stack reprise their roles as Marcie and Michael McBain in November.  Marcie is first seen on 11/6 and then they both appear on 11/12 and 11/13.

Bo And Nora Lock Lips Again!  Matthew’s rejection pushes Nora and Bo into each other’s arms this week – and this time, they’re talking about it.  Nora and Bo end up kissing and the kiss sparks some conversation, but they don’t have time because someone walks in.

This Week: Oliver begs Kyle for another chance.  Jessica gets another call from Nash.  Natalie confesses to Rex.  Ross goes after Danielle.  David and Destiny head to London.

Can’t Miss: Schuyler kisses Gigi on 10/30.

Next Week: Stacy torments Gigi.  Someone is watching Jessica and Natalie.  Blair moves forward with Todd. 

SOD 10/27/09

Drama Unfolds In “London”!  Prior to their arrival, Matthew believed that they were going to Seattle to see Dr. Nance, his second choice for a surgeon – until Nora and Bo whisk him away to a boarding school in London.  They have proof that Dr. Nance has only done this surgery twice.  Back in Llanview, Blair regains her memories from the night of her accident and recalls discovering that Todd and Tea have a secret child.  Initially wanting to use that information to harm Tea, Blair backtracks.  Meanwhile, Tea starts to worry that Ross will go after “their”  child, just as Elijah promises to help his brother find the girl.  All paths are about to collide as Matthew reluctantly enrolls in his new school.  One of Matthew’s first friends is Danielle, who just happens to be the daughter Tea is desperate to keep secret.

Kathleen Chalfant is introduced this week as the headmistress of Matthew’s new school.

Dan Gauthier appears on 10/20 as Kevin Buchanan, when he welcomes Bo, Matthew and Nora to the Buchanan compound in London.

Kelley Massal appears beginning this week as Danielle, Matthew’s new school friend – and Tea and Todd’s secret daughter.

John realizes that Natalie no longer trusts him on 10/27.  Meanwhile, Rex and Natalie set out to locate Jared.

What Will Happen: David’s on the verge of telling Dorian how he really feels.  Fate throws Schuyler and Gigi together.  Tea shares her secret with Rachel. 

SOW 10/27/09

Love, Take Two!  Two of Llanview’s ex-couples tiptoe back to each other this week: Blair and Todd and Nora and Bo.  Todd is hovering over Blair, who is recovering from her accidental plunge out of the window.  Todd’s proximity ends in a kiss for the duo, much to Blair’s secret delight.  Meanwhile, across the pond, the tension at the Buchanan compound in London is unbearable, and forces Nora and Bo to have a much-needed conversation about their dilemma. 

**November Sweeps Preview**  Nora and Bo have made a pact to stay in London until Matthew accepts the situation.  Tea’s secret child is in the same school in London as Matthew.  Natalie enlists Rex to help her find Jared before the police do.  Rex is having problems in his relationship with Gigi because it’s clear that she is jealous of Schuyler and Kim.  Rex and Gigi decide to go to couples’ counseling to deal with their issues and then Rex cancels because Natalie needs him.  Gigi gets drunk at work and Schuyler tries to help her out.  There will be the gay wedding happening, it is Dorian’s big stunt to win the mayoral election.  One of the kids (Langston, Markko, Cole or Starr) has a very crucial role in the election that comes down to the wire.  Nick proposes to Kyle and the day of the wedding, Fish is doing crowd control because of the protesters.  Cristian and Oliver develop a nice friendship.  Layla and Cristian show up at the gay wedding because they are worried about Oliver.  Greg and Rachel want to be together.  Brody is in the middle of the Jared investigation and is called away to Michigan by his long-lost sister.  Kim decides that her goal is to land a rich husband, so she zeroes in on a Buchanan during sweeps and decides that she will marry him.  We will see Marcie and Michael in Seattle.  Her pregnancy has come along and it’s Hope’s birthday in November!

This Week: John finds more incriminating evidence against Jared.  Nora dares Matthew to go public.  Tea learns the truth about Ross.  Nash continues to haunt Jessica.  Oliver suffers more heartache.

SOD 10/20/09

Jared Goes Missing!  Despite the evidence mounting against Jared and his evasive behavior, Natalie has continued to defend her husband to John and the Llanview PD.  The tables turn this week when Jared makes a confession.  When Natalie muscles her way in to see Jared, who is being detained by the police, she is trouble by his cryptic statement.  He tells her that he hasn’t been telling her the whole truth.  It isn’t until he is released from jail that she questions what he meant when he said he’d been lying to her, and he reveals that he did know the stalker whose corpse turned up at Llanfair.  Then, when Jared gets a text message from someone reminding him to keep his mouth shut, he steps out.  Natalie tries to go with him, but he won’t let her so she calls John.  John is eager to nail Jared, who took off after receiving another message summoning him to the Buchanan Lodge.  While she’s speaking with John, she gets a phone call from the security company at the Buchanan Lodge.  John wants to go, so she says that she is going too.  When Natalie shows up at the lodge, she finds some blood and isn’t aware of who it belongs to or what happened.

Ratings for 9/21: 1.8

Daniel Manche joins the cast this month as Tom, one of Matthew’s new friends.

Blair is up to something on 10/19, while Tea challenges Todd to deny that he loves her.  Dorian justifies her actions to Langston and Starr on 10/20.

What Will Happen: Jared drops a bombshell on Natalie.  Nora and Bo pull a fast one on Matthew.  Blair’s anxious to regain her memory. 

SOW 10/20/09

A Body Of Lies!  Jared says those two little words – “I lied” – to Natalie and she is shocked, to say the least, when the week ends with one dead body and a missing Jared.  Natalie hears the puzzling confession from Jared when he is at the police station, being questioned about Jessica’s stalker.  It’s only when he is released that Jared offers up a few details.  They get home and Jared tells Natalie that he had been working with Wayne Landers.  A lying husband, however, is better than a dead one.  Jared gets a text and, unbeknownst to Natalie, heads to the lodge.  Natalie gets a call from the security company saying that the alarm at the lodge went off, so she races over there with John following.  Natalie trips and falls, and when she lifts up her hand, it’s covered in blood.

Bo and Nora will do anything to save Matthew from a novice surgeon’s knife.  Their latest plan: enroll Matthew in a boarding school in London.  Hillary B. Smith explains her character’s desperation.  Bo and Nora have lost the right to keep Matthew from having the surgery, but he isn’t emancipated, so they can still make decisions about his schooling.  So when they move him to London, they move him out of the jurisdiction that the court order is given in and they have effectively skirted the issues legally, but it is done completely out of desperation.  Nora finds out that Matthew is going to pursue another doctor on the Internet, so she panics and asks Greg Evans to do the surgery, but he says no.  Nora finds out that Dr. Nance, the other doctor, is going to operate on Matthew the next day and hasn’t been doing this long.  Nora falls apart and Bo says that he has an idea.  They offer Matthew the jet and let him think that he is going to Seattle, but the jet is actually going to London.  Clint is completely supportive and arranges for Bo and Nora to take the BE jet and stay at the compound in London. 

This Week:  Dorian’s engagement stuns Blair.  Delphina has ominous words for Jessica and Brody.  Kim causes more trouble for Rex and Gigi.  John pushes Natalie’s buttons.  Rachel and Greg begin to make love.

Can’t Miss: Shaun wakes up on 10/15.

Next Week: Schuyler and Gigi are thrown together.  Nora and Bo worry about Matthew.  Natalie and John find something icky.  Jared is MIA.  David almost tells Dorian the truth. 

SOD 10/13/09

Blair Spills The Beans … And Takes A Spill!  Blair can’t leave well enough alone this week when, after failing to stop Tea and Todd’s wedding with the bride’s secret husband, she goes straight to Todd with the dirt on Tea.  After a run-in with Ross, Tea decides to come clean with Todd about her marriage, but she is too late.  Todd confronts her, revealing Blair’s claim that not only did Tea marry Ross, she is still married to him, which invalidates her and Todd’s recent union.  In a devastating twist, Todd refuses to forgive Tea and tells her to get out of his life.  Naturally, a confrontation between Blair and Tea ensues, during which Blair catches onto Tea’s even bigger secret.  Blair takes a tumble through the window during the argument.  Tea may have dodged a bullet by silencing Blair for now, but when Blair comes to, she might have some major explaining to do.

The All-American Rejects will perform at Ultra Violet on 12/4 and 12/7, and will showcase their new singles “I Wanna” and “Mona Lisa” from their latest album, When the World Comes Down.

Tia Dionne Hodge returns on 10/5 as Amelia and will play a big role in Dorian’s campaign and personal life.

Wortham Krimmer returns later this year as Andrew, when the reverend comes to conduct a wedding.

Daniel Mache joins the cast as Tom, a new friend of Matthew.

Kelley Massai will portray Danielle, one of Matthew’s classmates.

Tea Is A Mommy!  Blair finds out Tea’s other secret this week, and it’s a big one!  Tea and Blair get into one of their standard rows.  Tea admits that she has a child.  The drama continues when the argument with Tea progresses.  Blair’s first inclination is to tell Todd, but she and Tea struggle and Blair goes out the window.

This Week: David is fired.  Natalie vows to stand by her man.  Oliver thinks that there’s something fishy with Nick.  Matthew searches for another doctor.  What’s the deal with Amelia?  Markko gets into more trouble with his parents.

SOD 10/6/09

Jared Is Connected To The Stalker!  John connects the dots this week and manages to link Jared to Jessica’s stalking.  While Natalie’s husband is still recovering from his mysterious attack at Buchanan Enterprises, John comes calling again.  Brody tips off John that he witnessed Jared on a mysterious phone call and attempts to sneak a peek at Jared’s call history, while John does some investigating of his own.  As he’s viewing some footage that was taken outside Llanfair, from David’s reality show, he spots a lurking figure and gets a printout of the image.  When he takes the photo to Jared, Jessica and Natalie, no one recognizes the man –  but Bree does, claiming that it is the person who gave her the stuffed animal.  Back at the Llanview PD, John makes a stunning revelation: The man in the printout served time at the same prison in New Jersey that Jared did, and at the same time.  Meanwhile, Jared makes face to face contact with the stalker and Natalie later makes a gruesome discovery.

Todd And Téa Tie The Knot!  Despite Blair’s best efforts, Téa and Todd exchange “I do’s” this week.  After managing to drag Ross all the way from Tahiti to Llanview, Blair’s plot to spoil her ex’s wedding is foiled.  Blair is getting ready to step out and make the announcement, and Ross puts his hand over her mouth and shoos her away and puts her on a boat.  While they set sail on the bay, Blair is forced to watch the romantic nuptials through high-powered binoculars.  When they return, Ross tries to make nice and insists that they did the right thing by keeping her from the wedding.  Nevertheless, Blair is set on ruining the honeymooners’ bliss.  When Blair realizes that Dorian was part of the scheme, she makes a beeline for Todd.

A newly emancipated Matthew has a surprise for Nora on 10/5.

What Will Happen: Blair spills the beans to Todd.  Jared gets a call from the stalker.  Fish puts his heart on the line.

SOW 10/6/09

Crazy Rumor: Thorsten Kaye and Alicia Minshew (Zach and Kendall, AMC) are both going to OLTL.

Bad News For Matthew!  Matthew’s plan to walk again hits a major roadblock this week when Greg announces that he is hanging up his scalpel for good.  Greg’s feelings about being a surgeon are affected by Shaun’s condition and it leaves Matthew frustrated and aggravated.  Greg recommends another surgeon who has done the surgery before.  The news that Greg’s not available affects Nora and Bo almost as much as losing the case did.  Needless to say, life at the Buchanan mansion is quite tense because the outcome of Matthew’s situation brings them closer together.

Blair is Nabbed!  Ross whisks Blair away this week to keep her from ruining Téa and Todd’s wedding.  Thanks to Ross, Blair winds up literally adrift at sea, watching the wedding through a pair of binoculars.  Once the “I do’s” have been said, Ross steers them back to shore – and he makes a startling confession to Blair.  Blair’s plan sees her still bent on destroying Téa, and when she gets back to Llanview, she makes a beeline for the newlyweds.

This Week: Téa and Todd wed.  Schuyler’s new job annoys Rex.  John has a lead on Jessica’s stalker.  Ross makes a confession to Blair.  Cristian has romantic advice for Oliver.

Can’t Miss: Téa runs into Ross on 10/2.

Téa/Todd Wedding Spoiler!  While Téa and Todd prepare to walk down the aisle, Blair looks forward to the ultimate wedding spoiler: Téa’s ex-husband, Ross, who Blair has stashed in the cabana.  After Todd manages to convince Téa that he only has eyes for her and not Blair, the pair finally set a wedding date.  Blair, however, overhears their planning and is determined to make sure they don’t exchange “I do’s.”  Blair’s first plan of action is springing Téa’s husband, who Téa believes is her ex-husband, on her and Todd at the wedding.  And Blair’s hoping that the surprise guest will shed more light on Téa’s missing years.  Knowing that Ross is the key to Blair’s success, Dorian has her own plan in mind: prevent Blair from stopping the wedding so that Todd will marry Téa and be out of Blair’s life.  As a result, Dorian corners Ross and offers him a hefty sum to whisk the would-be wedding crasher out of town.

The Verdict Is In!  Nora and Bo are thrown for a devastating loop this week when the judge rules in Matthew’s favor.  In the final arguments, Nora and Bo’s lawyer cites Greg’s error in judgment that put brother Shaun in a coma.  The judge determines that Matthew should be allowed to make his own decision regarding his health.  Nora then literally begs her child to reconsider, to no avail.  Meanwhile, Greg has resolved to put down the knife.

Kim and Stacy conspire to break up Gigi and Rex on 9/28.  As Kim and Stacy stir up trouble, will Gigi turn to Schuyler on 9/29.

What Will Happen: Fish fears that he’s lost his parents’ love forever.  Dorian has a tempting offer for Ross.  John suspects Jared of hiding something.

Blair and Ross: The Wedding Date!  Blair puts her plan to destroy Todd and Téa’s happiness into high gear this week when she learns that they’re getting hitched.  Blair drags Ross right into the middle of her scheme, hoping that the sight of Téa’s secret husband will put an abrupt end to Téa and Todd’s nuptials.  Enter Dorian.  Despite her support of Blair, she thinks it’s best if Blair is out of town with Ross while the nuptials take place.  So, Dorian makes an offer to Ross that she hopes he won’t refuse – and over at the country club, the wedding march begins.

Matthew Wins!  Nora and Bo are stunned this week when the judge rules on Matthew’s case.  The verdict: Matthew Wins!  Matthew is determined to move forward, but he is scared.  Naturally, Nora breaks down in Bo’s arms, which makes the judge’s decision a tiny bit more palatable for Bo. 

This Week: Kyle has a run-in with Oliver’s dad.  Téa tells Todd a half-truth.  Nora falls into Bo’s arms.  Dorian tries to make a deal with Ross.  John is suspicious of Jared, and Natalie isn’t pleased.

Next Week: David has an incriminating tape.  Blair can’t let go.  Kim and Stacy plot to break up Gigi and Rex.  Greg has devastating news for Matthew. 

SOD 9/22/09

Rex Proposes to Gigi!  Conscious of Schuyler’s ever-lingering presence and the damage that’s been done to his own relationship with Gigi, Rex makes a stunning move: He proposes.  Prior to the proposal, Rex is busy dealing with trying to get a paternity test done on Stacy’s baby, while Gigi shares her suspicions about Stacy with Schuyler.  Gigi continues to keep Schuyler in her orbit.  Nevertheless, Rex graciously promises not to interfere with her and Schuyler’s friendship.  But when he overhears Schuyler and Gigi having a heart to heart, he decides to step it up.  Once Schuyler is gone, Rex pops the question.

Lisa Evans and J. Tucker Smith appear on 9/16 as Barbara and George Fish, Oliver’s parents.

Jon Prescott appears on 9/18 as Chad, the swim teacher that Blair uses in her latest scheme.

David Vadim’s run as the villainous drug lord, Sergei, comes to an end this week when he is shot.

Fish Comes Out To His Parents!  Thanks to some nudging from roommates Layla and Cristian, Fish reveals to his parents that he’s gay – and it doesn’t go over particularly well.  The week kicks off with a little gift from Fish’s roommates: a book called How to Tell Your Parents You’re Gay!  Meanwhile, Fish isn’t convinced of the books usefulness because he doesn’t plan to come out to his parents, but when Barbara and George Fish show up for their visit a day early, the arrival forces the issue.  They show up in the middle of the gift-giving and George finds the book, so Fish comes out to his parents.  As anticipated, Fish’s conservative cop father isn’t thrilled.

Todd makes a grand gesture for Téa on 9/21, while Blair anticipates ruining her ex-husband’s wedding day.

What Will Happen: Dorian and Viki prepare to do battle.  David’s career in reality TV reaches its end.  Jared fights off the mystery stalker.  Fish finds the courage to come out to his parents. 

SOW 9/22/09

Rex Pops The Question to Gigi!  Despite the fact that their relationship is strained, Rex proposes to Gigi this week.  However, Gigi doesn’t have an immediate answer.  Gigi wonders about Rex’s motives.  And her fears are valid, since Rex has “allowed” Schuyler and Gigi to be friends, despite the fact that he would prefer to see Schuyler exit Llanview.  Rex doesn’t want to take this friend away from her because he doesn’t want to be an insensitive jerk.

Viki vs. Dorian!  Llanview frenemies take their long-standing rivalry to the ballot box when Dorian decides to run for mayor this week.  There is time for campaigning, and the issues in the election are very clear.  Then David Vickers is put into the mix along with other characters.  David, of course, guarantees laughs.  Dorian asks David to be her campaign manager, but will he take the job or not?

“Hey, Mom and Dad, I’m…”  Oliver does the unthinkable – at least in his mind – this week: He comes out to his conservative parents.  Oliver has already said that he wonders if his parents will love him if he’s gay.  Layla and Cristian are really there for him. 

This Week: Jessica fears losing another man she loves.  Téa and Todd announce their engagement.  David’s career hits a major roadblock.  Greg accepts full responsibility for Shaun’s condition.  Jared is attacked.  Hope and Starr are reunited with Cole.

Can’t Miss: Marty and John begin to make love on 9/15.

Next Week: Gigi has an answer for Rex.  The verdict is in for Matthew and his parents.  John becomes suspicious of Jared.  Greg feels guilty.
