Emily Alyn Lind (Emma, AMC) appears in the movie "Who is Clark Rockefeller?" on Lifetime, Saturday, March 13, at 10 p.m. & 12 midnight, ET.


Soap Opera Spirit Awards — Who will win? Who will lose?
On Tuesday, March 9, Michael Fairman presents the On-Air On-Soaps podcast presentation of TV Guide Canada’s Third Annual Soap Opera Spirit Awards, which will be co-hosted by Days/Venice stars Crystal Chappell and Galen Gering. It will air at 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET. Only 21 categories will be announced on air. All of the winners will be posted on http://tvguide.ca/ on March 10. Eden Riegel (ex-Bianca) is replacing Vail Bloom as Heather Stevens on Y&R. She begins taping the week of March 15.


Aiden Turner (ex-Aidan) joins the cast of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" beginning on Monday, March 22.


John Callahan (ex-Edmund) is returning to "Days of Our Lives" as Dr. Richard Baker on Thursday, April 22.


Jill Larson (Opal) appears in the new Martin Scorsese film, Shutter Island, but chances are you won't recognize her! She plays the small, but very memorable role of "manacled woman," which she shot in a day on the Boston set.


Colin Egglesfield (Auggie, Melrose Place; ex-Josh, AMC) has been cast as young William Walker in a two-hour flashback episode of "Brothers & Sisters" to air on Sunday, April 11. Egglesfield replaces Daniel Cosgrove (Chris, ATWT), who had a scheduling conflict. Egglesfield plays the late senior Walker (played by Tom Skerritt in the series' first year) and Lauren Bittner will play Nora (Sally Field) in the 1973 and 1986 segments. Egglesfield's last airdate on "Melrose Place" is Tuesday, March 9.


Amanda Seyfried (ex-Joni) appears in the TV show "Big Love" also stars in the new romantic comedy "Dear John" with Channing Tatum, out in theaters, and has many other movies coming out, as well.


Sam Page (ex-Trey) will appear on ABC's "Desperate Housewives" in a multi-episode arc beginning in late February as Jeremy, a cook who develops a thing for Bree (Marcia Cross). Variety also reports that he is joining the cast of "Greek": "Sam Page ("Melrose Place") has signed on for a recurring role on "Greek." The thesp has also boarded the pic "Answer to Nothing" and was most recently seen on "Mad Men" as Joan Holloway's husband, Greg. "


Four stars of AMC will appear in the March issue of "Los Angeles Magazine" in a special 8-page spread wearing the hottest spring fashions. Susan Lucci (Erica), Cameron Mathison (Ryan), Rebecca Budig (Greenlee), and Denise Vasi (Randi) posed behind the scenes at the new AMC L.A. set.


The movie "When in Rome" was released on January 29, 2010, starring Josh Duhamel (ex-Leo) and Kristen Bell ("Veronica Mars" and "Heroes").


Alexandra Daddario (ex-Laurie) plays Kate on "White Collar" on USA Network.

Martha Byrne (ex-Lily, ATWT; ex-Andrea, GH) has created and stars in Gotham: The Series, a web serial which debuted on November 23, at 8 p.m. ET on www.gothamtheseries.com. Kim Shriner (ex-Keith, ATWT; ex-Scott, GH & PC; ex-Harrison, Y&R), Kurt McKinney (ex-Matt, GL; ex-Ned, GH), Michael Park (ex-Jack, ATWT), Lisa Peluso (ex-Lila, AW & ATWT; ex-Ava, Loving; ex-Billie, OLTL), Anne Sayre (ex-Mitzi, ATWT; ex-Pam, AW), Brianne Moncrief (ex-Colby, AMC), and Maeve Kinkaid (ex-Vanessa, GL; ex-Angie, AW) also appear. Abigail Spencer (ex-Abby) has a recurring role on "Mad Men" and has just landed a role on NBC's new drama "Rex Is Not Your Lawyer" as Lindsey.


Crystal Chappell (Carly, Days; ex-Olivia, GL; ex-Maggie, OLTL) is producing a web series named "Venice," which premiered on Friday, December 4. Jessica Leccia (ex-Natalia, GL), Jordan Clarke (ex-Billy, GL), Hilary B. Smith (Nora, OLTL), Gina Tognoni (ex-Dinah, GL; ex-Kelly, OLTL), Galen Gering (ex-Louis, Passions), Tina Sloan (ex-Lillian, GL), Michael Sabatino (ex-Lawrence, Days; ex-Anthony, B&B; ex-Jonathan, AMC; ex-J.T., Passions) and Daniel Cosgrove (ex-Bill, GL; ex-Scott, AMC) have also joined the cast. Cameron Mathison (Ryan) has been a correspondent for "Good Morning, America" since January, 2009.  Also, he stars as Dr. Dan in Procter & Gamble's new web soap Brighten Bay, a colorful community with on-going drama between its neighbors, including: Nurse Nancy, Sandy, and David. Tune in to watch the drama unfold as Dr. Dan goes head-to-head with David in battles involving love, lies and heartbreak. On the interactive website, www.BrightenBay.com, viewers can join the community and follow along closely as the plot thickens surrounding Dr.. Dan, the bright spot in a dirty world. Jack Scalia (ex-Chris Stamp) has just finished filming the movie "Black Widow" with Janine Turner (ex-Laura Templeton, GH) and Krista Allen (ex-Billie, Days). It is scheduled to be released in 2010, along with his other film, "The Second Time".


Michelle Trachtenberg (ex-Lily) appears on "Gossip Girl" as Georgina and also stars in the new NBC show "Mercy".


Matt Borlenghi (ex-Brian Bodine, AMC; ex-Mayor Marino, Days; ex-Ziggy, B&B) plays Valentin Cassadine on "General Hospital" sometime this year.


Ambyr Childers (ex-Colby) posted this on Twitter: "Excited about my new movie coming out with director Joel Schumacher starring Chace Crawford and 50 Cent '12'".

Manhattanites, an indie film which follows the lives of a group of assorted characters in New York City over a period of several months, was released to DVD on Wednesday, May 6, 2009. Co-directed by Darnell Williams (Jesse, AMC), it stars Ilene Kristen (Roxy, OLTL), Forbes March (ex-Nash, OLTL), Aiden Turner (Aidan, AMC), David Fumero (Cristian, OLTL), and Jill Larson (Opal, AMC).
