Red Dwarf is a great British scifi-sitcom that started in 1988 and had 8 great years before finishing in 1999.  Dave Lister is the only human survivor of a disaster that occurs on his ship, "The Red Dwarf".  He awakens far in the future after being put in stasis.  His only companions are "Cat", who evolved from his pet; Holly, the ship's computer; and the hologram of Arnold Rimmer, his annoying shipmate.  The show was very funny, especially the first few seasons.  It lampoons every scifi show out there.  You may see it in reruns on PBS, BBC, or on DVD.  Everyone should watch this hilarious show!

• Craig Charles (Dave Lister) is on the soap "Coronation Street" and has a BBC radio show.  He just signed a new 3-year contract for "Corrie"!
   
• Chris Barrie (Arnold) was in the Lara Croft movies and keeps busy doing TV, radio, and films. Danny John-Jules (Cat) also has kept busy doing TV series and movies.
