"Warm Spring Nights"
Part 7 ~ Dangerous

Sitting on the park bench, pretending to read a book, English peered over the rim of her fake glasses at her potential enemy. The rumors that she heard proved to be true. He was dark and handsome. English watched Johnny walk slowly towards a park bench. Standing behind it, he was lost in deep thought. It didn't take English long to notice that he didn't have any bodyguards around. It could only mean one thing; he was a wild child, rebellious and more of a danger to his own family than to Jason and the organization. She was about to stand and leave when she noticed Johnny run his fingers gently across the back of the bench. Walking around to take a seat, Johnny leaned his head back and closed his eyes. In that moment, he looked so peaceful that English almost forgot that he could be very dangerous. While his eyes were still closed, English eased herself from the bench and walked toward the playground.

Today seemed to be her lucky day. As she stood next to an overgrown tree, she watched Ric play with his daughter. Dressed in a white polo shirt and beige slacks, Ric seemed to enjoy his time with the young girl. A father's love, English thought, could be his downfall. English watched Ric walk behind the little girl as she chased a butterfly. If there was a threat in the Zacchara organization, it wasn't Ric or Johnny.

Although Anthony Zacchara was in a wheelchair, he was still devious and deadly and according to many, he had one dangerous weapon, his daughter Claudia. As long as Claudia stayed out of town, English knew that her job would be easy. She glanced at her watch. She still had an hour before she had to go back and watch the kids. She decided to go back to the house and see if there were any internal enemies. Maybe now was the time to test how dangerous Milo really was.

"It's really dangerous to be sleeping on park benches"

At the sound of Maxie's voice, Johnny opened his eyes. She looked pretty in her black slacks and walnut-colored cropped jacket. She didn't try to hide her smile and if she was worried about any danger, she didn't show it. Sitting in the same place that she did a night ago, she crossed one slim leg over the other. "So, do you sleep here often?"

Johnny laughed openly. His laugh was so inviting, that Maxie found herself laughing too. Bantering back and forth, they both enjoyed each other's company, oblivious to those around them.

Her eyes were so beautiful, Johnny thought to himself. He wondered what they would look like when she was aroused.

He had a beautiful smile. His lips looked so soft and full. Maxie wondered what it would be like to kiss them.

As they each let their imagination turn passionate, they mistakenly believed that there was no danger in dreaming.
