[The Story]

The Pilot  Episode # - 1

Story - Sheriff Lucas Buck rules Trinity with a demonic force that rages
unchecked. Beloved by some, feared by others, he rules without regard for
the law. In the pilot, we meet Dr. Matt Crower, a young doctor haunted by
his past, who will clash with Lucas -- Gail Emory, successful newspaper
reporter who had escaped Trinity only to return to the scene of her past,
one that transcends centuries, when she learns that Lucas is out to get her
cousin -- Caleb, Gail's cousin, target of a threatening campaign by Lucas
-- Ben Healy, Lucas's deputy, disturbed by his boss's amorality, yet
helpless to stop it -- Selena Coombs, school teacher by day, Lucas's
seductress by night.

A Tree Grows In Trinity  Episode # - 2

While running from Lucas, Caleb comes across a tongue-less man chained in
an old hunting lodge. As Caleb returns to town to get help for the man,
Selena tries to seduce Matt, and Gail and Lucas clash over plans for
Caleb's future.

Eye Of The Beholder  Episode # - 3

Lucas traps the anesthesiologist into testifying against Matt at Caleb's
custody hearing by giving his wife an enchanted mirror that makes her a
slave to her own vanity. Meanwhile, Gail begins to investigate the
Merlyn/Gage murder/suicide, and Merlyn's spirit leads Caleb to Miss Holt's
house.

Damned If You Don't  Episode # - 4

Lucas Buck collects his due from the Trinity junkman, Caleb builds a
tornado chamber, and Gail finds a mysterious key in her parents old car.

Dead To The World   Episode # - 5

When Gail investigates the death of a childhood friend, the trail leads to
Lucas Buck. Meanwhile, Ben confronts his ex-wife's abusive new husband, and
Caleb gets a glimpse of his own dark side when Lucas helps him in an

Selena tries to reconcile with her Reverend father but he discards her, leaving her to reach to Caleb for comfort, which enrages Lucas and makes him question how far Selena would go to be comforted by Caleb.

Caleb finds a skeleton, Selena finds an admirer and Gail discovers the uses

Matt, with the help of Lucas, begins to have visions of the accident that caused the death of his wife and child and tries to battle the temptation to have a drink of alcohol, Caleb believes his neighbor is burying dead bodies in his back yard and Gail takes the responsibility of setting Caleb straight.

The Beast Within  Episode # - 10

Ben's brother, shot while holding up a local store for a cheap watch, takes Lucas, Gail, Caleb and Matt hostage at the hospital, leaving it up to Ben to save the day.

Rebirth  Episode # - 11

To Caleb's surprise, Merlyn finds a way to come back to life. But when he
learns that his cousin Gail's friend is having unexpected difficulties with
her pregnancy, he suspects there's a link between Merlyn and the woman's
unborn child.

Ring Of Fire  Episode # - 12

Gail starts investigating the deaths of her parents, which leads her to Lucas' house, where she is forced to make a deal with Lucas. In return for the truth, she has to give him her body for a night.

Resurrector    Episode # - 13
Radio talk show host Mel Kirby approaches Lucas for help in bringing his
show to television. When Lucas turns Mel (and his co anchor wife, Gloria),
down flat, Mel vows to ruin Lucas. Meanwhile, a depressed Caleb decides he
wants to give Merlyn a second funeral by throwing a party for the dead.

Inhumanitas    Episode # - 14

Merlyn appears to Lucas and announces that she has come to destroy him,
causing the sheriff to sense fear for the first time. Meanwhile, Father
Tilden summons the courage to face down Lucas in front of the congregation,
leading to a violent encounter.

The Plague Sower   Episode # - 15
A mysterious disease plagues the townspeople of Trinity, causing Matt to
act very strangely, and prompting a suspicious Government medical official
to clash with Sheriff Buck.

Doctor Death Takes A Holiday Episode # - 16

A dying woman claiming to be Sheriff Buck's mother tries to incite Matt to
take drastic action against the lawman, while Buck uses the weakness of a
judge's wife to get rid of Matt for good.

Learning To Crawl   Episode # - 17

Lucas takes Caleb on a fishing trip and tricks Selena into come along, but three robbers/murderers have taken up residecet in Lucas' cabin so it results in a hostage situation, and Caleb discovering some of his own powers, with the help of Lucas. Gail gets worried because Lucas hasn't contacted her, so she and Doctor Peele decide to go down to the cabin to see what's up.

Echoes Of Your Last Goodbye  Episode # - 18

Gail and Ben dig further into the death of Caleb's mother, revealing Lucas killed her, but can Gail break free from his chains? Caleb has a fight with a school bully and proves how evil he can be.

Triangle  Episode # - 19

Gail, in trying to break free from Lucas, discovers she is pregnant with his child, but it isn't a child that Gail sees in her ultrasound, it's something hideous which causes Gail to try to commit suicide.

Strangler  Episode # - 20

Lucas summons the Boston Strangler to Trinity to rid him forever of Merlyn but makes the mistake of leaving town on an errand. The Boston Strangler kills three woman, attacks and nearly kills Gail, and goes after Caleb.

The Buck Stops Here  Episode # - 21

Lucas Buck is attacked in his home and dies in the hospital, leaving Doctor Peele to take the blame.  Gail finally admits she is in love with Lucas, Selena threatens Gail's unborn child, and Caleb begins to take over his father's role.

Reqiuem  Episode # -22

It is revealed that Lucas Buck was buried alive, and it's up to Merlyn, Ben and Billy Peele to save him.  Selena tells Caleb that Gail is pregnant, so Caleb eliminates the competition of another heir to the Lucas legacy, leaving Gail in a coma. Lucas, seeing Gail in a coma, promises her she'll get another chance and goes to punish their baby's killers.  In the process, he discards Selena for good, knowing that she sent Gail to be slaughtered by Caleb. Lucas and Caleb battle it out to see who is the greatest evil, possibly getting rid of Merlyn for good.
