Passions Q&A
From Suzanne
Silvana Arias (Paloma) was kind enough to answer our
questions in March 2009!
1) What have you been up to since leaving Passions?
Fans miss you!
I miss them too!! After Passions I worked on a sitcom pilot with Bernie Mac
for FOX at Warner Brothers Studios. It was a great experience. I learned a
lot from him. After that I moved back to Miami for 6 months. I needed to
take a break and be with my family and friends. A month ago, I moved back to
LA, and I just worked on an episode for COLD CASE, and now I'm shooting a
Spanish mini series.
2) Did you come from a big family with many siblings?
I always say that my family is huge -even though we are only three sisters-
because in my country you grow up seeing you cousins and uncles and aunts
and grandma and grandpa all the time, so for me that's my family.
3) What kind of music do you listen to?
I like all types of music from Justin Timberlake to Marc Anthony, from
romantic songs to trance. I love music.
4) Are you seeing anyone special?
(no answer)
5) What is your favorite color?
My favorite color is red. It gives me energy. But I wear a lot of black :P
6) Do you still keep in touch with any of the Passions cast?
I live 2 minutes away from Eva Tamargo's (ex-Pilar) house and 5 minutes away
from Heidi Mueller's (ex-Kay) house so we see each other almost all the
time. Heidi is one of my best friends ever!! We call each other "Spaghetti"
LOL
7) Do you have any pets?
(No answer)
8) How many languages do you know?
My native language is Spanish. I'm fluent in English now (thank God!) It was
so hard for me when i got the role of Paloma cause I could barely speak any
English. Eva helped me a lot. And I know portuguese too.
9) What do you hope for the future?
I would love to write something. Maybe a movie. That would be awesome.
10) Who was your role model growing up?
My mom. She's a very hard working person and gives herself completely to
others. She taught us to be professional and respect other people's lives.
