Here's a good interview with Aaron Ashmore (has spoilers if you
haven't yet seen the season finale!
From CWTV.com lounge:
(This may be rumors)
Clark will learn how to fly next season as it focus more on his flying
and heroic side, and also keep and double identity and also phone
boothes as take on more challenges with aliens, freaks, and also DC
Comics villians also. Bruno Mannheim, Intergang, Darkseid, Dick Grayson,
Perry White, and couple of more comics allies and also villains will
appear as he reaches his innner Superman as the red-and-blue blur.
- Oliver will appear for next season, as Emil Hamilton appears to help
Clark when he is in need.
- The movies and cartoons will be put into one and based with most of
the season, while the story arc will be based on the comics, including
heroes and villains.
- Lois, Jimmy, Clark will not team up during their stories for the
Planet, but it could happen if Perry let happen. But it if it does, it's
only probally happen for one time.
- We might see Darkseid as Clark's greatest challenge to be a superhero
to protect Metropolis.
- Doomsday will not appear in season 9 or guest stars another way,
including Chloe too.
- This is the final season. I repeat, the LAST SEASON of the series.
- If Perry starts out as Clark's editor and chief, he will be staying
with Clark in Smallville, which will be akward for Clark, until Perry
finds a place to crash and also he will be drinking again, maybe. It
will probally depend just to make the series better.
- Bruce Wayne, maybe mentioned, but will not appear at all (which sucks,
because he could be the one who could had made him the reason he became
a hero). But who knows, he might appear.

Smallville Exclusive: Chloe's "Hex"-cellent Adventure Backfires!
Mar 23, 2009 06:32 PM ET by Matt Mitovich 10 Comments
email this Buzz up!add to Yahoo! buzz add to facebook This week on the
CW's Smallville, the DC Comics spellcaster known as Zatanna (guest star
Serinda Swan) works her magic at Chloe's birthday party, granting the
guest of honor a most special wish. As a result, Chloe is planted into
her cousin Lois' body, and that switcheroo makes for one freaky
Thursday.
In this exclusive clip, watch as "Chlois" — aka Erica Durance channeling
Allison Mack, nervous lower-lip bites and all — beseeches Zatanna to use
her "hex appeal" to undo what's been done. Plus: Does Clark have a wish
of his own to make?
Written By: Bryan Q. Miller
Directed By: Mairzee Almas
Guest Stars: Serinda Swan (Zatanna)
See a gallery of images from the episode!
The CW's Official Description (Posted 3/5/09): IT’S FREAKY FRIDAY FOR
CHLOE AND LOIS WHEN DC CHARACTER ZATANNA APPEARS — At Chloe’s (Allison
Mack) birthday party, a mysterious magician named Zatanna (guest star
Serinda Swan) grants Chloe’s wish to be more like Lois (Erica Durance)
and switches the two into each other’s bodies. Zatanna searches for her
father’s book of spells so she can conjure up his spirit but not before
also granting Clark (Tom Welling) his deepest wish. Aaron Ashmore and
Justin Hartley also star. Description posted on KryptonSite. Mairzee
Almas directed the episode written by Bryan Q. Miller (#3T7467).
UPDATED 3/5/09: Even though the official description contradicts this,
we still are under the impression that it's not a direct body swap -
Allison Mack will not be playing Lois.
- Even though a majority of Erica Durance's sceen time is as
Chloe-as-Lois, Lois is present for Chloe's birthday party before leaving
town on a story. She returns at episode's end and shares a scene with
Clark.
UPDATED 1/21/09: TV Guide's Matt Mitovich has confirmed that it is
indeed Zatanna in this episode, and she will be played by an actress
named Serinda Swan.
UPDATED 1/3/09: Clark's birthday gift for Chloe is a vintage copy of
"Tales of the Weird & Unexplained."
- Jimmy does not attend Chloe's birthday party. However, he does have a
conversation with Chloe when she appears to be Lois.
- Clark learns fairly early on that "Lois" is actually Chloe.
UPDATED 12/22/08: From Entertainment Weekly's Ausiello: "In one scene
from the ep, Clark stares lovingly into Chloe's eyes, but only because
he thinks it's Lois. It's at that moment that Chloe learns how hard
Clark has fallen for Lois. Um, awkward!"
- And an addition from TV Guide's Matt Mitovich: "a truly magical
magician fulfills Chloe's wish to have Lois' "easy" life ... by
transplanting her into her cousin's body. While my frenemy already
teased a "longing look" between Clark and "Lois" — and Erica Durance's
admirers can obviously count on seeing gobs of their fave actress —
Chloe fans should be very pleased with an epiphany their girl reaches at
episode's end. By the way, you know Clark gets a wish granted as well,
right?"
- Contrary to some speculation, Chloe's "epiphany" does not end with
reviving her journalism career.
- Clark's "wish" of course is to lead a simpler life - he says it but
doesn't exactly expect it to be granted, nor is he aware that "Cassie"
will make it happen.
- Erica Durance will be playing Chloe-as-Lois.
UPDATED 12/15/08: The episode starts with a celebration of Chloe's
birthday at the Ace of Clubs.
- Lois is out of town during the period when Chloe is "Lois" so the two
won't share any screen time or give us a case of double-vision. (Lois is
there for the birthday party, goes off on assignment, and is back by
episode's end, though)
- Time in Lois Lane's shoes reveals Clark's feelings for Lois to Chloe.
- A spell is cast on Clark that makes him believe he is a simple
reporter with glasses.
UPDATED 12/9/08: This episode puts a spin on the "Chlois theory" as a
magic spell turns Chloe into Lois... literally.
- Cassidy Freeman (Tess) and Sam Witwer (Davis) do not appear in this
episode.
UPDATED 12/8/08: Title Revealed. Please do not repost this on other
websites without a link to KryptonSite.com.
- The episode's guest is a character named "Cassie" whose father taught
her about sorcery before he passed away. We're wondering if "Cassie"
might be a substitute name for the DC Comics magician character Zatanna,
much like "Melissa" was substituted for "Maxima" in initial leaks. Many
Silver Age DC Comic books told the tale of Zatanna looking for her
father, Zatara. Interesting trivia: Zatara first appeared in the same
comic book that introduced Superman - Action Comics #1!
- Cassie tries to get Oliver to believe in witchcraft, and comes to him
for help. Apparently Lex had obtained an item before he disappeared that
she would like to obtain. She offers to give Oliver his "deepest desire"
if he helps her.
Episode #8-18: "Eternal" April 2, 2009
Written By: Brian Peterson & Kelly Souders
Directed By: James Marshall
Guest Stars: Connor Stanhope (Young Lex), Alex Ferris (Young Davis)
Official CW Description (Posted 3/13/09): DAVIS BLOOME'S HISTORY IS
REVEALED — Tess (Cassidy Freeman) tries to kill Davis (Sam Witwer) by
blowing up his truck. However, after he escapes, she realizes she needs
help to destroy him and turns to Clark (Tom Welling). Tess reveals
Davis' secret childhood with the Luthors and hints that she knows
Clark's true identity. Meanwhile, Davis runs to Chloe (Allison Mack) for
help. Posted on KryptonSite. James Marshall directed the episode written
by Brian Peterson & Kelly Souders (#3T7468).
UPDATED 2/18/09: As revealed on the Internet Movie Database, Alex Ferris
(seen to your left) will be playing Young Davis Bloome. (Thanks to M.
for the tip.) Supernatural fans may remember him as a younger version of
Sam Winchester in an episode of that series.
UPDATED 2/5/09: Connor Stanhope, who played Young Lex in the Season 7
episodes "Fracture," "Veritas," and "Descent," will again be playing
Young Lex in this episode.
UPDATED 2/3/09: Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello posted the
following spoiler for "Stiletto," even though the harboring actually
begins in episode #8-18: "Chloe willingly begins harboring a fugitive
whose name rhymes with Broomsday. (Second hint: He turned her wedding
day into a low-budget Cloverfield.) And being the dutiful hostess that
she is, she even throws in free meals. Wait 'till you see what, er, who
she serves for dinner on Day One." (The "feeding" does occur in #8-19,
though Sam Witwer does not appear in that one).
UPDATED 1/26/09: In one of the flashbacks, young Lex sees Davis (as a
child) in one of the rooms of the mansion. When Davis takes off a wool
hat that Lex is wearing revealing his baldness, Davis asks him if he is
Warrior Angel.
- Young Lex discovers that "a man" has been doing experiments on Davis
and put needles in him.
- In the flashback, Martha Kent visits the Luthor mansion (sadly, off
screen).
- Young Davis is left in an alley by Lionel's aide.
- In the present day, Chloe and Clark discover that Davis has stopped in
the same field that Clark landed back in 1989. While there, they find a
charred truck.
UPDATED 1/22/09: For this episode, young versions of both Lex and Davis
Bloome will be cast in flashbacks that date back to the 1989 meteor
shower. Sadly, it doesn't seem like we'll be seeing Lionel, Martha, or
Jonathan in these flashbacks.
- The four characters featured in this episode are Clark, Chloe, Davis,
and Tess.
- Tess and Davis finally have some interaction in this episode.
UPDATED 1/19/09: Title Revealed. Please do not repost this on other
websites without a link to KryptonSite.com. If you cannot place a proper
link, don't repost this at all.
- This episode focuses on the origins of Davis Bloome.
- Erica Durance (Lois) does not appear in this episode.
Episode #8-19: "Stiletto" April 23, 2009
Written By: Caroline Dries
Directed By: Kevin Fair
Guest Stars: Juan Riedinger (AJ)
UPDATED 3/12/09: Some teases from TV Guide: "Phone booth. Lois. Red-Blue
Blur." Also, Lois will be in stiletto boots and a cape.
UPDATED 2/18/09: Juan Riedinger, who previously played "Lowell Wilson"
in the Season 6 episode "Progeny," plays a thug named "AJ" who is
stopped by Lois's stiletto heels. AJ later goes after Chloe to learn
what she knows about the Stiletto.
UPDATED 1/27/09: Title Posted. Please do not repost this on other
websites without a link to KryptonSite.com.
- The four characters that appear in this episode are Clark, Chloe,
Lois, and Jimmy.
- Chloe and Lois finally get some hanging-out "cousin time" until they
are attacked by two thugs. Lois takes one of them down with her stiletto
heels (hence the title of the episode?) and begins to feel like a bit of
a superheroine herself. The other, however, gets away with Chloe's car
which has some very sensitive information inside.
- Lois recruits Jimmy for photography help to convince others that
"Stiletto" is Metropolis' newest heroine so she can have the exclusive
and then bring the Red-Blue Blur out of hiding. When Clark finds out
about this, he tells Lois that she's a better reporter than one who
would lie to advance her career.
- Lois may end up having contact with the Red-Blue Blur at some point of
the episode.
UPDATED 1/19/09: Erica Durance (Lois) DOES appear in this episode.
Episode #8-20: "Beast" April 30, 2009
Writer: Genevieve Sparling
UPDATED 3/12/09: TV Guide says that in this episode, "Chloe's Beauty and
the Beast fantasy turns into a nightmare."
UPDATED 2/20/09: Davis phones Chloe to tell her that some people have
tried breaking in to her apartment. He says that he is "holding them
here." Chloe implores him to release them, but Davis says that if he
does that, they'll go to the police.
- Davis compromises and tells Chloe he'll let them go "after we leave
Smallville."
- Jimmy confronts Davis and refers to him as "Cloverfield." Davis
backhands him and sends him flying into a wall. After that, Davis
threatens Oliver.
- Chloe insists to the detective that she and Davis are "nothing more
than friends."
- Later in the episode, it seems that Davis has Oliver held in the Talon
basement. (Maybe he's one of those people who broke in?)
UPDATED 2/16/09: Two police detectives approach Chloe and want to ask
her a few questions about Davis Bloome. They think she is covering for
him and hiding what she really knows.
UPDATED 2/12/09: Title Posted. Please do not repost this on another site
without a link to KryptonSite.com. If you see someone doing so without
giving the proper credit, please call them out on it and ask them to
attribute their sources correctly.
- Chloe's situation with Davis (see "Eternal" spoilers) is giving her
nightmares.
- Oliver and Jimmy begin to form a friendship.
- Chloe makes a decision that will change her friendship with Clark
forever.
- Erica Durance (Lois) and Cassidy Freeman (Tess) do not appear in this
episode. (Don't shoot the messenger!)
UPDATED 3/18/09: Rather than Leech, expect to see Parasite as one of the
Injustice villains.
UPDATED 3/14/09: Some of the character names of Tess's Injustice Gang
have changed, and they may actually end up with names of characters
familiar to the DC Universe.
UPDATED 3/6/09: Tess's gang includes characters named Plastique, Leech,
Fallout, and Voltage. Plastique is, of course, Bette from the episode of
the same name. Leech is not Eric Summers, sadly, but instead is a "cocky
skate punk."
- Green Arrow saves Clark from the Leech character, and Clark discovers
that Oliver has Lex's Kryptonite ring.
- Chloe seems to be working with the Injustice Gang; for why, we don't
know, but she doesn't seem to be acting like herself.
- Tess is determined to find the Traveler.
- Clark confronts Oliver about having the kryptonite ring, and learns
that Oliver obtained it after killing Lex (in "Requiem").
- Oliver gives Clark something that may help to vanquish Doomsday.
- Tess also seems determined to stop Doomsday.
- The "very valuable" thing Tess gets a hold of is the Phantom Zone
crystal.
UPDATED 3/5/09: Title posted.
- The title implies that Tess's gang of meteor freaks might come to the
surface in this one.
- Contrary to earlier reports, Erica Durance does NOT appear in this
episode.
- The four regular cast members that DO appear will be Tom Welling,
Allison Mack, Cassidy Freeman, and Justin Hartley.
- Tess gets a hold of something very valuable - which could prove to be
dangerous for Clark.
Episode #8-22: "Doomsday" May 14, 2009
Director: James Marshall
UPDATED 3/23/09: At least two Justice Leaguers will be returning for
this episode, in addition to (of course) Clark and Oliver, who are
series regulars.
UPDATED 3/18/09: The new set is said to be replacing the Isis Foundation
set.
UPDATED 3/14/09: Ausiello has hinted that one of the characters who will
die is male, and the other is... "can't say just yet."
UPDATED 3/12/09: As we guessed back in March 5... the season finale is
indeed called "Doomsday." (Thanks to TV Guide for that)
UPDATED 3/8/09: The "very big thing" we teased... yep, it's more guest
heroes. Though we're veering on the side of it being the Justice League
rather than the Legion as Ausiello had hinted. Apparently a new set is
being constructed to tie in with their return. Don't be surprised if
even a character like Kara makes a return, too (though if it doesn't,
this is speculation not a spoiler so don't blame KryptonSite for fake
spoilers!).
UPDATED 3/6/09: The printed edition of Entertainment Weekly contains a
HUGE season finale spoiler not posted online by Ausiello: "A
long-running character bites the dust." Time to place bets...? Ausiello
fleshed this "scoop" out by saying that TWO characters will die in the
finale, and unlike before, both deaths will stick. "These characters
will die and they will stay dead," his insider tells him. "This is the
real deal." The other things Ausiello had to say? "That's not to say
producers aren't planning a twist or two, because they are. But I'm told
those twists do not involve bringing either character back to life," he
says, and he adds that one of the two characters qualifies as a
Smallville vet... the other one, not so much.
UPDATED 3/5/09: Michael Ausiello from Entertainment Weekly has revealed
what might very well be the "very big thing" we teased for the finale:
The Legion will return "in some form." Although we're not quite sure if
he's confused and may have meant the Justice League instead. Guess we'll
have to wait and see. Ausiello also has revealed that episodes #8-21 and
#8-22 will focus on a manhunt for Chloe and Doomsday. Although, kind of
interesting that Allison Mack is in #8-21 but Sam Witwer isn't, eh?
- Want to take bets that the finale itself will be called "Doomsday?"
UPDATED 2/12/09: Erica Durance appears in this episode.
UPDATED 2/11/09: The Season 8 finale is currently scheduled to air on
May 14.
More Spoilers For Smallville Season 8 & Season 9!
UPDATED 2/25/09: The show has been renewed for a ninth season, and
Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello has implied that all cast
members from Season 8 will be returning for another year except possibly
for one: Sam Witwer (Davis/Doomsday). (Hopefully this means only that
his role as Doomsday is up, and he'll be back as Zod... right?) When or
if more details come out about Season 9, we'll post them.
UPDATED 2/10/09: That "really exciting thing" we teased for episode #20
or #21 back on January 23? Might actually be saved for the season
finale, in addition to anything else they have planned. No word yet on
if Lex will be present for the finale, though if this "big thing" is
saved for the finale, it still should add to the excitement. (It is in
the finale - see #8-22 spoilers).
UPDATED 1/27/09: The marriage between Chloe and Jimmy might not be long
for the world as they face some major challenges upon his return.
UPDATED 1/23/09: Something really exciting should be coming. All we know
is that it will be a big deal for the show's longtime fans, and as far
as we know, sadly, it's not "the return of Lex Luthor" but still
something just as cool.
UPDATED 12/4/08: In the latest issue of SciFi Magazine, executive
producer Kelly Souders has revealed some tidbits about things to come
(thanks to Cheers at DI who originally brought this online):
- Chloe and Jimmy will "try to manage life" after the wedding but things
will not be easy for them.
- Tess's league of super-powered villains will be let loose at some
point this season. ("Injustice," anyone?)
- Souders notes that Clark's double identity will face new challenges,
and that Oliver and other members of the Justice League haven't had the
same struggles with developing their superhero identities, because their
first identities aren't lies. For Clark, the transition is harder
because Clark Kent, farmboy, is already a mask. She adds that Clark's
humanity also gets in the way.
- The producers have planned two different potential arcs to end Season
8, depending on if there is another season. Regardless of when it
happens, the final episode will be "either a heroic send-off or a
heartbreaking decision for Clark to move on to the next phase." Souders
is confident that the show could work for a ninth season. "People have
been telling Superman stories for decades, so we have no doubt we can
tell stories for another year," she says.
- Regarding romantic futures for Clark and Lois: "After a near-kiss with
Lois, emotions and lust are flying. Their chemistry is charging ful
speed ahead, but let's face it, their insecure walls are getting in the
way."
UPDATED 12/3/08: Another assemblage of the Justice League may come
before season's end.

ninth season.

plummeting plane. Source: TV Guide Online
03/14 - Tess invites Clark to a press conference in New York but when an
explosion rocks the private jet they are on, Clark must figure out how to
save them without Tess learning his secret. Unbeknownst to Clark, Tess
orchestrated the explosion to get Clark to reveal his powers. Meanwhile,
Davis discovers a surprising way to control the monster within. Source: The

02/15 - We learn a little bit more about what is connecting Chloe to Davis,

"Infamous") might mean that having a "double identity" isn't such a bad idea
after all. The red-and-blue combo might just be saved for those occasions.
Davis tells Chloe that she can't blame herself for what happened on her
wedding day. Source: KryptonSite
12/12/2008 - Aaron Ashmore returns in this episode as Jimmy Olsen, but Erica
Durance (Lois) and Justin Hartley (Oliver) do not appear. "Turbulence" as a
title refers to interactions between Clark and Tess on Oliver's jet as well
as turbulence associated with Jimmy's return from his coma. Tess takes Clark
out of town with her to an important press conference in another city. Clark
tries to find out from Tess how much Lex had actually told her about him.

01/25 - Smallville has a fun new trick up its sleeve, and it involves the CW
series' take of DC Comics trickstress Zatanna. TVGuide.com has learned that
Serinda Swan has landed the guest-star role. Swan will appear in this
season's 17th episode, "Hex," as Zatanna, a magician who grants birthday
girl Chloe a wish. Having been through the wringer ever since Brainiac mind-boinked
her and Doomsday crashed her wedding day, Chloe expresses a desire to lead
the comparatively mild-mannered life of Lois Lane. Voilà! Chloe magically
inhabits Lois' (and thus Erica Durance's) body for the bulk of the hour.

12/12/2008 - The episode's guest is a character named "Cassie" whose father
taught her about sorcery before he passed away. We're wondering if "Cassie"

much like "Melissa" was substituted for "Maxima" in initial leaks. Many
Silver Age DC Comic books told the tale of Zatanna looking for her father,
Zatara. Interesting trivia: Zatara first appeared in the same comic book
that introduced Superman - Action Comics #1! Cassie tries to get Oliver to
believe in witchcraft, and comes to him for help. Apparently Lex had

Gang; for why, we don't know, but she doesn't seem to be acting like
herself. Tess is determined to find the Traveler. Clark confronts Oliver
about having the kryptonite ring, and learns that Oliver obtained it after
killing Lex (in "Requiem"). Oliver gives Clark something that may help to
vanquish Doomsday. Tess also seems determined to stop Doomsday. The "very
valuable" thing Tess gets a hold of is the Phantom Zone crystal. Source:

Episode 8.22: Doomsday (Season finale)
Airdate: May 14, 2009
03/14 - Clark Kent vs. Doomsday. Source: TV Guide Online
03/06 - Multiple sources confirm that two pivotal characters will bite the
dust in this May's season finale. And in a bit of a departure for
Smallville, both deaths will stick. "These characters will die and they will
stay dead," maintains my insider. "This is the real deal." [...] Eh, one
more little tease won't hurt anyone: One character qualifies as a Smallville
vet... the other one, not so much. [...] The Legion will return in the May
finale -- in some form. Also, I'm told this season's final two episodes will
focus on a manhunt for Chloe and Doomsday. Source: The Ausiello Files
General Spoilers:
03/14 - In an upcoming episode Tess Mercer discovers [a journal containing
details about Kal-El, Krypton and Clark Kent], and it's not at all clear
that she can be trusted with that info... [The journal is in fact one of
Lionel's diary. Tess reads it and thus learns everything.] Source: Kristin
on E!Online
02/27 - My Small mole assures me that all principal cast members are on
board for next season, with one possible exception: The dude who plays
Doomsday. Source: The Ausiello Files
01/28 - Tess knows all about Clark's secret. Source: Kristin on E!Online
12/12/2008 - Jimmy will witness Davis Bloom murdering someone. Is he
hallucinating? Or does Jimmy know Davis' secret? And whose side will Chloe
take when confronted with this news? Source: The Ausiello Files
Predictions: Lana will leave town until the season finale.
Lex will be back much sooner, not dead and all healed.
Kara will come back to town just in time to save Clark again.~ Suzanne
Question: Has Tom Welling signed on for season 9 of Smallville yet? --
Pat
Ausiello: No. I'm not sure what's taking so long.
Question: Any news from Lois' big return to Smallville? -- Claudia
Ausiello: It airs March 5. It features a return appearance by Tori
Spelling. It finds Clark revealing his true identity to the world. And
I'm told it will have Lois and Clark fans forgetting Lana appeared in
any episodes at all this season.
Episode #8-15: "Infamous" March 5, 2009
Written By: Caroline Dries
Directed By: Glen Winter
Guest Stars: Tori Spelling (Linda Lake), Stephen Lobo (Randall Brady)
UPDATED 1/7/09: Stephen Lobo plays Randall Brady, the Daily Planet's new
City Editor who shares a scene with Tori Spelling's Linda Lake.
UPDATED 12/3/08: Ausiello at Entertainment Weekly has indeed confirmed
that Lois is the one that does the interview with Clark that "outs" his
true heritage as a super-powered alien to the world.
UPDATED 11/25/08: Linda Lake threatens to expose Clark, but Clark
decides he's going to reveal the truth about himself - on his own terms
- before she gets the chance to.
- The news media is in a frenzy over the Red-Blue Blur, and they
approach Chloe to ask what it's like to be the hero's best friend. They
ask what it's been like to keep his secret for so long, which may imply
that her memories are returned by this point.
- Jimmy is transported to Metropolis General, and Chloe refers him as
her husband.
- A teenage admirer fakes a fall so Clark will rescue her.
UPDATED 11/14/08: Title Revealed.
- This is the episode that Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello
revealed would feature the return of Tori Spelling as Linda Lake (from
the episode "Hydro")
- E! Online's Watch With Kristin also intimated a rumor of something
that seems to be coming to fruition - Clark will reveal his secret to
the world. How's he going to get out of that one? Who knows...
- Lois Lane (Erica Durance) returns in this episode.
- Aaron Ashmore (Jimmy), Cassidy Freeman (Tess), and Justin Hartley
(Oliver) do not appear in this episode.
Episode #8-16: "Turbulence"
Written By: Al Septien & Turi Meyer
Directed By: Kevin Fair
UPDATED 1/18/09: Clark tells Chloe that his recent "brush with
celebrity" (in "Infamous") might mean that having a "double identity"
isn't such a bad idea after all. The red-and-blue combo might just be
saved for those occasions.
- Davis tells Chloe that she can't blame herself for what happened on
her wedding day.
UPDATED 12/8/08: "Turbulence" as a title refers to interactions between
Clark and Tess on Oliver's jet as well as turbulence associated with
Jimmy's return from his coma.
- Tess takes Clark out of town with her to an important press conference
in another city.
- Clark tries to find out from Tess how much Lex had actually told her
about him.
- Jimmy reacts violently seeing Davis and has an angry outburst towards
Chloe.
- Davis visits a cathedral where he confesses that he has hurt people
that he cares about.
UPDATED 12/5/08: Title Revealed. Please do not repost this on other
websites without a link to KryptonSite.com.
- Contrary to the rumored director's list posted on Rumorville, this
episode is NOT directed by Tom Welling. Perhaps he's doing a different
one later.
- Aaron Ashmore returns in this episode as Jimmy Olsen, but Erica
Durance (Lois) and Justin Hartley (Oliver) do not appear.
Episode #8-17: "Hex"
Written By: Bryan Q. Miller
Directed By: Tom Welling
Guest Stars: Serinda Swan (Zatanna)
Episode #8-18: "Eternal"
UPDATED 2/3/09: Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello posted the
following spoiler for "Stiletto," even though the harboring actually
begins in episode #8-18: "Chloe willingly begins harboring a fugitive
whose name rhymes with Broomsday. (Second hint: He turned her wedding
day into a low-budget Cloverfield.) And being the dutiful hostess that
she is, she even throws in free meals. Wait 'till you see what, er, who
she serves for dinner on Day One." (The "feeding" may occur in #8-19,
though Sam Witwer does not appear in that one).
Episode #8-19: "Stiletto"
UPDATED 1/27/09: Title Posted. Please do not repost this on other
webstes without a link to KryptonSite.com.
More Spoilers
UPDATED 1/27/09: The marriage between Chloe and Jimmy might not be long
for the world as they face some major challenges upon his return.
UPDATED 1/23/09: Something really exciting should be coming somewhere
between episodes #20 and #21. All we know is that it will be a big deal
for the show's longtime fans, and as far as we know, sadly, it's not
"the return of Lex Luthor" but still something just as cool.
Their chemistry is charging ful
speed ahead, but let's face it, their insecure walls are getting in the
way."
UPDATED 12/3/08: TV Guide magazine has confirmed that the Toyman from
Superman comics will be appearing. This may happen in episode #8-14,
though it could happen at another time - no specific episode was named
aside from it airing in "early February."
- Another assemblage of the Justice League may come before season's end.
UPDATED FALL 2008: Kristin Kreuk (Lana) will be back for five episodes.
Currently, those episodes comprise episodes #10-14.
UPDATED 9/11/08: Erica Durance will be in more than 13 episodes this
season.
UPDATED 5/15/08: Phil Morris will be returning as the Martian Manhunter
for at least 3 episodes in Season 8, and James Marsters has expressed
interest in more appearances as Brainiac.
UPDATED 5/8/08: Details on the new characters for Season 8!
UPDATED 5/1/08: Michael Rosenbaum will not be returning as a series
regular for Season 8.

girl Chloe a wish. Having been through the wringer ever since Brainiac mind-boinked
her and Doomsday crashed her wedding day, Chloe expresses a desire to lead
