Williams’ Airs Wednesday, Oct. 20 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC ABC
News’ “Superstar” series will profile Robin Williams, one of the world’s
most beloved and inventive comedians. The new episode recounts his life
through Williams’ own voice, describing “the spark of madness” which defined
his life. From his early days in the San Francisco Bay Area comedy scene to
his meteoric rise on “Mork & Mindy,” the one-hour special explores the
experiences that made Williams into a one-of-a-kind talent and reveals what
gave voice to the characters in his mind. It also chronicles the creative
force driving critically acclaimed films like “Good Will Hunting” and “Dead
Poets Society,” as well as fan favorites such as “Aladdin.” The special
explores his personal struggles, including substance abuse and depression,
and his battle with Lewy Body Dementia before his tragic death in 2014.
“Superstar: Robin Williams” features interviews with famous comedians and
actors who knew and admired Williams, including Margaret Cho, Howie Mandel,
Lewis Black, Jimmie Walker, Paula Poundstone, Gina Hecht and Pauly Shore, as
well as Barry Levinson, director of multiple films starring Williams
including “Good Morning, Vietnam.” The program also contains interviews with
Williams from the ABC News archives, in which he opens up about his life and
the highs and lows of his distinguished career. “Superstar: Robin Williams”
airs Wednesday, Oct. 20 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC.

Fairchild (ex-Sydney, THE CITY et al) has been
tapped to play Anjelica Deveraux on DAYS and
will begin airing this summer. “I was thrilled
to get to work with great folks like Deidre Hall
[Marlena] and Judi Evans [Adrienne] on an iconic
show like DAYS OF OUR LIVES,” she tells Digest
exclusively. “What a joy and what fun to come
into work each day! We had a great time, I now
have 2 new best friends and I hope the audience
loves our storyline!”

Lead Actor in a Comedy Series” (for Williams)
during its first season. MORK & MINDY: THE
COMPLETE SERIES includes the show’s fourth
season, never-before-released on DVD, a favorite
for many fans as it includes unforgettable
performances from legendary comedian and
Williams’ idol, Jonathan Winters. MORK & MINDY:
THE FOURTH SEASON will also be released

In addition to all four seasons being restored,
both releases will include the two episodes from
the TV series Happy Days, which “hatched” the
Mork character.
“The manic brilliance of Robin Williams was a
gift that the world enjoyed for nearly 40

“We hope this commemoration of one of our first
glimpses into that genius can be a significant
part of the many tributes to his legacy.”
The story centers on Mork (Williams), a clueless
but good-hearted alien, who is sent from his
home planet of Ork to Earth in order to learn
about humans. His ship lands near Boulder,
Colorado, where he is befriended by Mindy (Dawber)
who puts Mork up in her attic while he learns
about human foibles and makes nightly reports to
his boss Orson about his discoveries.
Written to accommodate Williams’ improvised
dialogue and physical comedy, Mork & Mindy
featured numerous noteworthy guest stars
including John Larroquette, William Shatner,
Paul Reubens, Barbara Billingsley, Roddy
McDowall, Raquel Welch, Henry Winkler, Penny
Marshall and David Letterman, among others. It
aired from 1978-1982.
The 15-disc DVD collection includes all four
seasons with 95 restored episodes, andwill be
available in 4x3 Full Screen Format with English
Mono. MORK & MINDY:
THE COMPLETE SERIES will be available for the

From People Magazine: Robin Williams, who died
Monday at the age of 63 of an apparent suicide,
posted his last Instagram two weeks ago
featuring a sentimental photo of the comedian
and his daughter, Zelda, as a baby.
The post was commemorating her 25th birthday on
July 31.
"#tbt and Happy Birthday to Ms. Zelda Rae
Williams!" he wrote in the caption. "Quarter of
a century old today but always my baby girl.
Happy Birthday @zeldawilliams Love you!"
The Crazy Ones actor was in talks to reprise his
role in the sequel for the popular '90s film
Mrs. Doubtfire and was working on another
installment of the Night at the Museum series.
"This morning, I lost my husband and my best
friend, while the world lost one of its most
beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am
utterly heartbroken," his wife Susan Schneider
said in a statement.
"On behalf of Robin's family, we are asking for
privacy during our time of profound grief. As he
is remembered, it is our hope the focus will not
be on Robin's death, but on the countless
moments of joy and laughter he gave to
millions."

PAM DAWBER TO REUNITE WITH ROBIN WILLIAMS IN
AN UPCOMING EPISODE OF “THE CRAZY ONES”
LOS ANGELES – Jan. 24, 2014 – Pam Dawber will
reunite with Robin Williams three decades after
the series finale of their hit sitcom, “Mork and
Mindy,” when she guest stars on an episode of
THE CRAZY ONES to be broadcast later this
season. In the episode, Dawber plays a
free-spirited author who goes on a date with
Williams’ Simon Roberts soon after his faith in
everlasting love is shaken by the break-up of a
couple near and dear to him.
"It will be a joy to work with her again," said
Robin Williams. "It's a dream come true."
"I'm so excited to be able to see and work with
Robin again," said Dawber. "I hear THE CRAZY
ONES’ set is a very happy one. I know it'll be a
great week!"
THE CRAZY ONES airs Thursdays (9:01 – 9:31 PM
ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.
