Zuiker Pitches ‘Jax And Amber’
CSI Files previously reported that CSI creator Anthony Zuiker was working on a scripted series for CBS called Cyber Crimes, which will be about a fictional government agency that sets out to bring technological offenders to justice. Thanks to his first-look deal with the network, Zuiker is also planning another new series called Jax and Amber. CBS has given a script order for the series, which will be based around two female detectives with a unique insight into solving crimes. CSI franchise veteran Elizabeth Devine will write for the show, and she will serve as executive producer along with Zuiker and Deran Sarafian. If Jax and Amber goes to pilot, Sarafian will be the show’s director

Miller joins `CSI: Miami' team as art theft whiz
(AP) – Sep 28, 2009
LOS ANGELES — Omar Miller of "Miracle at St. Anna" and "8 Mile" is joining the "CSI: Miami" team.
Miller will play Walter Simmons, a Louisiana native and art theft specialist. His debut on the CBS crime drama comes in the Monday, Oct. 5, episode airing at 10 p.m. EDT.
Miller played Pfc. Sam Train in Spike Lee's World War II film "Miracle at St. Anna" and Sol George in "8 Mile."
