North Carolina and centers on popular gym

friends. Potts will play her fun-loving, needy

NBC ORDERS 13 EPISODES OF NEW TINA FEY, ROBERT
CARLOCK COMEDY STARRING ELLIE KEMPER
‘30 Rock’ Executive Producers Reteam With
Network on Singlecam Series to Debut in Fall
2014
UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – October 31, 2013 – NBC
has ordered 13 episodes of a new singlecam
comedy from multiple Emmy Award winners Tina Fey
and Robert Carlock. Ellie Kemper is set to star.
Produced by Universal Television and Little
Stranger, Inc., and set to debut in fall 2014,
the series will center on a woman (Kemper) who
escapes from a doomsday cult and starts life
over in New York City.
“We have been lucky enough to work at NBC for
our entire careers (except when Robert worked at
‘The Dana Carvey Show,’ now available on DVD)
and we thank Bob and Jen for their continued
support.” said Fey and Carlock.
“Tina and Robert, who cemented their partnership
on ‘30 Rock,’ have created a new signature
comedy for us that is audacious, emotional, and
clever,” said Robert Greenblatt, Chairman, NBC
Entertainment. “While tapping into very
relatable themes, there isn’t anything like this
anywhere else on television. NBC has been their
home for many years and we’re so happy that
they’ve found another way to push the comedy
envelope for us.”
Added Jennifer Salke, President, NBC
Entertainment: “Original voices like Tina and
Robert don’t come along very often and we wanted
them back on the air as soon as possible. And to
have them working with Ellie Kemper — who we
watched grow up on ‘The Office’ from supporting
player to leading actress — puts the whole
package together. We feel fortunate to be in
business with this entire creative team on
something so funny, unique, and
attention-getting.”
Fey and Carlock, who will serve as writers for
the series, will executive produce with David
Miner.
Fey, who created and executive produced the
critically beloved NBC comedy “30 Rock,”
recently won an Emmy, along with Tracey Wigfield,
for co-writing the series finale episode, “Last
Lunch.” As an actress, writer and executive
producer on both “30 Rock” and “Saturday Night
Live,” Fey has won eight Emmys.
Carlock, who executive produced “30 Rock” for
all seven seasons, has won three Emmys. He was
also a writer on iconic TV series “Saturday
Night Live” and “Friends.”
Kemper is also an NBC alum, having co-starred in
the Emmy-winning comedy “The Office.” She has
been nominated for four Screen Actors Guild
Awards for her role in the series, and was also
nominated for a SAG Award as a co-star in the
feature-film hit “Bridesmaids.”

Jack McBrayer Opens Up About the Series
Finale of '30 Rock'
We hope you are well! The "30 Rock" series
finale airs tomorrow, and Comcast's Xfinity TV
got a chance to sit down with Jack McBrayer to
talk about the end of the show, his final days
of shooting and his fondest memories. In the
interview, Jack reflects on all of the things he
wants to remember from his last days on set: the
last time he heard Alec Baldwin yelling about
how hot the studio was, the last time Jane
Krakowski cried over her wardrobe, and even his
last Kenneth the Page haircut.
In the interview, Jack also opens up about
shooting his final scene and the mementos he
received from a goody bag of props (including an
NBC page jacket). Jack jokes, "It was a nice
little piece of Kenneth memorabilia. Plus, I can
wear it to my job interviews at several
restaurants in town. I do hope my path will
cross again with everyone I worked with on '30
Rock' but I could use the jacket to look good
when I'm clearing away Jane Krakowsi's martini
glass."
The interview also features a list of the top 10
Kenneth episodes that Xfinity TV customers can
watch with Xfinity Streampix.

Quotes: On his "30 Rock" experience:
Tracy Morgan: "Seven seasons...I enjoyed working
with all the people on there...Tina, Alec, Jane,
Jack, Judah, Grizz and Dot Com. It was so real.
Towards the end...things start to flash before
you---the refrigerator that was in craft
service, the grip that was there from the
beginning....when we ended [there
were]...[over]...40... people...[who started
when the show began]... that stayed, and that
was what was awesome about that show. Because
usually people go their own way during the year,
but we had [over] 40 people, [including] grips
and cameramen, that were there from day one. I
remember doing the pilot and the very first day
the director said action."
SiriusXM NFL Radio host Adam Schein: "How do you
guys keep a straight face during [filming]? The
writing is so brilliant...[and] hysterical."
Tracy Morgan: "You got to play it straight, man.
I learned that from Will Ferrell being on SNL.
Play it straight, man. That's [what's] funny.
Those writers on 30 Rock never ran out of ideas.
We could have gone another seven seasons...they
conspired...at night to make...people laugh. And
they came up with a great cast, and we all got
along, so it was all chemistry. You can have a
team full of talent, but if you don't have Phil
[Jackson] there to make it gel, you don't win
six championships in Chicago."

to have a cheat sheet where I know what size all
celebrities will be so I can be prepared" Alec
on the Oscar-nominated Amour: "I loved Amour...
and I love Trintignant who is a great leading
man. I mean Trintignant to me is like the Colin
Firth-- so elegant and urbane and so smart and
so handsome. I idolize Colin Firth, he is a guy
out there now who I really, really love. I loved
King's Speech." Alec on not attending Golden

NBC WILL DEBUT NEW DRAMA ‘DO NO HARM’ ON
JANUARY 31 ON SAME NIGHT AS SERIES FINALE OF '30
ROCK'
“Rock Center with Brian Williams” Will Move to
Fridays Beginning February 8 (10-11 p.m. ET)
Following “Dateline NBC”
UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – November 30, 2012 – NBC
will premiere the new drama “Do No Harm” on
Thursday, January 31 (10-11 p.m. ET) following
the hour-long series finale of the Emmy
Award-winning “30 Rock” (8-9 p.m. ET) earlier
that same night. In addition, “Rock Center with
Brian Williams” will move to Fridays beginning
February 8 (10-11 p.m. ET) following “Dateline
NBC” (9-10 p.m. ET).
The announcements were made today by Robert
Greenblatt, Chairman, NBC Entertainment.
“January 31 will be a special night as one
classic series will mark its finale with a great
hour-long sendoff episode while a promising new
drama will make its debut on Thursdays,” said
Greenblatt. “‘30 Rock’ is acclaimed as a
legendary comedy and we will see a truly
memorable and fitting last episode. In ‘Do No
Harm,’ viewers will have a unique new dramatic
storyline with an exciting new star in Steven
Pasquale that takes them into dark and uncharted
territory.”
Details of the finale of “30 Rock” will be
provided later.
“Grimm” will return to the schedule on Friday,
March 8 (9-10 p.m. ET).
In “Do No Harm,” Dr. Jason Cole (Steven
Pasquale, "Rescue Me") is a highly respected
neurosurgeon who has it all – a lucrative
career, confident charm, the gift of compassion.
But he also has a deep, dark secret. One morning
when he wakes up disoriented in a wrecked hotel
room amidst several near-naked women he's never
seen before, he knows one thing: it's happening
again. Every night at the same hour, something
inside Jason changes, leaving him almost
unrecognizable – seductive, devious, borderline
sociopathic.
This new man is his dangerous alternate
personality who goes by the name of “Ian Price.”
For years he's battled Ian, keeping him in check
with a powerful experimental sedative. But now
his – their – body has developed a resistance to
the serum, setting Ian free once again. And to
make matters worse, after being suppressed for
so long, Ian's hell-bent on taking revenge on
his oppressor. With everyone Jason cares about
at risk – patients, friends, co-workers and even
the woman he loves – he's got to stop Ian once
and for all. Will they find some common ground,
or will they bring each other down? Hell hath no
fury like an alter ego scorned.
Also starring are Alana De La Garza ("Law &
Order"), Michael Esper ("A Beautiful Mind"),
Ruta Gedmintas ("The Borgias") and Phylicia
Rashad ("The Cosby Show"). "Do No Harm" is
produced by Universal Television and Traugott
Company. The executive producer/writer is David
Schulner ("Desperate Housewives," "The Event").
Peter Traugott ("Ringer") and Rachel Kaplan
("Ringer") also are executive producers. Michael
Mayer (NBC's "Smash") is the co-executive
producer and director.
In its seventh season, the critically acclaimed
and multiple award-winning comedy series "30
Rock" is told through the comedic voice of Emmy
and two-time Golden Globe winner Tina Fey as
variety show producer Liz Lemon. The series also
features two-time Emmy and three-time Golden
Globe winner Alec Baldwin as top network
executive Jack Donaghy and Emmy nominee Tracy
Morgan as Tracy Jordan, the unpredictable star
of Lemon’s variety show, "TGS with Tracy
Jordan." Lemon constantly has her hands full,
juggling corporate interference from Donaghy and
off-the-handle star antics from Jordan, all
while attempting to salvage her own personal
life. Also rounding out the cast are three-time
Emmy nominee Jane Krakowski as Jenna Maroney,
the co-star of "TGS"; Scott Adsit as the variety
show's producer Pete Hornberger; Emmy nominee
Jack McBrayer as Kenneth, the over-eager NBC
page; Judah Friedlander as Frank, the sardonic
slacker on the writing staff; and Keith Powell
as Toofer, the sophisticated yet sarcastic
writer.
Overall, "30 Rock" has garnered 90 Emmy
nominations, resulting in 14 wins. In 2009, the
show won its third consecutive Emmy for
Outstanding Comedy Series and also held the
record for most comedy program Emmy nominations
in a single year with 22 nominations. "30 Rock"
has also won a Golden Globe for Best Television
Series Comedy or Musical, a Screen Actor’s Guild
Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble
in a Comedy Series, three Producers Guild Danny
Thomas Producer of the Year Awards in Comedy
Episodic Television and three Writers Guild
Awards (WGA) for Writing for a Comedy Series and
three WGA Awards for Episodic Comedy, among
others.
"30 Rock" is from Broadway Video & Little
Stranger, Inc. in association with Universal
Television. The executive producers are Lorne
Michaels ("Saturday Night Live"), Tina Fey,
David Miner, Marci Klein ("Saturday Night
Live"), Robert Carlock ("Friends"), Jeff
Richmond and Jack Burditt.

From TVGUIDE.com: Exclusive: Community's
Donald Glover Develops New Sitcom at NBC
It looks like Donald Glover will be engaging in
some extracurricular work outside of Greendale
Community College. The Community star, who plays
former high school quarterback-turned-air
conditioning repair annex recruit Troy Barnes,
is developing a new show for NBC with 30 Rock
co-executive producer Matt Hubbard.
The new sitcom is being developed as a starring
vehicle for Glover. NBC is said to be committed
to the project, and is close to sealing a deal
for a put pilot (with a large penalty fee if it
doesn't move forward) for the show, which would
be loosely based on Glover's life.
But have no fear, fans of "Troy and Abed in the
Morning": Glover is still committed to a fourth
season of Community, and any new project would
be considered "in second position." That's good
enough news to break out the "no-no juice."
Glover worked as a writer on 30 Rock along with
Hubbard before moving in front of the camera.
Besides Community, the star headlined the Comedy
Central stand-up special Donald Glover: Weirdo
and was also a writer and cast member on the
indie movie Mystery Team. Additionally, the
actor has cultivated a hip-hop career with his
alter ego Childish Gambino.
NBC has also been high on Hubbard, who won the
Emmy Award in 2009 for outstanding comedy
writing (for 30 Rock) and was nominated again in
2010 and 2011. His credits also include Ed.
Peter Traugott and Rachel Kaplan are also
executive producers on the Glover comedy
project. Universal Television is the studio
behind the project. The show is seen as a big
get for NBC, particularly given Hubbard's and
Glover's pedigree.
Community returns to NBC on Friday, October 19,
at 8:30/7:30c; while the final season of 30 Rock
kicks off on Thursday, October 4, at 8/7c.
Olympian Ryan Lochte to Cameo on 30 Rock's
Final Season
Ryan Lochte is on the move — from 90210 to 30
Rock, for a cameo on the NBC comedy's upcoming
seventh and final season, New York Magazine
reports.
Lochte, 28, who won five medals at the 2012
London Olympics and drew headlines after a
controversial comment from his mother, was set
to film the secret role this week. 30 Rock
writer Jack Burditt tweeted a picture of Lochte
with creator, executive producer and star Tina
Fey.
Lochte has already filmed a guest-starring role
on the Oct. 29 episode of 90210 and he is also
set to contribute to E! News's fashion week
coverage. He joins previously announced 30 Rock
guests Bryan Cranston and Catherine O'Hara.
The final season of 30 Rock premieres on
Thursday, Oct. 4 at 8/7c on NBC.
Amy Poehler and Will Arnett Separating After
9 Years of Marriage
Poehler, 40, and Arnett, 42, married in August
2003. They are parents to Archie, 3, and Abel,
2.
They shared the screen in several film and TV
projects including Poehler's series, Parks and
Recreation, Arnett's former sitcom, Arrested
Development, and on the big screen, Blades of
Glory and Horton Hears a Who!
This was the first marriage for Poehler. Arnett
was previously married to Penelope Ann Miller
for one year from 1994-1995.
Both sitcom stars are nominated for Emmys.
Poelher grabbed two nods, for Outstanding Lead
Actress in a Comedy Series and Outstanding
Writing for a Comedy Series each for Parks.
Arnett, who currently stars on Up All Night, is
nominated for Outstanding Guest Actor in a
Comedy Series for his performance on 30 Rock as
Jack's arch-nemesis Devon Banks.
30 Rock's Keith Powell Engaged to Jill Knox
30 Rock star Keith Powell is engaged to his
girlfriend Jill Knox, US Magazine reports.
Best known for playing Toofer on the NBC comedy,
Powell proposed to Knox during a picnic in the
Hollywood Hills, complete with bystanders ready

The couple have been dating for three years.
From digitalspy.com: '30 Rock' Alec Baldwin
'wanted to stick a knife in TMZ founder'
Alec Baldwin has admitted that at one point he
wanted to "kill" TMZ founder Harvey Levin.
The news outlet famously published an angry
voicemail Baldwin left for his daughter Ireland
in 2006, in which he branded her a "a
thoughtless little pig".
Baldwin reflected on his fury over the scandal
in a newly published interview with Vanity Fair.
"I wanted to stick a knife in [TMZ founder
Levin] and gut him and kill him," the 30 Rock
star recalled. "I wanted him to die breathing
his last breath looking into my eyes."
The star also admitted to dreaming of attacking
his ex-wife Kim Basinger's lawyer "with a
baseball bat" at the time.
Baldwin went on to acknowledge that time has led
him to realize that he has acted "unreasonably"
and "childishly" from time to time.
"Hollywood does draw some very strange
characters, and then the power of Hollywood and
what they can do with it becomes like a blood
sport to them," he explained.
Baldwin recently quit Twitter, soon after a
scuffle with a photographer who was bothering
his New York City neighbor.

'30 Rock' star Scott Adsit "sad" about final
season
Scott Adsit has admitted he is "sad" that 30
Rock will end next season.
The actor told The AV Club that playing Pete
Hornberger has been the defining role of his
career.
"Obviously I'm sad [the show is ending], because
this is the best job I've ever had," Adsit
explained.
He went on to say: "It's a life-changing job
I've had. So I'm not looking forward to being
set adrift, but hopefully there will be
something on the horizon."
30 Rock is to wrap with a 13-episode seventh
season, including a one-hour series finale.
Tina Fey said earlier in the week that the
timing is right to end 30 Rock.
"Things do end, and you want them to end when
we're running through the finish line and not
limping to it, and not vomiting or pooping
ourselves," Fey explained.
30 Rock exec Robert Carlock has said that he
would love for Michael Sheen and Will Arnett to
return for the sitcom's final episodes.

Alec Baldwin, fiancée Hilaria Thomas 'to
marry June 30'
Baldwin and Thomas are apparently planning to
tie the knot in a Catholic ceremony in New York
City's famous Basilica of St Patrick's Old
Cathedral, reports Page Six.
The Basilica of St Patrick's Old Cathedral was
immortalized in a famous scene from The
Godfather where Michael Corleone (Al Pacino)
attended his son's baptism while the family's
enemies were murdered.
Baldwin and Thomas's engagement was announced in
April, nearly eight months after the pair were
first linked in the press.
The 30 Rock star was previously married to Kim
Basinger from 1993 to 2001.
Baldwin's spokesperson declined to offer any
comment on the wedding speculation.
Tina Fey on '30 Rock' end: 'You want to
leave at the right time'
Tina Fey has suggested that the time is right
for 30 Rock to end.
NBC chief Robert Greenblatt announced in May
that the comedy's seventh season would be its
last.
"Things do end, and you want them to end when
we're running through the finish line and not
limping to it, and not vomiting or pooping
ourselves," Fey told the Los Angeles Times.
However, the actress - who plays Liz Lemon -
admitted that she will struggle to leave 30 Rock
behind.
"You have to muster the maturity to leave it,"
she said. "But we're all going to be a mess."
30 Rock will conclude with a special hour-long
series finale, Greenblatt has also confirmed.
"I know Tina, Alec Baldwin and the rest [of the
cast] will deliver some of their best work," he
said. "We think the world of Tina."
30 Rock will return to NBC this fall on
Thursdays at 8/7c. The series airs on Comedy
Central in the UK.

'30 Rock' to receive one-hour final episode
30 Rock will be given a one-hour series finale,
NBC has confirmed.
It was announced at yesterday's (May 14) upfront
presentation that the forthcoming seventh season
of the Tina Fey sitcom will be its last.
NBC entertainment chief Robert Greenblatt also
confirmed that the final ever episode will be
extended to 60 minutes.
"I know Tina, Alec Baldwin and the rest [of the
cast] will deliver some of their best work," TV
Line quotes him as saying. "We think the world
of Tina."
There had been confusion over the future of 30
Rock when NBC backtracked on its initial claim
that the show would conclude after seven
seasons.

walk-on role on her favorite show --NBC's 30 Rock! Reinecke, a registered
nurse, was chosen randomly out of thousands of entries that were received
during last summer's sweepstakes. Having never won a sweepstakes before,
Reinecke was extremely excited about the opportunity for the chance to be
on set of NBC's 30 Rock. Winning the sweepstakes also included a Universal
Orlando Resort vacation and tickets to a Universal Pictures Premiere and
after-party- a trip to remember!
