IMDB Tv LEVERAGE: REDEMPTION - Friday, July 9 Redemption
will premiere Friday, July 9 exclusively on IMDb TV, Amazon's premium free
streaming service. The crime drama will debut with eight new episodes this
summer followed by an additional eight episodes in the fall. In this new
iteration, and new world, the Leverage crew have watched as the rich and
powerful continue to take what they want without consequence. Grifter Sophie
Devereaux (Gina Bellman), thief Parker (Beth Riesgraf), hitter Eliot Spencer
(Christian Kane), and hacker Alec Hardison (Aldis Hodge) have watched the world
change over the last eight years. Since their last job, it's become easier - and
sometimes legal - for the rich to become richer and the powerful to squash
anyone who gets in their way. To address the changes in the world around them,
the team finds new blood in Harry Wilson (Noah Wyle), a corporate lawyer who is
looking for redemption after realizing he'd been sitting on the wrong side of
the table for his entire career, and Breanna Casey (Aleyse Shannon), Hardison's
foster sister who has a knack for computers, robotics, and getting into trouble.

Last night's Season 5 Christmas finale was the series finale for TNT's hit show LEVERAGE. As the series end was one of Yahoo's Top 10 trending topics
over the holidays, the finale has hit fans hard.
Executive producer for the fan-favorite heist and con series, Dean Devlin:
The Long Goodbye is our final goodbye.
It has been decided today that this Tuesday's episode of Leverage "The
Long Goodbye Job" will be the series finale as TNT has decided not to
renew the show for a sixth season.
I want to take the opportunity to thank TNT for five amazing seasons and
77 episodes of a show that has been so good to me. I'm incredibly proud
of the show and what we've accomplished. Throughout this journey TNT have
been the most amazing partners. Their support and collaboration I will
cherish forever.
I also want to thank everyone involved in making the show. Tim, Gina,
Beth, Christian and Aldis are the finest ensemble of actors I've ever
worked with. They've become our partners, our friends and our family.
The amazing crew who pulled off miracles every day on our show. Thank you
for everything you've contributed. Your blood and sweat is in every frame
of our series and I'm eternally in your debt.
And, of course, on behalf of everyone involved in the show, thank you to
all the fans who've supported us and the show. You have amazed us all.
We love you and thank you all.
I'm so happy we were able to film the series finale we had always
envisioned and I'm happy we're able to present it on Christmas as our gift
to you. It's a bittersweet goodbye.
Gratefully yours,
Dean Devlin

TV's Favorite Con Artists Prepare to Steal Christmas and More
In Five All-New Episodes of TNT's Leverage Winter Episodes Possibly Marking Series End Begin Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 10
p.m. (ET/PT)
For five years, television's coolest gang of con artists have used their
unique skills to help level the playing field for people whose lives have
been destroyed by the rich and powerful. This winter, things are going to
get personal as TNT's hit series Leverage returns with five brand new
episodes. Academy Award* winner Timothy Hutton stars in this clever and
compelling drama, along with Gina Bellman, Christian Kane, Beth Riesgraf
and Aldis Hodge. Leverage is set to begin its winter run Tuesday, Nov. 27,
at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), following an all-new episode of Rizzoli & Isles.
Leverage focuses on a team of five top-notch specialists out to give
everyday people a helping hand against the machinations of corrupt
bigwigs. Leading the crew is mastermind Nate Ford (Hutton), a former
insurance investigator whose son died when his employer refused to pay for
life-saving surgery. Sophie Devereaux (Bellman) is the team's resident
grifter, a brilliant con artist who shares a long and complicated history
with Nate - both professionally and romantically. Eliot Spencer (Kane)
provides muscle as the team's bone-crunching retrieval specialist with a
passion for gourmet cooking and a soft spot for the underdog. Gadget and
technology wizard Alec Hardison (Hodge) provides the team with everything
from communications and video surveillance to target dossiers and virtual
environments, rarely getting the credit he feels he deserves. And Parker
(Riesgraf) is the team's thief, a slightly off-center charmer who gets
giddy at the thought of rappelling off a building or cracking an
unbreakable safe. With the rallying cry, "Let's go steal a...," Nate and his team set out
each week to tackle corrupt executives, politicians and other big shots by
taking something they hold dear. The team has since "stolen" everything
from an airplane to a baseball stadium. They've even stolen a country. And
this winter, they're going to steal something they've never gone after
before: a man's dreams. Winter will also pit the Leverage crew against the ruthless manager of a
discount store whose tactics threaten not only her employees but also the
town itself. They'll target a corrupt winery owner whose workers are
collapsing. And in a special holiday episode, the team will try to steal
Christmas in order to prevent an unscrupulous toy company CEO from
unleashing a dangerous product into the market. In addition, the team will
once again face their nemesis,
insurance-investigator-turned-InterPOL-agent Jim Sterling (guest star Mark
Sheppard).
With each and every case they handle, Nate, Sophie, Elliott, Hardison and
Parker prove themselves to be more than just a league of extraordinary con
artists. They are a family. But in Leverage's gripping season finale, the
bond that holds this family together could be torn apart permanently with
an extremely risky case involving the death of Nate's son.
Since premiering in 2008, Leverage has been a solid hit, averaging more
than 3.8 million viewers in its fifth season, with 1.4 million adults
18-49 and 1.7 million adults 25-54. Leverage is executive-produced by Dean
Devlin (Independence Day, TNT's The Librarian movie series) and creators
John Rogers (Transformers) and Chris Downey (The King of Queens). The
series is produced for TNT by Devlin's Electric Entertainment.

ION Television Acquires Off-Network Rights to TNT's Top-Rated
Series "Leverage"
Acquisition Marks ION's First Deal With Successful
Independent Producer Dean Devlin and Electric Entertainment NEW YORK, Sept. 7, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ION Television continues to
expand its programming line-up with high-quality content with the
acquisition of the popular TNT drama series, "Leverage" from Electric
Entertainment. The announcement was made today by Brandon Burgess, CEO,
ION Media Networks. ION Television, a top-10 rated network, has licensed
the off-network rights to all seasons of "Leverage." The series will begin
airing on ION Television in summer 2012.
"We're pleased to team up with Dean Devlin's Electric Entertainment,
which has distinguished itself by providing high caliber theatrical

viable partner for cable network productions."
"We are thrilled to join forces with ION Television, one of the largest

million homes in the U.S. will ensure the continuation of the show's

"Leverage" follows a five-person team: a thief, a grifter, a hacker, a
retrieval specialist, and their leader, former insurance investigator
Nathan Ford (Academy Award Winner(R) Timothy Hutton), who use their skills
to right corporate and governmental injustices inflicted on ordinary
citizens. "Leverage," recently picked-up for its fifth season, is

More spoilers about the season premiere: The
gang is helping out the widow of this
businessman who has been missing on a mountain
for a while. She suspects foul play by his
associates. During the episode, Nate and
Sophie agree not to tell anyone they had sex.
They all go to the mountain to look for the guy,
and a lot of his business associates and rivals
are there as well. There is some kind of major
takeover going on. Parker and Eliot go looking
for the missing business guy (played by Daniel
Stoltz) in the snow, and they fall through some
snow and get stranded for a bit. They find the
man, who is dead, and his journal, and a video
of his last moments. Eliot wants to get just out
of there, but Parker convinces him to move the
man's body as well. Sophie and Nate work
on the businessmen to find out the truth.
Hardison performs his usual magic with computers
and gets worried when some of his team go
missing. Nate almost dies but is rescued. It's a
very exciting episode!

The new Leverage episode June 26
is great! Erica Stolz (of "Caprica") has a
guest-starring role. The team is in Alaska to
find a dead body, but also they need to find a
crucial journal that will bring down a big bad
corporation that he worked for. There's great
stuff between Parker and Eliot, and some between
Sophie and Nathan. It's a fun episode, but of
course it has the usual drama as well. Never a
dull moment!

Premier episode TNT Description:
The fourth season of LEVERAGE opens in epic
fashion with “The Long Way Down Job” as the team
heads to the rugged mountains of Alaska to help
a woman whose husband has disappeared, possibly
as a victim of foul play. More than any previous
job, this one will push the LEVERAGE team to the
edge of endurance in one of the world’s harshest
terrains, where a single wrong step could send
them plunging into an almost certain death.
Prior to the Alaska job, the team was laying low
after finally fulfilling their obligation to a
mysterious Italian agent who blackmailed Nate
into hunting down a nefarious financier.
The ordeal seems to have opened up a new side of
Nate, who is more determined than ever to focus
on bringing down bad guys. He is also reluctant
to deal with the uncomfortable dynamic between
him and Sophie after the two wound up in bed
together.
This season on Leverage, the team will face
bigger challenges than ever before. They
will be forced to face the moral ambiguity of
what they do as Nate continues to struggle with
his inner demons. Among their upcoming
jobs, they will target a public relation expert
(guest star Michael Gladis) who protects his
clients by destroying the lives of anyone who
gets to people's grief through a funeral scam; a
big corporation out to bury potato farmers; and
a group trying to kill a World War II veteran
(guest star Danny Glover) who allegedly has a
very rare Van Gogh painting. In addition,
the team will once again face their nemesis,
insurance-investigator-turned-InterPOL-agent Jim
Sterlin (guest star Mark Sheppard). They
will also discover that someone has been spying
on their activities, although the nature of the
culprit's agenda is a myster.
