From tvguide.com: I can't believe that Burn
Notice is almost over! What can you tease about the finale?
—
ADAM: To say almost anything is to say too much, but we're
confident that viewers will walk away satisfied when the final
credits roll. Although Michael's actions provoke a tense stand-off,
his heroics eventually lead to a pretty happy ending. And yes, even
that death that everyone is talking about will give fans more
heart-warming closure than you might expect.
Last week I interviewed Matt Nix (creator and
showrunner), Jeffrey Donovan (Michael) and Bruce Campbell (Sam).
They said that someone would die in the season finale. My guess,
based on this past week's episode, is that it's just Sonya, but not
sure.... they were indicating that it was one of the core
characters, but that might have just been an erroneous assumption on
my part. I'm fairly sure it's not Sam or Jesse because they were
talking about a possible spin-off with those two (not in any
concrete terms, just the possibility of it, and not in a joking
way).
USA Network BURN NOTICE – “Nature of the

Sam and the others don't know where Michael is as
the season starts. They fear he may be dead. He's in some foreign
country, under-cover. The CIA has threatened him into doing a job
for them. His new handler is played by veteran actor Jack Coleman.
He's infiltrating this organization by the bad guy (played by Adrian
Pasdar). His cover is almost blown when his mom accidentally
tells someone that he is working for the CIA. Some British guy who
works with Pasdar snoops around Miami to find out from Michael's
friends where he is. They all see through him except for poor
Mattie. She's fighting for custody of her dead son's kid because his
mom is a junkie. Fi is now with this other guy, a young
attractive latino guy, Carlo, played by Stephen Martines. In the
second episode, Michael returns to Miami but is under strict orders
not to contact his friends or family. He has to listen in on them to
find out what they know to make sure his cover is not blown, but he
ends up saving them. He is obviously in pain when he hears
them talking about him. He has many flashbacks to meeting
Fiona for the first time in Ireland. Sam and the rest set up a
trap to catch this British guy, but he figures it out and takes Fi
hostage instead. Michael and the other save her, but they're not too
happy in some ways to see Mike and that he's been skulking around
and listening in on them.

Social TV: In Burn Notice: First Contact, Michael's flashback story
continues in "Final Offer," Chapter 7 of this award-winning comic book
series. Michael and Fi have now struck a deal with Hannon. Can they
deliver?
7/26 episode short recap (spoilers): The British
secret service wants to take Fi away because of the work she did
with the IRA, so she gets her inmate friend to hide her for a while,
until the British guys leave. Sam helps out Barry, who is being
chased by Fi's former gun-selling friends that Michael and his
friends pissed off in a previous episode. Sam and Barry have
to make a stand from this house against this deadly group of
bad guys. Rebecca tells Michael where Anson will be, so
Michael, Jesse, the CIA lady and Nate go stage a trap in a motel
room. Nate's attempts to help irritate Michael, so he orders him to
go home. Anson slips through their fingers, but Michael
figures out where he is, so he asks Nate to keep an eye on him (He's
near Nate, who is at the airport). Nate takes matters into his own
hands and captures Anson, but then someone shoots Anson and Nate
just as Michael, Jesse, and the CIA arrive. Anson is dead. In a very
sad, heart-breaking scene, Michael cradles his dying brother in his
arms as he life slips away. Then he has to go tell his mom the news.
She slaps Michael, refusing to believe that Nate is dead. At
least, though, Fi gets out of jail in the end and reunites with
Michael, making it a very happy ending in that regard.

Custody-but as Fiona quickly realizes, his offer comes with a price.
Guest stars: Paul Tei, John C. McGinley, Kristanna Loken, Seth
Peterson
Social TV: In Burn Notice: First Contact, Michael and Fiona
infiltrate Hannon's weapons depot, arriving in VERY close quarters.
A "Special Delivery" indeed in Chapter 6," of this award-winning
comic book series.
Fi is jailed and a bad cop from the past (can't
remember his name) interrogates her. He only wants to know about
Michael, but she refuses to implicate him and keeps insisting they
are only friends. He tries to make her believe that Michael died in
an explosion, but she figures out that he is lying. Meanwhile,
Michael chases after Anson. He, Sam and the CIA track him down to
some facility, where Anson kills a bunch of guards and rigs an
explosion. Michael is very obsessed and focused on catching
Anson because he's so angry about Fiona. He even points a gun
at Sam until they get him to come to his senses. Anson gets
away, and Sam almost gets blown up. Anson also sends a psycho
guy after Madeline, but she hides and gets a gun out of the attic.
Michael sends Jesse to help her, and the guy almost shoots Jesse
until Madeline shoots him right through the floor of the attic (that
is one of very many cool scenes in the premiere episode).
Can Michael break Fiona out
of jail and hunt down Anson? The answers to your burning
questions will begin to unfold this week in the two dynamic
premieres.
