"Fringe" is about a special FBI unit that investigates strange deaths that are a result of "fringe science" and are somehow connected to an alternate reality. The lead investigator, Olivia Dunham, works with shady Peter Bishop and his kooky-but-brilliant scientist dad, Walter, to figure everything out and keep people from being hurt. The show is great - similar to The X-Files but even better. The relationship between Olivia, Peter and Walter is as fascinating as the science fiction elements, and Walter is both hilarious and touching. The show was created by J.J. Abrams of "Lost" "Alias" and the "Star Trek" movie fame.
