I really didn't expect to like this movie. I didn't like the series. The few times I watched it, I didn't find it funny, and I thought the women in it were just awful people that I couldn't relate to. Surprisingly, I found myself enjoying the movie. It is a good romantic comedy that anyone, especially women, can enjoy. Even if you've never seen the series, they do a great job of recapping at the beginning. I like the actors in the movie, even if I didn't watch the show, from other work they've done, so I was very pleased to see that the movie was so good. Maybe I'll have to go back and watch some of the show on DVD.

This movie was a big hit, and I can see why. Although the people act a little silly sometimes, they are written as real people and not caricatures. They don't act stupid like in some romcoms. If you haven't seen the movie, you really should. If you are a woman, you will love it. It's very romantic and fun. I really liked the soundtrack, too. I am planning to download it.

I was disappointed that there weren't any bonus features. I guess they will save those for the "Special Edition" that they always come out with later. It's well worth watching, in any case.
