The Looney Tunes Show: Volume Two

 Review by Suzanne Lanoue 12/16/11

These are some fun cartoons, especially for kids. Bugs and Daffy live in the modern world, so today's kids can relate better to them. The dialogue is witty just like the ones we used to watch when we were kids.

Other fun Warner Brothers cartoon characters appear, of course, like Yosemite Sam, Tweety, Sylvester, Wile E. Coyote, Road Runner, and more!

I think even adults will enjoy these cartoons because they are fun to watch. They aren't just like any kids' show. They have jokes adults will like, even if the kids don't quite understand them.

The set will make a good gift for anyone, of any age, for Christmas or any occasion. There are only 4 episodes on the disk, though. Apparently it used to be a series of 7-minute shorts, but now it's a full half hour. There are no extras or features on the set.

More Information:

We are excited about the upcoming DVD release of The Looney Tunes Show Season 1 Volume 2! http://bit.ly/LOONTU2

This half-hour animated comedy series starring Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck is no longer confined to 7-minute shorts. Bugs and Daffy are out of the woods and living in the suburbs among such colorful neighbors as Yosemite Sam, Granny, Tweety and Sylvester. In addition to each episode's main story, The Looney Tunes Show also features "cartoons within a cartoon." The Tasmanian Devil, Speedy Gonzales, Marvin the Martian and other classic characters sing original songs in two-minute music videos called Merrie Melodies . The legendary Looney Tunes cartoons are getting a 21st century relaunch and a CGI overhaul for a new generation
