What Suzanne Watches

I have DISH Networks "The Hopper", so I record a lot of shows to watch at my leisure (with no commercials!). I can record 16 shows at once and up to 5,000 hours! There are many shows I don't have time to watch regularly, so I plan to watch them later. Also, I have a lot on DVD. Yes, there's always a backlog!

I try to watch most of the new shows at least once; check out our reviews.

This changes often as they cancel shows and bring on new ones.

Best shows I watch: "Legion" (FX), "The Americans" (FX), "Once Upon a Time" (ABC), "Sherlock" (PBS), "Real Time with Bill Maher" (HBO), "Longmire" (Netflix), "Gotham" (FOX), "Daredevil" (Netflix), "Bosch" (Amazon), "12 Monkeys" (Syfy), "Last Week with John Oliver" (HBO), "Red Oaks" (Amazon), "The Sinner" (USA Network), "Outcast" (Starz), "Westworld" (HBO), "Curb Your Enthusiasm" (HBO), and "Unreal" (Lifetime).

Other shows I watch regularly and I'm caught up on:  "Arrow "(The CW), "Supergirl" (The CW), "Supernatural" (The CW), "The Big Bang Theory" (CBS), "Doctor Who" (BBC America), "Family Guy" (FOX), "Elementary" (CBS), "Major Crimes" (TNT), "The Flash" (The CW), "Life In Pieces" (CBS), "The 100" (The CW), "Jessica Jones" (Netflix), "Luke Cage" (Netflix), "The Defenders," "Iron Fist," "D.C.'s Legends of Tomorrow" (The CW) "Full Frontal with Samantha Bee" (TBS) "The Shannara Chronicles" (MTV), "Bold & The Beautiful" (CBS), "Grantchester" (PBS), "The Jim Jefferies Show" (Comedy Central), "Brockmire" (IFC), "The Daily Show" (Comedy Central), "Blind Spot" (NBC), "Suits" (USA), "The Good Place" (NBC), "How to Get Away with Murder" (ABC), "Liar" (Sundance), "Tin Star" (Amazon), "Midnight Texas" (NBC), "The Tick" (Amazon), "Marvel's Inhumans" (ABC), "The Gifted" (FOX), "Big Little Lies" (HBO), "Will & Grace" (NBC), "13 Reasons Why" (Netflix), "I Love Dick" (Amazon), "Room 104" (HBO), "Con Man" (Syfy), and "Battle of the Network Stars" (ABC).

I'm slightly behind on watching "Star Trek: Discovery" on CBS All Access.

Shows that I also like, but I'm very behind on: "The Good Fight" (CBS All Access), "General Hospital," "Stranger Things" (Netflix), "Archer" (FX),  "The Exorcist" (FOX), "Midnight Diner" (Netflix), "Van Helsing" (Syfy), "Westworld" (HBO) "South Park" (Comedy Central)  "Greenleaf" (OWN) "The Librarians" (TNT), "Queen Sugar" (OWN), "Humans" (AMC), "Fargo" (FX), "The Originals" (The CW), "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." (ABC), "Outlander" (Starz), "Mr. Robot" (USA), "Twin Peaks" (Showtime), "Lucifer (FOX)," "The X-Files (FOX)," "The Magicians (Syfy)," "The Expanse (Syfy)," "Better Late Than Never" (NBC), "Bull" (CBS),  "Younger" (TVLAND), "Mr. Mercedes" (Audience), "Travelers" (Netflix), "Beyond" (Freeform), "Mary Kills People" (Lifetime), "Victoria" (PBS), "Castlevania" (Netflix), "The Durrells on Corfu" (PBS), "Top of the Lake" (Sundance), and "The Young and The Restless" (CBS). Also, "12 Monkeys," and "The Americans," mentioned above.

Years ago, I decided to stop watching shows that are kind of boring, that I watched out of habit, and not worry about the shows I'm way behind on. Life is too short to watch so much mediocre TV and stress about the shows I don't have time to watch. I'm concentrating on the shows I really really love (mostly scifi) and watching the DVD's that the networks send me to review, and that's it! But it's hard to do that because they keep coming out with more and more great shows that I enjoy.

I only like fiction shows. I rarely watch reality shows, game shows, or talk shows. I do watch some of the political talk show comedies like "The Daily Show," but only because they're funny.
