I am sitting her perplexed. I have been watching AMC since 1976, during good
times and bad.
What I cannot figure out is what TPTB and/or TIIC are thinking. There are many
message
boards besides this one for AMC. I have to believe that TPTB and/or TIIC have
people reading
these boards. They can obviously see what the fans want. Now I understand you
can’t please
everyone, but when there is a strong consensus about a storyline, or about an
actor, why
wouldn’t you modify your work and make the fans happy. Happy fans mean good
ratings.
Networks like good ratings = more advertising = more money.
I need someone out there to answer a question for me. Admittedly I have been FF
many of
the shows recently so perhaps I missed the answer. Asher was born on Halloween,
his mother
Sonia was killed/died on Halloween in the mine explosion. Where was Asher born,
in the
mine? At a hospital and she left him to go to the mine to meet Caleb? Figuring
that Asher is
roughly in his early 20’s, Palmer was in PV at that time, not in Pigeon Hollow.
Also, for Caleb
to be Palmer’s nephew, Palmer would have to have had to have a brother we never knew
about. I
suppose if Caleb stays in PV long enough maybe he has more relatives that will
show up. Also,
am I wrong in thinking that Asher does not know about his mother and Adam? Maybe
he is
Adam’s son, making JR and Colby his ½ sibling. If that is true, kissing Colby is
very icky!
We have done the whole angry kid thing: Kendall, Ethan (Zach’s son), Greenlee,
Marissa etc.
Now we are doing it again with Asher.
When did Marissa and Bianca become so close and why are they paying to have the
actress on
for? Bianca does nothing, she has no story.
I guess Ryan and Greenlee’s trip is so she has time to do "Skating with the
Stars." All the
money he and Greenlee have at their disposal, and they can’t hire someone (like
Tad maybe) to
look for Pearson. Also, if they have evidence of the payments to Pearson from
David’s account, can't they take that evidence to Liza and/or the judge and put the
trial on hold and/or
declare a mistrial till Pearson is found? I have to FF the scenes with Ryan and Greenlee
as they make
me physically ill.
Thank you, Zach, for explaining to Kendall what a bad idea she had driving
Greenlee and Ryan
away with the kids in the car. I am going to miss Zach I did like that while
he was angry at
Kendall, they actually sat down and talked about it. It is true, Zach is an
“island” and Kendall is
a “village.” Zach however thinks through what he does, while Kendall usually acts impulsively.
I have always loved the rapport that TK has had with the children that play
“his boys.” It is
one of the most honest relationships between parent and child on AMC. I don’t
think I am telling tales out of school, but watching the flashback clips of Kendall and
Zach, knowing what
is going to happen, I got very emotional. I am hoping that Kendall finds out she
is pregnant.
Palmer not giving CE to his son Peter makes no sense. Erica seems out of place
running a
company like CE. Are we supposed to believe that Bianca is now in charge of Fusion?
Does Kendall
even do anything with it. How after all the scandals can that company still be
in business?
Maybe if Natalia was not such a bitch, she would have some friends and a
boyfriend. I do
not see why Brot even pursues her anymore. She is just nasty, bossy, and mean. I
still think
that they should have her discover in herself that she is gay and develop a
relationship with
Bianca.
When ABC announced they were moving AMC to LA, it was supposed to improve the
show.
Better HD filming, better sets etc. As far as I can tell, nothing seems to be
better with the
show making that move. We even lost David C., Thorsten K., and Vincent I.
If Opal had taken over running Myrtle’s Boarding House, all these new people in
PV, Griffin and
Asher, plus I believe Jake’s ex will be coming back, would have a place to live
and give Opal something to do other than hang out or constantly be babysitting.
Friday’s scenes between Opal and Asher were terrific. It only shows me how much
Jill Larson is wasted on fill-in scenes. Her welcoming him to the family, trying to get him to talk to Caleb and who his
Great Uncle
Palmer was and what he was trying to do and how he would feel about what is
going on
between Caleb and Asher.
