Let me just start out and say I was not a big fan of the character Jake nor
RPG when he first joined the cast. True he is incredibly handsome, but I never
liked his edge or his pairing with the character Taylor. That all has changed.
I still think he is gorgeous! However, I love his pairing with CS (Amanda).
They finally put two characters together that work. I feel the love; I feel their
pain. I have rooted for them through this whole baby Trevor storyline. I was
completely chocked up when Angie read the DNA results that proved that Jake was
Trevor’s biological father. He deserved that so much. His scenes with that baby
are wonderful. There is a great bond between them. For those of you who have
been watching for many years, like me, I remember the heartache Jake went
through finding out that Colby was not his child. Jake deserves having this
baby, a son, a new Martin.
I also like the relationship between RPG and MEK. Their scenes as brothers are
very realistic and touching.
Tad was very right about what Jake is going to do now that David is no longer
in his life. The history between Jake and David goes way back. Please, readers,
correct me if my memory is faulty, but David came to PV from San Diego, I think
following another doctor he had a relationship with, Allie Doyle. He held her
secret that she cheated on her medical records to get into medical school. David,
I believe, knew Jake from out West as well. David originally tried to
injure Adam in the hospital and got Jake blamed for it. Jake in fact became
engaged to Dr. Allie whom David kept blackmailing until she finally fessed up
to Dr. Joe and left PV in shame.
Does anyone also remember when Jake first came back to PV and hooked up with
Liza who did not know who he was (he had given up medicine to be a handyman?).
Then he returned to medicine, became engaged to Mia Saunders (Liza's half-sister),
became Chief of Staff, then fooled around with a medical student in his
office, and again left PV.
Adam was out of the hospital pretty quick for pacemaker surgery?
Colby is really irritating me. Okay she doesn’t like Annie. She didn’t like
KWAK either. She is such a brat, what Adam does with HIS money is HIS business.
She is not entitled to anything simply because she is his daughter. If she
really wanted her father happy, she would try and accept that Annie makes him
happy. Besides it is not like her father is a saint.
Annie really does love Emma and while she let Emma see Ryan for his birthday,
he never would have done the same.
If it is true that David Canary is leaving in the spring, I would rather see
Annie paired with David over Scott.
Well
that’s about all I have this week.
