I know that most AMC viewers have a huge dislike of Ryan.
I myself am not a fan of the character. Having said that, I
will now admit that lately with him not involved with Erica,
Kendall or Greenlee, I find him much more enjoyable. The
other main reason I am liking him now is because of his
budding friendship with Madison. When he is with her, he is
so much calmer and thoughtful. I liked when he asked her to
go with him to NYC, and he made it a point that she would
have her own room. I would like to see them eventually
become a couple and marry. I even would like Madison to have
a child with him. What intrigues me about their relationship
is that while Ryan is still playing the hero and helping
Madison out, he now knows when to back off when she turns
down his help. I also like that while Madison could easily
take advantage of Ryan and his help, she is really trying to
stand on her own. She clearly likes him but is taking her
time and not just falling into his arms.
I mentioned last week that NuBianca looks the part but there
was something about her that bothered me. I still cannot put
my finger on it. Maybe she is a little too dramatic, I am
not sure that really is it. How do you all feel about the
recast?
I am finding the whole Caleb coming to PV really stupid. I
cannot see him leaving the mountains for PV. He did not even
want the check Jack sent for Erica to rebuild his house. I
know he is supposed to be a thorn in the side of Jack and
Erica’s reunion, but I wish they would retire this storyline
and give both Jack and Erica a mature storyline. I also
cannot see Palmer, no matter how much he cared for Erica,
giving her ½ of his company, over his children.
I do not understand why TPTB kept and relocated actors to LA
and really only use them as props. Opal, Krystal, Frankie,
Randi. They are hardly ever on and then only to prop up
other characters. Yes, we now can see there is going to be
an unfortunate hooking up between Madison and Frankie while
Randi is away.
It is amazing to me that Amanda can just decide she does not
want to go on a planned shoot for Fusion that has been
carefully planned in advance, because she does not want to
be away from her family. To top that off they can just
substitute Randi in her place. Fusion as a company makes no
sense whatsoever.
I would think the FAA investigating Erica’s crash would have
learned from the pilot (if for no other reason than to save
his behind) that it was Erica who insisted the skip the
maintenance check and just fly off. I mean David did have
the plane delayed, but if Miss Kane listened to the pilot,
they would not have taken off and thereby never crashed. I
can’t see that David or Greenlee are responsible for that.
Cooking the books of Fusion, yes, they are totally
accountable for that, but the crash, I don’t think so.
