Random Thoughts

This is the break down of age groups on AMC. When DC leaves, only Erica and
Opal will be the matriarchs.
Erica Opal Adam Brooke Jack
Tad Jesse Angie Kwak Liza David
Jake Amanda Ryan Greenlee JR Marissa Annie Scott Madison
Frankie Natalia Brot Randi
Colby Damon Miguel (?) Max (?)
With DC (Adam) leaving and JM (Palmer) passing away, Zach gone, there will be no
major male heavy hitters on the show. I don’t see WW (Jack) in that role. That
leaves just David and he can wipe the floor with everyone else without breaking
a sweat. As for SL (Erica) if they stopped writing her like she is still a
debutante and more like the mature (not old) experienced women she should be, it
would be a lot better watching her. We got a glimpse this week in her scenes
with David but then she goes to battle against Greenlee which is not only boring
but she needs someone of her level to do battle with. Brooke was always a good
match, but I know JB (Brooke) will not be staying on for too long and she and
Erica really have nothing to battle over at this point in their lives. Erica
against Annie has the same problem. MCE (Annie) can hold her own but she is no
where at the level of Erica in pure bitchiness.
Loved Brooke being back (wait till she and Erica see each other), but I felt
there was a tinge of phoniness that she has been in touch with all these people
since Julia Barr was let go of AMC.
Glad Little Adam finally got a better name, but I knew they would go with AJ,
what else would it be?
I found Angie and Frankie a bit too intense in their scenes this week.
Since Kendall told Erica not to call her unless it was an emergency I guess she
will find out about her best friend and partner coming back from the dead
through TV or some sort of news media. Erica is certainly not going to get in
touch with her.
We all know now that DC is leaving in April. However, I do not like the way he
suddenly is pushing Annie aside in preparation for the marriage to implode.
One last comment. while I have to FF scenes with Marissa in them, JY (JR) is
doing an exceptional job in his story line. His weakness, and trouble breathing,
his whole look and demeanor speak volumes. While the storyline is depressing and
could have become a Soap cliché, he has really pulled it off.
Well, that’s about all for now. Have a great week.
I would love to hear from any of my readers.
