I have been writing this weekly column now for over a 1
½ years now. Those of you who are kind enough to spend a few
moments reading my work know that I am not only a long time
viewer of AMC, but someone who puts a lot of thought on what
I write about the show. Lately, however, it has become
harder some weeks to find something to write about, and I
think I finally understand why. Either the stories they are
presenting have no interest for me, or they keep replaying
the same scenes over and over ad nauseum. For example: How
many times is Tad going to tell someone Damon is a good kid?
How many times will JR and Annie tell each other it can’t
happen again and it was a mistake? How many times can Erica
try to talk Caleb into staying in PV and that it is just
business between them? I believe you get my point.
I find Angie’s vision problem an interesting situation. I
know that David is going to be blamed for this happening to
her. Truthfully though, Angie especially being an Infectious
Disease doctor should have known better than to treat a
patient without precautions. Even on planes, emergency
instructions tell us to put our oxygen masks on first and
then take care of our children or other passengers. I also
find it hard to believe that David would purposely let PV
Hospital go down so substantially in quality. He may want to
cut jobs like axing Jake and Frankie for personal reasons,
but quality of care seems like a real hard sell to me. David
does not seem like he would want to be associated with a
substandard hospital. Unless his ultimate plan is to just
run the hospital into the ground and close it?
I am really liking Ryan now. He is so much calmer and
softer with Madison than with Greenlee or Kendall. However,
our little Greens is now realizing maybe she made a mistake
marrying Dr. Evil and has got Ryan back on the brain. How
quickly did she not only change but get to their hotel in
NYC? Do people have travel transporters?
