In order to keep Paul alive, Barbara agrees to go off with James.
Barbara will see the love in James' face and she will slowly fall
back in love with him. James will agree to help Barbara keep Will
away from Oakdale to avoid the youngster from having to face social
services for him accidentally starting the fire.
Working so close together the last few months, Paul and Bonnie
will fall for each other, causing some problems for Rose. Bonnie
(like her mother Jessica) will be torn against Isaac and Paul.
Alison will continue to lie about the fire but her secret will be
revealed when Lucy recovers from her partial memory loss. After
this, Alison will have to deal with social services, spend some time
in juvenile hall for her actions and Aaron not forgiving her for
starting the fire.

Although Will is responsible for the fire, he will continue to
insist that Aaron started it. Barbara will find out from Will that
he started it, but to protect her son, Barbara will encourage Will
to lie about this. Aaron will spend more time in jail for this crime
that he did not commit.
Carly and Jack's wedding will be interrupted by Julia who holds
her and Jack's baby. After trying to hurt Carly, Julia will be
placed back into the insane asylum and Jack and Carly will raise the
baby.
When James Stenbeck returns to Oakdale, he will reflect back on
his life, what he has accomplished, how many people he has hurt, how
can he change and does he want to change? James will slow down on
his life of crime, try and redeem himself, and in the process he
will attempt to win back Barbara's heart.

In his search for proof that
Marshall is working with his dad (James Stenbeck), Paul will find out
that James plans a return to Oakdale very soon.
James plans to meet up with Barbara. Working so close with Bonnie,
Paul will be drawn to her and they will have a relationship.
Barbara will continue to ignore Hal's requests for joint custody of
Will and do as she pleases. Barbara is doing this to get back at Hal
and the rest of Oakdale. Barbara will attempt to take Will out of the
country.
Although Jessica questions her feelings for Marshall, she will turn
the tables on his as far as the race for District Attorney goes. Since
Marshall is going to play dirty in the race for D.A., Jessica will be
forced to dig up dirt on Marshall's past to tarnish his public image.
Thanks to Aaron, Alison will not end up going to boarding school in
Wisconsin, especially now that she knows Rosanna is behind it. Soon
Aaron will fall for Alison.

Once again, proving what a delicious devil she can be, Barbara's
bitterness will continue to take it's toll on herself, Will and all of
Oakdale. Barbara's battle with Hal for custody of Will will turn ugly,
as Barbara ignores Will's feelings and Hal's good intentions. Soon
Barbara will get some fiendish feedback from James, who helps her out
financially, in exchange for a chunk of BRO and whatever else she will
give him.
Once Sierra returns to Oakdale and hears from Lucy, Carly and Lily about
Craig's recent actions towards Aaron, she will put Craig in his place.
After meeting Aaron, Sierra will realize what Lucy sees in him and that
Aaron is not the bad motorcycle boy as Craig had labeled him. Sierra will
also make Craig rid his restraining order against Aaron.
With Mike out of the way, Craig will resume his relationship with Rosanna,
but he will not totally trust her. Once Molly brings back Mike to
Oakdale, Mike will stir up those old feelings for Rosanna, causing further
friction in her relationship with Craig.

Rosanna will cancel her deal with Barbara to financially back up BRO,
leaving Barbara to seek money elsewhere. Not having much success with
this, Barbara will have no other choice but to seek out her ex-husband
James. Impressed with the knife Barbara stabbed him with in his twisted
way; James will help her financially but continue to push her buttons as
needed.
Initially Hal and Emily's married life will be blissful, but that won't last when Alison and her antics come between them.
Barbara's
custody battle for Will will also cause the newlyweds some hardship.
Barbara will be a constant threat to Emily
Now that Craig has broken up with Rosanna, he will try for a
reconciliation with his ex-wife Sierra, when she comes for a visit to
Oakdale. Sierra will be tempted but she will keep Craig at a distance
when she remembers his cheating ways.

It seems as though Attorney Marshall T. Travers made quite an impression
on Bonnie during the robbery at Java (wasn't he impressive stopping that
robber - obviously Bonnie thought so). This other side of Marshall which
Bonnie was exposed to, will make her fall for him, making her torn between
Marshall and her devoted Isaac. The thought of Bonnie's attraction to
Marshall will cause a great deal of stress to Jessica during Barbara's
trial. This will make Jessica not 100% focused on the trial and may
jeopardize her chances of getting a second term as District Attorney.
Barbara will be found not guilty due to Marshall's unorthodox strategy.
Marshall will prove that the severe burns Barbara suffered from the
explosion caused her emotional break down. Unfortunately, Marshall will
also tell the jury how Barbara's family and good friends like Lisa,
abandoned her at her time of need, forcing Barbara to turn to her
ex-husband James. Granted freedom, Barbara will find herself a lonely
woman, since Marshall proved in court that her friends and family were to
blame for her temporary insanity. James will again use this opportunity
to find his way back into Barbara's life.
Rosanna is finding herself falling in love with Craig, who unfortunately
cannot be faithful to her. When Craig visits his ex-wife Sierra in
Montego, his old feelings for her return and they will become intimate.
Rosanna will find out about Craig's affair with his ex-wife. Still
attracted to Craig, Rosanna will seek out her old love Mike Kassnoff, who
recently returned to Oakdale in search of Molly.
