Olivia Falconeri
Played by Lisa LoCicero
Olivia came to Port Charles in 2008 for her cousin's wedding. Olivia grew up
in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Bensonhurst, along with Kate and Sonny. Kate
went by Connie then. Sonny brought Olivia to town as a surprise for Kate on
their wedding, not realizing that they did not get along very well anymore. Kate
had left the old neighborhood, changed her name, went to college, and completely
reinvented herself. She was a bit ashamed of her poor and ethnic upbringing, and
that bothers Olivia.
Olivia can be very loud and outspoken. She does not back down from a fight,
especially when defending someone. She has also showed that she is capable of
great love.
Kate was shot at her wedding, which brought her and Olivia closer together.
Although Kate was Sonny's girlfriend, it was revealed that Olivia and he had a
one night stand when they were 16. Olivia has a son, Dante. He did not come to
town until 2010. Olivia did not tell anyone that Dante was Sonny's son. Dante
came to town undercover to get evidence against Sonny, not knowing that he was
his father. When Dante tried to arrest Sonny, Sonny shot him. Olivia arrived
just in time to tell Sonny that Dante was his son. They took him to the
hospital. Dante was angry at his mother for a long time for keeping the identity
of his father a secret. Sonny has tried for years to be a real father and make
it all up to Dante. Olivia has been very supportive of Dante's relationship with
Lulu from the start.
Unlike most women, Olivia likes Carly, Sonny's ex-wife, so they have been good
friends. Olivia worked for married couple Carly and Jax at their hotel, but she
was careful to stay out of their arguments. Olivia has also been good friends
with Sonny, despite their rocky history. Olivia still had feelings for Sonny for
a long time.
Olivia started dating and sleeping with Johnny Zacchara in 2009. Johnny is the
son of Anthony, who shot at Kate. The Zaccharas have been big business and
personal rivals of Sonny's. Olivia and Johnny have a sweet relationship, but
things were often rocky for them. Olivia became friends with Steve in late 2010
, and broke up with Johnny after he lied to her and pretended to cheat on her.
Steve treated Olivia when they were both in a bus crash later that year. They
started dating and are still together.
Olivia found out that Steve once killed a man, but she forgave him for lying to
her and understood how it happened. She was not happy when his crazy mother
Heather got out of the mental asylum and moved in with him. Steve's crime was
found out and he's now under arrest, causing both Olivia and Heather to worry.
