The son of Zach Slater and a maid, Hannah Nichols, Ethan was adopted and
raised in England by Edith and Stanley Ramsey. Engaged to be married
to Simone Torres, he died as a result of the Mardi Gras Ball explosion,
caused by Janet Dillon. As he lay dying, he vowed never to forgive his
father for having denied him.
