Twist #9
THE MOST INACCURATE PORTRAYAL OF THE THIRD WORLD EVER SEEN
ON TV
Katherine is hanging out in what appears to be a series of
cardboard tents and patio furniture pretending to be suffering from the
heat. She looks totally unconvincing since she is wearing a new suit and
diamond earrings. A young woman with a bad imitation of an Australian
accent and some old Indian man (I think its the same guy who played Gandhi
last week only he has a new turban) are bringing medical supplies into the
tent which has a painted sign that says World Hunger Organization. The two
try to convince Kay that she should go back to the city because her health
is at risk. Kay doesn't care, becomes melodramatic and says she has been
"to hell and back" and survived, and she is not going anywhere
without Brock. No one looks dirty, sick or hungry so it is hard to believe
this is actually India.
DISTURBED YOUTH OF GENOA CITY
Billy freaks out when his father tells him they are not
going back to New York. He has had enough of the coffee house and the
Dragon Woman, he wants to be back in the center of the action. John has to
discuss this with Jill who has been pouring out her heart to Nina and
getting sloshed in the afternoon.
THE BRASH AND CATTY CORPORATION HIRES AN AD AGENCY
Neil, Ryan, Nick, and Victoria spend the morning looking
at pictures of Victoria. The guy from the ad agency comments afterward on
what a fox she is and how much he is looking forward to working with her.
