Christopher Gerse joined the cast as Will Roberts on September 8, 2003.
He took over the role from Darian Weiss.
Will Roberts was born to Austin Reed and Sami Brady on November 16, 1995.
Will was presumed to be Austin's son until Sami revealed to everyone that
Lucas Roberts, with whom she had a one night stand, was his father.
In summer of 2000, Sami traveled to Italy with Brandon Walker to try and
get custody of Will from Lucas (Lucas, his mom, Kate, and Will were also in
Italy). While they were there, Kate made a fake Will doll, drugged Sami, and
tricked her with it, leading to Sami falling off a cliff. Brandon found her
and saved her, and they went back to a restaurant where Kate and Lucas were.
He pointed the finger at them.
Soon, Will was put into joint custody with Lucas and Sami, even though
they don't get along.
In 2003, Will lost two would-be father figures who Sami was going to
marry: Brandon and Austin.
Will started to get teased at school because his parents were murder
suspects. They are now no longer suspects and he is hoping that they will
finally become a real couple. Sami and Lucas now seem to be spending more
time together and wanting to kiss, which makes Will very happy.
Will seems to be as normal a boy as any child on a soap opera can be.
