Chloe was an outcast which made her a big target for Salem High's
bullies. She was alone and had no one to defend her while growing up. She
moved from foster home to foster home. Her last foster parents were killed
in a car accident, and Chloe ended up in an orphanage until her mother
showed up.
At Salem High, Chloe in her black dress and sunglasses was targeted by
the school's popular crowd. They gave her the name “Ghoul Girl”.
She became friends with Shawn and Belle. It was at the Last Blast Dance
where Chloe changed from ugly duckling to swan, and she quickly captured
Philip’s heart. Jan and Jason planned to dump pigs’ blood on Chloe, but
Shawn saw the bucket just in time and pushing Chloe out of the way it fell
on Philip.
Chloe and Philip became a supercouple. Jan persuaded Mimi to help her to
get Chloe. They hid a camera in the girls’ bathroom and video taped Chloe
naked. Mimi and Jan made slides of the video and opened an internet site
called "Operagirl.net", showing the naked pictures at the Last Blast Dance.
Philip felt insulted and lashed out at Chloe, but she just stood there and
took the awful things he said. This was also the beginning of the end for
Chloe.
Chloe spent more and more time with Brady. Later on, Chloe found out that
she had leukemia and needed a bone marrow transplant. Brady and Chloe went
to look for her biological father, who is under police protection. They
finally tracked down Dr Sykes but it was all ruined by a jealous Philip. Dr
Sykes disappeared again. Philip got Brady arrested and let Chloe believe
that he had left to look for her father.
Philip's scheme came to light and it was finally over between them.
Back home, Chloe got a surprise when she learned that Nancy was pregnant.
A test was done and it was found that the baby would be a perfect match for
Chloe.
Craig did not leave it there and decided to look for Dr Sykes. He found
him and learned that Dr Sykes could not be Chloe's father because he was
sterile. Craig did a paternity test on himself and learned that he was,
indeed, Chloe's father.
Chloe left to pursue her dream of singing. After some time, Chloe decided
to visit Brady and was in a car accident, leaving her face badly scarred.
Afraid that Brady would pity her, she asked her mom to tell Brady that she
was dead. Nicole, who got very close to Brady, learned that Chloe was not
dead.
Brady finally learned that the love of his life was, in fact, very much
alive.
Chloe went through a lot over the years. However, she grew from a person
who believed that she must lookout for herself and not let in love into
remarkable young women. It is really a case of beauty lies within. Chloe
will always see the good in other people and will try to help them.
