DVD Reviews
I enjoyed this "chick flick". It made me chuckle quite a
bit. It starts out as fun and silly, but eventually it
transforms into something that's a little bit more
thoughtful. If you like relationships, you should enjoy this
movie.
A woman, Brea (Troy Beyer), gets dumped by her
groom-to-be, so she kidnaps him. She has two friends who do
the same with their exes. It's all played for comedy, for
the most part. A lot of the movie is told online by Brea and
her friends after she enters an internet chat talk show
where everyone is complaining about their exes.
The movie is not a big budget movie, and sometimes the
script meanders around, but once it gets to a certain point,
things move along well and it's very interesting to see how
this all plays out, and how the couples work out their
problems. I'm really trying hard not to give too much away
because there are several surprises along the way.
Beyer not only stars in the movie but wrote and directed
it as well. Check it out! You can watch it on
Amazon Prime, like I did, or buy the DVD, etc.
The DVD has just one feature: a behind-the-scenes
special. It's too bad there aren't some interviews and other
extras.
