Blue Bloods: The Third Season

 Review by Suzanne Lanoue 9/9/13

This is really a show that I've enjoyed since the first episode of the first season. It's more than just your standard solid CBS show. It's more than a cop show. It's about family, and character.  Every season they come up with new and exciting ways to entertain us. The acting is fantastic, and you have greats like Tom Selleck to liven up the cast. What more could you want? I don't know why they keep putting the show on Fridays because it really does deserve better.

The DVD is a good collection to have for any fan of drama, and there are many good features. There is a really long feature where everyone talks about the 3rd season, as scenes are shown. Then there's another feature all about their famous family dinners. That was very fun to watch. Then they have one really cute feature where they focus on the kids on the show. More TV shows should have this on their DVD's! Another feature talks about the sets and what they've done with them over the years (as well as the effects of Hurricane Sandy). There's your standard gag reel as well, with lots of flubbed lines and bleeped bad words, and then the deleted scenes for some of the episodes. There is also commentary on some of the episodes that you can enjoy.

I have missed a few episodes, so I really need to go back and get seasons one and two as well. You should enjoy this, and so would any of your family members. I'm looking forward to season four!
