"The Catch" review by Eva Diaz  4/14/16
Airs Thursdays, 10/9c on ABC

I was curious to see this latest show from Shodra Rhimes. Based on the description, I was hoping it would fill the void that "White Collar" left on my viewing schedule when it finished its run. "The Catch" stars Mireille Enos ("The Killing") as Alice Vaughan, a sexy private detective who falls in love with con artist Benjamin Jones, played by Peter Krause ("Parenthood"). Benjamin leaves Alice on the night before their wedding, taking with him her life savings. Alice and her team of private detectives set out to capture Benjamin before he can con others out of their money.

I was disappointed by this show because I have seen several episodes and it really doesn't hold my interest much because it doesn't have the twists and turns I am used to from Rhimes' other shows like "Scandal" or "How to Get Away with Murder."  To be fair, I was not that thriled with "How to Get Away with Murder" at first, either, so I am hoping that "The Catch" will grow on me (if they give it a chance).  For right now, I would suggest you watch reruns of "White Collar" because it is a much better show, if you like shows about thieves and con artists. I am giving this show a 3 out of 5 stars.
