Wilfred

"Wilfred" review by Suzanne
Airs Wednesdays at 10pm starting June 25 on FXX

I love this show. It's always very bizarre and keeps me on my toes as to what the heck is going on. The characters are weird and fun, and it's always great to see Elijah Wood! It often makes me laugh out loud.

Last season, we thought that Ryan's father died when he "fell" down the stairs, and things seemed very sinister as he tried to learn about Wilfred's origins. We find out very quickly this season that, as usual, all may not be as it seems!  Wilfred really helps Ryan out a lot in the second episode.

I'm very glad it's back, although I think it might be the last season.  Make sure you check it out!

More info:

Returning comedy series Wilfred will move to FXX for its fourth and final season starting Wednesday, June 25 at 10 PM ET/PT with two back-to-back episodes. Wilfred is a half-hour, live-action comedy about "Ryan," a young man struggling to make his way in the world until he forms a unique friendship with "Wilfred," his neighbor’s canine pet. Everyone else sees Wilfred as just a dog, but Ryan sees a crude and somewhat surly, yet irrepressibly brave and honest Australian bloke in a cheap dog suit. Executive Producers are David Zuckerman, Reed Agnew, Eli Jorné, Jason Gann, Rich Frank and Jeff Kwatinetz of Prospect Park, Randall Einhorn, and Joe Connor and Ken Connor of Renegade. Elijah Wood stars as “Ryan” and Jason Gann plays the title character “Wilfred.” Series regulars also include Fiona Gubelmann and Dorian Brown. Wilfred is produced by FX Productions. FXX will air 10 episodes of Wilfred for Season 4 on Wednesday nights at 10 PM ET/PT.

Episode 1-"Amends" (Airs Wednesday, June 25th at 10:00pm ET/PT) When Ryan's reality is upended, he gets a second chance to make things right.  Written by Reed Agnew and Eli Jorné; directed by Randall Einhorn.

Episode 2-"Consequences" (Airs Wednesday, June 25th at 10:30pm ET/PT) Disaster strikes when Ryan and Wilfred get an unwanted guest on their camping trip.  Written by David Baldy; directed by Randall Einhorn.
