Zoo: Season One

Zoo: Season one

 Review by Suzanne Lanoue 11/15/15

This is a very good show. I gave it a great review back when it first aired. I'm glad to say that it continues to be good throughout the first season.  CBS must have thought so, too, because they renewed it for next year.

I'm glad to get the DVD set for the show. Not only is it wonderful to collect the series, but the set has many great features that I enjoyed watching about how the series was created as well as a gag reel and the SDCC presentation.

It's a very thrilling show with lots of excitement, action, and scary animals.  I really like the actors in it as well.  I can't wait for next season. Check it out and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

MORE INFO:

CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Media Distribution are releasing Zoo: The First Season on November 3.

Starring James Wolk (TV’s “Mad Men”), Nonso Anozie (TV’s “Game of Thrones”), Kristen Connolly (TV’s “House of Cards”), and Billy Burke (The Twilight Saga), ZOO: THE FIRST SEASON is an “epic, non-stop thrill ride” (TIME Magazine). Featuring 13 episodes of the four-disc collection and loaded with special features, gag reels and deleted/extended scenes, including meeting the actors, getting an inside look at the production and hearing producers discuss how they created the astonishing visual effects.

In the first season of ZOO, follow a young, renegade American zoologist, Jackson Oz (James Wolk) who spends his days running safaris in the wilds of Africa. Jackson begins to notice the bizarre behavior of the animals and as assaults against humans become more cunning, coordinated and ferocious, he is thrust into the race to unlock the mystery of the pandemic before there’s no place left for people to hide.
