I don't watch this show regularly, but I always enjoy it
when I do. I need to go back and watch the previous seasons.
So I was a little lost watching the first two episodes of
this season that Syfy sent to me. However, the action and
everything was really good, and they do a good job of
explaining things here and there, enough that I basically
knew what was going on.
Apparently Kenzi "died" last season and she ended up in
Hell, AKA Valhalla. In the first episode of this season, Bo
goes after her. I doubt that's much of a spoiler because
these ladies are always rescuing each other. What Valhalla
looks like is pretty interesting. It's really great when
Kenzi and Bo are reunited. At the end of the first episode,
Bo sacrifices herself (sort of) to save Kenzi.
The second episode is all about how Bo finds herself in
another place, trying to face down a powerful villain (I
don't want to give away who). She meets a beautiful
woman and I think you can probably guess what happens. Also,
there are more shocks and surprises. Meanwhile, Dyson
and Lauren have to dig up Kenzi's body and try to find Bo.
There are some Valkyries involved, and again, I don't want
to give too many details, but it ends in a good place,
although one of the characters leaves at end. I hope it's
not the last we see of this person. Probably not!
It's always an entertaining show. It's too bad this is
their last season. I'm sure it will be outstanding!

ABOUT SEASON FIVE
Premieres Friday, April 17 at 10PM
In
the first eight episodes of the popular series’ fifth and
final season, Bo (Anna Silk) is determined to do the
impossible: drag her bestie out of the underworld.
Convinced her elusive and undeniably evil father is
responsible for luring Kenzi (Ksenia Solo) to her death, Bo
will stop at nothing until she succeeds. But in the world of
the Fae, nothing is ever as it seems -- and the after-life
is no exception.
Returning to the cast for Season 5 are stars Kris Holden-Ried
as Light Fae shape-shifter Dyson, Zoie Palmer as human
doctor Lauren, Rick Howland as Bo's ancient and secretive
grandfather Trick and Rachel Skarsten as Valkyrie warrior
Tamsin. Returning guest stars include Paul Amos and
Emmanuelle Vaugier.
Lost
Girl
was developed by Prodigy Pictures, in association with Shaw
Media and Showcase.
