Dr. Gloria Verrano
 She
took over as Medical Examiner after Dr. Lucassi disappeared. She had previously
been ME and retired. One of the few regular characters of the show that's not
Troubled, she's very strong and takes no guff from anyone. Duke had killed one
of her ancestors, so she did not get afflicted with their Trouble. She often
provides comic relief on the show.
