Chief Garland Wuornos
 Garland
was Chief of Police for many years in Haven. He and Nathan had an uneasy
relationship; he didn't show Nathan a lot of affection. Nathan didn't know for a
long time that he was adopted. Garland's Trouble was that he literally held the
town together. In the first season, he invites Audrey to join the police force
and helps her with the Colorado Kid mystery. Nathan gets his heroic attitude
from his dad.
