GREENLEE SMYTHE Du PRES LAVERY HAYWARD

On August 2, 2003, Greenlee found out she was actually Jackson
Montgomery's daughter. After her mother, Mary Greenlee, became
pregnant in May, 1976, her parents whisked her away, because they
disapproved of Jack. Mary married Roger Smythe who raised Greenlee as
his own daughter. Roger and Mary, however, did more jet-setting than
parenting, so Greenlee was actually raised by her loving but controlling
maternal grandparents, Millicent and Woodruff Greenlee. Due partly to
Mary's love of young men, she and Roger divorced and could not stand each
other. Forced by her wealthy father to show she could be a good
mother, Mary returned to Pine Valley for her daughter's wedding to Leo du
Pres and made Greenlee believe she truly loved her. After Roger was
shot and killed at Greenlee's wedding, she discovered he'd been having an
affair with her best friend, Simone Torres.
After a two-year absence, Greenlee returned to Pine Valley thinking the
world stopped for her and she would easily reclaim her husband, Ryan, her
best friend, Kendall, and her company, Fusion Cosmetics.
