Lorie was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. She
still lives there with her husband and three little girls. They have
just started homeschooling and love the hands-on time with the kids. The
whole family is learning so much! Lorie and her husband are both proud
graduates of Virginia Tech. Go Hokies!
Lorie's previous career as a media planner for an advertising agency
provided many opportunities for business writing and editing. Since
leaving that career to stay home with her girls, she has been writing
and proofreading website content for several writing sites. She looks
forward to focusing more on proofreading with TV MegaSite.
In her free time, Lorie maintains a website called BasedontheBook.com -
keeping up with most of the movies out there that are based on books.
She loves to read and watch movies. She also loves great TV shows like
Lost, Alias, and Heroes.
