Bonnie: Howdy, you two. Okay if I come in?

Mimi: What are you doing?

Bonnie: What does it look like I'm doing? I'm visiting the mother hen while she waits for her chick to hatch -- or incubate. Whatever. Anyway, I --

Shawn D.: Need a hand?

Bonnie: Thank you, sweetie. No, no, no, no. I bought a few things for the little munchkin. He is gonna know that his grandma loves him from the get-go -- or her.

Mimi: Mom, you're jumping the gun. We don't even know if this is gonna work.

Shawn D.: All right, no negative thoughts, remember?

Mimi: Uh -- right.

Sami: Um... what am I -- oh, uh, the wrench. Our wrench -- my wrench. I live there, and you borrowed my wrench.

E.J.: Hi. I'm E.J. Wells.

Sami: I'm Sami. And you're British?

E.J.: Yeah, last I checked. Your wrench.

Sami: Oh.

E.J.: Whoa.

Sami: Oh! Oh, my goodness. Certainly an improvement over the last neighbor.

Austin: Hey, Sami, don't worry about --

E.J.: Hey.

Sami: Austin! It's not what it looks like. He just, I guess --

E.J.: Yeah, I'm -- I'm sorry. Excuse me.

Austin: Hey, you know, don't worry about it, man. You'll find it's a very friendly building.

E.J.: Well, I just, um, I wouldn't want you to think I was some kind of, uh, exhibitionist or something like that.

Austin: Don't worry about it. I fixed the shower, so, well, we don't need the wrench after all.

Sami: Oh! Right. I forgot, uh, again. Um, can I -- yeah, well, you don't need it, do you?

E.J.: No, no, no, no. I'm fine. I'm all set. Thank you.

Sami: Uh, all right, well --

Lucas: Hey, you guys.

Carrie: Oh, you -- hi.

Austin: Hey, come over here. Let me introduce you to our new naked neighbor. Uh, this is E.J. Wells. This is my brother, Lucas, and his fiancé, Carrie.

Lucas: Nice to meet you.

E.J.: Hi.

Carrie: Haven't we met before?

Hope: Go. Be with them. They're your family now, Brady.

Bo: You're my family, Fancy Face. I only belong with you.

Hope: I don't believe you. I don't even know you anymore. How dare you compare what I do with Patrick to what you do with Billie? I only turned to Patrick after you filed for divorce, but you, on the other hand... this isn't the first time you've slipped up with Billie or the second or the third.

Bo: I didn't come here to argue with you, Hope. I came here to try to work things out.

Hope: Are you kidding me? Are you for real? How can you ever think we could get back together again, especially after the e-mail you sent me?

[Knock on door]

Jennifer: Hey. What's going on? I saw you leave. Are you okay?

Hope: I'm so far from okay.

Jennifer: Well, do you want to be alone?

Hope: That's just it. I don't know what I want. My God, Jennifer, what am I gonna do? God help me. I'm still in love with the man.

Jennifer: I knew it. I knew it. At least you came to your senses because I know that Bo still loves you.

Hope: But what good is it? It's not a love I can count on. The two of us can never be together again. We just can’t.

Chelsea: What? You want me to wear that?

Billie: Chelsea, you're going to court tomorrow. Simple, conservative -- this is the way to go.

Chelsea: You want me to dress like I'm going to a funeral. Then again, maybe I am. I'm going to mine.

Billie: You've been in a horrible mood ever since you talked to Frankie. Do you want to tell me what he said?

Chelsea: There's no way that Hope or Bo are gonna find out what I did because they're not talking to each other.

Frankie: You know you're whistling past the graveyard, don't you?

Chelsea: Whatever that means. Look, I talked to my dad this morning, and he said that when he went to Morgan Island, he saw Hope and Patrick kissing. And then he told me and my mom that she said she wanted nothing to do with him.

Frankie: Yeah, but they do love each other, and eventually, they're gonna realize that. They're gonna work through their problems, Chelsea.

Chelsea: Look, Frankie, didn't you tell me that it was in my best interest, legally, to not say anything about what I've done?

Frankie: Yeah, yeah. You know what? As your attorney, I can't say anything, but if you step up to the plate, admit what you've done, they might forgive you.

Chelsea: Yeah, right.

Frankie: On the other hand, if you don't and they find out on their own, things are gonna get a lot worse, and you know it.

Chelsea: No, I don't want to talk about what he said.

Billie: It might make you feel better.

Chelsea: Nothing is gonna make me feel better. Hope is back in town. I'm going to jail. My life is over.

Billie: Chelsea, wait. It's not o--

Patrick: Whoa, whoa. Where's the fire?

Billie: What are you doing here?

Patrick: Uh, I live here.

Marlena: Oh, wow. I can't believe I'm home -- in Salem, in the apartment.. I can't tell you how good it feels to be here.

John: Well, I know it's good to have you back being your old self again. Welcome home.

Marlena: Oh. You were right about Jennifer's. I didn't want to go, but it was so good to see everybody.

John: Well, good. Now, all you got to do is just kick back and let me take care of you. How's that sound?

Marlena: I think I can handle that.

John: Good, all right, for starters, what can I get you?

Marlena: Um, uh, uh, some chamomile tea, maybe?

John: After all this time, she wants tea.

Marlena: [Laughs]

John: Okay, I can do that.

Marlena: Thank you, John. [Sighs]

Roman: No, Kate, get back!

Marlena: Stop it! Stop!

John: Easy, easy, easy! Careful! Doc!

Kate: Aah! Aah! Oh, God.

John: Oh, my God. Call 911 quick.

Marlena: No, why won't anybody tell me about my baby?

John: The baby didn't make it. You miscarried when you fell down the stairs.

Marlena: I lost my baby? No! No!

Belle: Oh, Mom. Mom, it's okay. We're here for you.

Marlena: [Sobbing] I lost the baby.

Roman: Marlena...

Marlena: Oh, Roman. Hi.

Roman: Doc, what's wrong?

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of our Lives.

Lexie: I know that we've all told you to think positively, but at the same time, until the fertilized egg has attached itself to the uterus, I -- look, I just don't want you thinking this is a sure thing, okay?

Mimi: Lexie, we've seen the statistics. We understand that I might not get pregnant this time.

Lexie: Or you might miscarry, which, unfortunately, isn't uncommon in the first trimester.

Mimi: I know.

Shawn D.: But if it doesn't work out, we can try again in a couple months, right?

Lexie: Right, right. But the fertility drugs we used on Mimi weren't as effective as we'd have liked.

Mimi: What do you mean?

Lexie: Well...okay... given the difficulty we had harvesting the egg from you, we might run into the same problem in the future.

Mimi: Okay, what are you saying -- that if it doesn't work this time, I may not be able to get pregnant again?

Lexie: I'm afraid that is a possibility.

Mimi: [Sighs]

E.J.: Uh, have you been to London recently?

Carrie: No.

E.J.: Then you must be mistaking me for someone else.

Carrie: I have been to other places in Europe. I lived in Israel for a while.

E.J.: Oh, I'm quite sure that I'd remember meeting somebody as beautiful as yourself.

Carrie: Well, I guess I'm wrong, but thank you for the compliment.

Sami: So, um, what's up? Where were you two?

Lucas: Uh, we were at the pub. Caroline whipped us up one of her famous apple pies.

Austin: Lucky!

Lucas: Right?

Carrie: Well, uh, Lucas and I can't eat it all.

Lucas: Uh, who says we can't, Carrie?

Carrie: Well, I know we could, Lucas, but we shouldn’t. So, why don't you all join us?

Austin: Sounds good to me. Why don't we all go over to Sami's?

Sami: Oh, uh --

Carrie: Sure, yeah. There's nothing more American than apple pie, E.J. and one slice of my grandma's, and you'll never want to leave.

E.J.: Yeah, just give me a second. I'll get changed, and I'll be right over.

Carrie: Great. I could swear I've met that guy before.

Lucas: He didn't seem to think so.

Carrie: Well, I'm bad with names, but I'm great with faces. There's something so familiar about him.

Sami: I'm gonna change.

Lucas: Pie. What the hell you think you're doing with this?

John: I didn't realize we had company.

Marlena: Well, he just arrived.

Roman: John, welcome back. Ma told me about North, how you two were back, how Doc had regained her memory.

John: Yeah, how about that?

Roman: As soon as I heard the good news, I had to rush over, and, uh, well, the door was open, and I came in. And I found Doc crying.

John: Crying? You okay?

Marlena: Oh, I thought I was. And you know how I've always loved the penthouse. And then I just realized that so many awful things have happened here.

John: You don't have to worry about North anymore. He's not gonna hurt you.

Marlena: I wasn't thinking about Alex. I was remembering that this is where I lost Roman's baby.

John: Oh.

Jennifer: Listen, if you still love Bo, you can't give up. You have to do something. The two of you belong together.

Hope: We used to -- not anymore. It's going to be hard, but it's time for me to move on, Jen.

Jennifer: Where is that coming from? It doesn't even sound like you. Is this all because of what happened between you and Patrick?

Billie: So, I guess this means you're moving back in.

Patrick: Well, that's the plan. Are you okay with that?

Billie: Well, it's your house.

Patrick: Billie, this doesn't have to be a problem. I mean, we can share the rent like we did before.

Billie: Oh, I appreciate that. And that's fine for now, but I'm gonna look for another place.

Patrick: If that's what you want.

Billie: Your mom and you -- you've been really good about letting Chelsea and me stay here, but, uh, you know, I've been back at Countess Wilhelmina. I've stashed some money away. So, I am gonna go house hunting.

Patrick: All right, well, just know there's no hurry. Billie... I really don't want you to leave.

Bo: Hey. Hey. What's with the suitcase?

Chelsea: Don't try to stop me, okay? I'm running away.

Lexie: I know how anxious you are, and I don't want to worry you unnecessarily. But at the same time, as your doctor, it is my job to let you know --

Mimi: I know, Lexie. I'm sorry for interrupting you. Do you mind if I have a minute alone with my husband, please?

Lexie: Yeah, of course.

Mimi: Thanks.

Bonnie: Mimi, what is it? You're not having second thoughts about the procedure now, are you?

Mimi: No, I just want to talk to Shawn.

Bonnie: Okay, I'll be right outside, okay, if you need me.

Mimi: Maybe we shouldn't go through with this.

Shawn D.: We won't do anything you don't want to do, but we've known all along the risks of doing this in vitro fertilization. Nothing's changed. The odds haven't gotten any worse or better than they were before.

Mimi: I know, it's just if I can't get pregnant, I just -- I don't -- I don't know if I could handle that kind of disappointment.

Shawn D.: But if we don't try, it's gonna be worse. We will always wonder what might have been.

Mimi: Yeah, you're right. Do you want to know what's really bothering me?

Shawn D.: Yeah, of course.

Mimi: I just can't shake this guilty feeling. I mean, I just keep thinking of all the horrible things I've done.

Shawn D.: Honey -- honey --

Mimi: I know. I just -- I can't help but think that God is gonna punish me for everything.

Shawn D.: You got to stop beating yourself up like this, okay? You made a mistake. Who hasn't? But you're killing yourself because you had an abortion. But guess what? God does not punish people for making mistakes, last I heard. Do you know how much I love you?

Mimi: God, you must for putting up with me.

Shawn D.: You're stressing yourself out because you want to have this child so bad, and I think that's clouding your judgment. This in vitro thing -- it's a risk. If it doesn't work out, we'll figure out something else, but either way, no matter what happens today, we're gonna get through this together, okay?

Mimi: Okay.

Austin: That's none of your business. That's what it is.

Lucas: Trying to get your hands on Shawn Brady's turbo engine, get a little piece of the action?

Austin: What if I am?

Lucas: I think you're wasting your time.

Austin: Oh, why, because you want it?

Lucas: Shawn's already made a deal with Victor. We're gonna license it and mass produce it at Titan.

Austin: From my sources, I hear it's not a done deal. No contracts have been signed.

Lucas: Yeah, well, they got a handshake agreement. You know, Shawn's Victor's Grandson. It's pretty much done. The lawyers are pounding out the numbers as we speak. I guess Titan's won another round, haven't we?

Austin: Oh, man.

Sami: What's going on?

Carrie: They're talking business, as usual.

Austin: Nothing.

Sami: Austin, I -- [Doorbell rings] I'll get that.

E.J.: Here I am, ready to be Americanized. Apple pie today, rounders tomorrow -- or, uh, baseball, I think you call it.

Sami: Yes, it's baseball.

Austin: E.J., just in time, man. Make yourself at home.

E.J.: This is a lovely place.

Sami: Thanks.

E.J.: Forgive me. I, um, I couldn't help noticing this.

Austin: Oh, this is a business portfolio I'm working on.

E.J.: Yeah, it's Shawn Brady's new turbo engine.

Austin: Well, how do you know about that?

Lucas: Yeah, that's what I'd like to know.

John: Should have seen this one coming.

Marlena: I don't know why. I just got my memory back, and even I'm not sure how I'm going to react to things. I was saying that to Roman -- that I saw the stairs and had this flood of memories. And I realized that, that was where I fell. I haven't had a chance to tell you that I'm sorry about losing the baby. I should apologize to you, too. This must be so hard for you.

John: Don't worry about me. My only concern is you.

Roman: And I agree with John. Doc, you can't blame yourself for what happened. That fall was an accident. You've got to put that behind you.

Marlena: I'm not really sure that I can do that.

Hope: Look... the situation with Bo and me has absolutely nothing to do with Patrick.

Jennifer: How can you say that? You were intimate with him, Hope.

Hope: But I'm not in love with him.

Jennifer: Are you sure about that?

Hope: Yes. He helped me through a very difficult time in my life, and, yes, I do. I have feelings for him, but they're not love -- not the kind of love that Bo has for Billie.

Jennifer: What are you talking about? I know that they share something, but it's not what the two of you have. You are Bo's life. He couldn't even survive without you, Hope.

Hope: Well, he seems to be surviving just fine, doesn't he?

Jennifer: What are you talking about? At my house, he was miserable. I saw him.

Hope: If he's unhappy, he brought it on himself. That has nothing to do with me. It's not my problem.

Jennifer: I don't even know how you can say that. It doesn't sound like you. You sound so cold.

Hope: Well, then, this is going to sound even colder. I didn't come back here because of Bo. I came back to make sure that his daughter goes to jail for killing my son.

Bo: Chelsea, come on. You're smarter than that. Running away -- it's not gonna solve anything.

Chelsea: At least I'll be free.

Bo: Being on the run -- that's not freedom.

Chelsea: Face it, Dad. Everybody in this town hates me, and if I show up in court tomorrow, Hope's gonna make them hate me even more. My life is over.

Bo: You seem to forget that I'm gonna be there and your mom, Kate, Victor, Caroline. You're part of the family, and we stick together. There's gonna be somebody else there looking out for you, too.

Chelsea: You mean Max?

Bo: No. I mean your little brother, Zack. He loved his big sister. I'm gonna tell that to the courtroom. Hey, look at me. I'm not gonna lose you, too, okay?

Chelsea: Okay.

Bo: Okay.

Patrick: Look, I don't want you moving out because of me. There's no reason we can't co-exist like we did before.

Billie: Co-exist? What is that, some sort of a cold war term? Look, Patrick, I know you have issues with Chelsea.

Patrick: I had issues with both of you, but I also care about both of you.

Billie: You really mean that?

Patrick: Yeah, of course I do. Look, Billie, you have to know that there's a part of me that will always love you. So, what do you say, huh? You want to give this whole living situation another shot or what?

Billie: I'll think about it.

Patrick: Good.

Bo: What the hell?

Lexie: Okay, Mimi, that's it.

Mimi: You're finished?

Lexie: Yep, but I need you to keep your legs elevated until this timer goes off, okay?

Mimi: How long will that be?

Lexie: Just a few minutes. In the meantime, I want to go over some things with Shawn.

Shawn D.: Okay.

Mimi: What are you doing?

Bonnie: Come on. Just trying to make you more comfortable. There you go. No, no, no. Legs up.

Mimi: Okay, okay.

Bonnie: That's better. You got to do everything you can to make sure this pregnancy sticks, honey.

Mimi: I know.

Bonnie: How are you feeling, my brave little girl?

Mimi: Okay so far.

Bonnie: Aw.

Mimi: Fine.

Bonnie: Have I told you how proud I am of you?

Mimi: I don't know what there is to be proud of. If I hadn't had that abortion, Shawn and I wouldn't be going down this road.

Bonnie: Honey, that abortion was my fault because I pushed you into doing it. And I can't tell you how sick I feel about that. Hey, with your genes and Shawn's, you are gonna have the most beautiful baby in the world, and I'm gonna be the best grandma in Salem. I promise you that. Honey, I can't wait to give that little person a great big Bonnie hug. Mimi.... hello? What planet are you on?

Mimi: Huh?

Bonnie: Mimi, you just were about a zillion miles away.

Mimi: Oh, I was just thinking about something you said once.

Bonnie: Another one of my pearls of wisdom, I'm sure.

Mimi: Not exactly. You once said that all the Lockhart women are cursed. Did you really mean that?

E.J.: How do I know about it? I read about it on Max Brady's blog.

Austin: Then you're into racing.

E.J.: Oh, cars are my passion. I mean, road racing, primarily. Monte Carlo's practically a second home.

Sami: Really?

E.J.: Yeah, and Shawn Brady's turbo engine, I mean, it could revolutionize the entire sport.

Austin: That's right.

Lucas: Yeah, we hope so. He's a good friend of ours.

E.J.: Is that right?

Lucas: Mm-hmm. So, what brings you to this part of the world?

E.J.: Well, I, um, I'm looking to set up a business in the states, and I thought that Salem would be a saner choice than either New York or Los Angeles.

Lucas: Saner, huh? I don't know about that.

Sami: Yeah, what, um, what kind of business?

E.J.: Uh...you know, when I know you a little better, I'll tell you.

Lucas: Ooh.

Sami: Really?

Lucas: Mystery.

Sami: Um, okay, well, then, I guess just what about yourself personally?

E.J.: There's not a lot to tell, really. I mean, I am single and planning on staying that way. I went to University at Oxford and then worked in Cairo for a while doing some import/export work.

Carrie: Here's apple pie.

E.J.: Lived in India. Oh, my goodness. This looks fantastic. Thank you.

Carrie: Sami, will you help Lucas with some drinks?

E.J.: Oh, would you let me?

Sami: Oh, no, no. You shouldn't, E.J. don't worry about it.

E.J.: Please, come on. I've tendered a few bars in my time.

Carrie: Well, you can't show off your expertise here. We just have beer and lemonade.

E.J.: I'll do something.

Lucas: Sami, I need a bottle opener or something.

Austin: Never mind. I know where it's at.

Lucas: Thanks, Austin.

Sami: Oh, my God!

Carrie: What?

Sami: Carrie, he is so hot!

Carrie: He is very charming.

Sami: Charming is not the least of it. I mean, I just wish I had, like, a girlfriend or someone I could set him up with.

Carrie: Sami, take a breath.

Sami: I can’t.

Carrie: Oh, come on! Who are you trying to kid? You are so into him.

Marlena: I don't know why you're both looking at me that way. It can't be very surprising that a person would grieve over the loss of a child.

Roman: No, Doc, of course --

Marlena: I just -- I can't move on until I come to grips with it. I remember falling down the stairs. I remember miscarrying, and that must have been when the hysterical amnesia set in. And that -- that must be what made it so easy for Alex to control me. I just need some time to recover.

John: I understand.

Roman: Doc, I, uh... I guess I didn't realize how much our baby meant to you.

Marlena: Maybe it didn't seem that way at the time, but that child was wanted. Maybe that's -- that's wrong because I was married to John and you were married to Kate. But we were just -- we were spending so much time there held captive in the castle.

Roman: Yes, that was a very, very hard time for both of us.

Marlena: And we were so desperate to be with the people that we loved. It bonded us. And that night -- look, the pregnancy was not planned. In a funny way, it just seemed like it was meant to be. Tony had taken so much away from everybody. It was -- it was -- it was like a reaffirmation that good things do come out of terrible, terrible times. I'm sorry. I can't seem to stop crying. I'm sorry.

John: It's all right. It's okay. You've had these feelings bottled up a long time. It's good you finally let them out.

Marlena: I'm not really sure that I'm gonna get over it. It seems -- it seems to me like I've just lost so much.

Jennifer: I know how much Bo hurt you after Zack died, but I also know that if you still love him, you can find it in your heart to forgive him. [Doorbell rings] I'll get it, okay?

Delivery Person: Flowers for Mrs. Hope Brady.

Jennifer: Oh, okay, I'll take those. Thank you. Let me just get some money for a tip. Hope, here you go.

Hope: Oh, thank you.

Jennifer: Here you are.

Delivery Person: Thanks.

Jennifer: Thank you. Bye-bye.

Delivery Person: Bye.

Jennifer: They're pretty.

Hope: They're from Bo.

Jennifer: Yeah. What's the card say?

Hope: That he loves me... that we belong together.

Jennifer: So, what are you gonna do?

Hope: I know exactly what I'm going to do.

Billie: Let's talk outside. Come on.

Bo: I want you out of here.

Billie: I didn't know he was coming back. We talked. Everything's okay.

Bo: I don't want you or Chelsea anywhere near him.

Billie: Look, after the trial, I will look for another place, but Chelsea has been through enough upheaval.

Bo: Well, I can't have you stay with me. I've been living on the friggin' boat.

Billie: Right. Cramped quarters and all.

Bo: Yeah.

Billie: And gee, Hope wouldn't be too thrilled if she found Chelsea and me bunking with you.

Bo: I got to take a walk.

Billie: You want some company?

Bo: No, I got to clear my head.

Billie: [Exhales sharply]

Patrick: So, how you been?

Chelsea: Okay.

Patrick: Look, Chelsea, I know you're mad at me, but, uh, I really do hope everything works out for you.

Chelsea: And, Patrick... thank you.

Lexie: Shawn, I'm relying on you to keep Mimi calm, all right? Have her stay off her feet as much as possible, and it's also very important that she continues the hormone therapy for two more weeks until we know for sure that the pregnancy test is positive.

Shawn D.: I know.

Lexie: Okay, if she experiences any bleeding, fever, or significant discomfort, I want you to call Dr. Ross right away, okay?

Shawn D.: Okay, yeah, I will. I just hate that she has to go through this all by herself. I wish there was more I could do.

Lexie: Shawn, honey, you are doing more than you know. Just continue to be there for her every step of the way, okay?

Shawn D.: Don't worry. I'll take good care her.

Bonnie: Come on, honey. You know how I like to run off at the mouth. You can't believe half the things I say.

Mimi: So, it's true, isn't it? You really think that all the women in our family are cursed.

Bonnie: [Sighs] Honey, if I said that, I was just probably ticked off at some dumb-ass man. Lord knows my love life is pretty damn dismal. But you -- now, this is important, so you have to listen to me, okay? You are married to the man you love and about to be pregnant with his child.

Mimi: Hopefully.

Bonnie: Now, look at it this way -- if there really was a curse, do you think you would reel in a catch like Shawn Brady? Mm-hmm. Honey, you are living proof that the curse has been broken.

Mimi: Do you really think so?

Bonnie: I surely do. Come here, sweetie.

Sami: Carrie, shut up! I am not interested in him. I'm with Austin now. I love him. We're happy. It's what I've always wanted, but come on. He's charming and cute and -- oh, my God. It's just nice -- you know what? It's nice that he doesn't have any preconceived notions about me. For all he knows, I'm some girl who sits at home baking and knitting.

Carrie: Yeah, and playing the harpsichord. Anyway, you're right. He is very attractive.

Sami: Are you interested in him?

Carrie: No! How could you even ask me that? I'm about to marry Lucas and have his baby.

Sami: Of course. How could I forget?

Lucas: We have the drinks ready. Ladies... where should I put this?

Carrie: Put it on the table. That'd be great.

Lucas: Okay.

Carrie: All right.

Sami: Wow, that looks good.

Carrie: This looks great.

E.J.: That's for Sami.

Carrie: I'll have the nonalcoholic. That's yours. Great. Well, I'd like to make a toast to our new neighbor on his first Memorial Day in Salem. May it be the first of many.

E.J.: Thank you, Carrie. To new places and new friends. Cheers.

Carrie: Cheers!

Lucas: Cheers.

Austin: Cheers.

Carrie: Excellent.

E.J.: Something wrong?

Sami: Um, well, no, no, actually, it's just that -- how did you know that I like lemonade in my beer?

E.J.: Lucky guess. Cheers.

Marlena: I'm sorry. I keep falling apart right when I think I'm sane.

Roman: Doc, it's all right.

Marlena: I'm just trying to be honest about everything.

John: Appreciate that.

Roman: We both do. You've had a lot to deal with lately.

John: Especially the last 24 hours. I think what she needs is some sleep right now.

Roman: I agree with you, John. Doc, you and I can catch up later. Right now I'm gonna leave you two alone.

John: Okay.

Marlena: Thank you for understanding. John, I need to thank you, too.

John: No need to thank me for anything.

Marlena: But there is. You've been so patient, and you've encouraged me to, um, have my feelings and express them.

John: Well, I love you, and I will do whatever it takes to help you deal with these things that you're starting to remember. We'll just take it one day at a time.

Marlena: Roman...

Roman: Oh, my God. You are pregnant.

Marlena: I am.

Roman: Well, look, this is none of my business, but was it a surprise or were you trying?

Marlena: No, we wer -- Roman, you misunderstood. I'm a few months along.

Roman: A few months? Oh, my God. Doc, are -- are you telling me this isn't John's baby?

Marlena: It's yours.

Billie: Hey. Is everything okay in here?

Chelsea: Yeah, everything's fine.

Patrick: Yeah, we were just talking.

Chelsea: Um, look, I'll be in my room if either of you guys need me.

Billie: Okay. Do you mind if I ask you what you were talking about?

Patrick: Nothing much. I was just, uh, wishing her luck. You look surprised.

Billie: Yeah, I guess I am. I'm sorry. I can see that you mean it.

Patrick: Billie, I don't want anything bad to happen to you or your daughter. You have to know that by now.

Hope: [Sobbing]

Bo: Zack loved us. If he could whisper in your ear right now, that he would say he wants mommy and daddy to be together.

Max: I'd do anything to make you feel better right now.

Chelsea: Anything?

Max: You name it.

Chelsea: Get rid of Hope Brady.

Carrie: Are you and Sami okay?

Austin: Yeah, oh, yeah. She just wanted to walk home.

E.J.: I hope I'll be seeing a lot of you, Sami.
