Adrian and Colleen stare at each other in bed. It is morning now. The alarm goes off and Korbel reaches over them to turn it off. She can stay longer but he can't. he has to take a shower and he wants to take it with her. He wants to take advantage of every second that he can get with her. He reaches with her.

Victoria gets a call from Brad while she is at the house. He and Victor are home. He tells the good news that they sealed the deal. She loves that he is bringing her a 'souvenir' He hangs up smiling.

Paul puts a cold compress on Sheila's head to cool her off. She seems to be doing much better now. She begs to be uncuffed but he knows that she will only make her injury worse again. Paul's cellphone rings and he leaves the cell to answer. It is Maggie. "I left my badge at your place and need to get it." He would like her to visit but he isn't home. He tells her to come over later that afternoon. She doesn't understand why she should do that. He will only be sleeping. He promises that he will stay awake for her. They make a date for 1:30pm that afternoon at his place. She hangs up and calls her pal at the station. The man couldn't get a handle on where Paul was because his phone was off, but it is on now…

Paul is with Sheila looking at her through the bars, when someone knocks. It is Lauren. She comes to the bars and Sheila says she is glad to see her. Lauren tells her that she will be spending the rest of her life in this prison so she had better not get her hopes up about getting out of there.

Michael is having a meeting with the Winters about the case. Michael's phone rings and he looks at the monitor and turns it off. Dru really wants to testify but Michael feels that she could do more harm than good.

Colleen comes home and Victoria is there waiting. She can tell just by looking at Colleen that she didn't spend the night at Lily's and that she actually spent the night with Korbel. Colleen pauses before she answers her stepmother.

Colleen admits that she is seeing Adrian, and Victoria isn't pleased. She knows that others can get hurt by this. Then there is the Grugeon Collection and Adrian's interest in all that. Colleen would like Victoria to consider that Adrian is actually interested in her. Victoria just thinks that Colleen should cool it for a while. "I don't want to cool it. And just for the record…when I want your advice, I will ask for it," Colleen snaps.

Victor and Brad worry about the safety of the ranch now that they have the piece they have been looking for. Someone has been looking for it, and now it is in the possession of the Newmans. They don't know what they should expect. Brad has beefed up security and now they can only hope for the best.

Michael tries to continue his meeting with the Winters, but his phone keeps ringing. Miguel moves into the halls of Newman to take the call…

… Lauren is outside the warehouse on the phone to her doctor, telling a lie to get some more antibiotics for Sheila to keep her well. She gets everything arranged and reenters the warehouse. Paul sits with Sheila on the couch in the cell. Sheila says that she will not take any prescription they give her. Paul will make her take it. Paul really has to get going home. Sheila tells Laurent that Paul is a hero. He's a hero. She wonders aloud if Paul is doing all this because he is still in love with Lauren…

Victoria is torn about telling Brad about Colleen and her involvement with Adrian. She is concerned for their safety. Victor and Brad arrive and Colleen hurries out. Victoria is glad that Colleen left. She shouldn't be privy to what they are about to discuss. Brad takes out the reliquary and shows it to Victoria…

JT and Jana read about Korbel on the computer at the coffeehouse. He finds the suicide interesting but doesn't see how that makes Adrian necessarily a creepy guy. There were some other murders in areas were Korbel has been and Jana is sure that Adrian is involved somehow. She offers to print off some of the things that they have found while researching. She runs to the office. JT gets on the phone and asks a friend to look into some murders and see if they could be connected to an Adrian Korbel…Adrian comes into the coffeehouse and looks strangely at JT who quickly gets off the phone…Jana returns to JT and hands him the printouts. She goes over to the professor and offers to get him his usual. She sees that his bag is sitting on a chair across from him…

Devon is really worried about Friday, but Neil and Drucilla know that Michael will be great and has a lot on his mind. He has a new baby and probably hasn't gotten much sleep. Devon doesn't care. Michael has to focus. Devon's life depends on that.

Paul and Lauren talk at his place now. Paul looks haggard but he tells Lauren that he is just fine. He hasn't shaved in a while. She wants him to take care of herself. She remembers telling people that she was fine when she was really depressed. He says that he has just been agitated. She shows him the pills that her doctor gave her. She only takes them when she is feeling anxious or depressed. He warns her that these are addictive. She puts them on the table. "Look! They are here if you ever want them," she says.

Victoria, Brad and Victor can't figure out what is so important about the reliquary. They hope that Rebecca will be able to help them with this…

Adrian's phone rings. He heads to the patio and answers his phone…JT watches as Jana sneakily goes over to Adrian's table and gets his coffee cup and bag. She hides the items behind the counter where they can't be seen. JT smiles…

Adrian and Colleen talk over the phone. She has called him…They want to be together. He thinks that that they should meet at his place since JT is there. she doesn't want to hide and they arrange to meet.

The Winters go to Michael and talk to him about their concerns that he is preoccupied. He is ragged but promises that he will be fine by Friday when they have to go to court…

Sheila would rather die than take medicine to keep living. Paul holds the pill in front of Sheila and still she refuses to take it. He knows that she isn't the death wish time. "This is getting to you, isn't it? It's getting to you. It's only been a few months and you're already cracking. How long do you think that you could take this?" Paul gets fed up with doing things the nice way and grabs Sheila's jaws, forcing them open to shove the pill in, but Sheila clamps down on his fingers and so he yanks them out of danger's way, howling like a wounded animal. "I am trying to help you!" he shouts at her as he holds his injured hand between his legs…

Rebecca arrives and is led over to the reliquary. "It's just as I remembered." Victor tells how a private dealer in Geneva had it and gave it over when he realized how dangerous the artifact was. Rebecca picks the item up and stares at it. She then stares at her son…

Paul is about to enter his apartment. "Don't move!" a voice shouts from behind him. "Keep your hands where I can see them Williams…" Paul smiles. It is Maggie. He turns and they start kissing as they back into his apartment. He hands her the badge and then grimaces bending his neck. She makes him sit and she rubs the area for him. She asks about the stakeout and learns that Paul is still working solo since JT has other things to do. Maggie offers to help Paul just one more time. He would love to work with her on something but not this case. It is too sensitive, he says. They are about to make love again when one of them start beeping. She looks at her phone. It is her phone. "I have to go." He hopes they can get together later and spend some time. "Count on it!" She leaves. JT calls Paul and asks him about Adrian and infers that there might be something going on with the guy. He tells that Jana has been connecting some dots and things are making sense. Also there have been some murders and he is concerned about Colleen's safety. Paul is in then!

Dru has lost something at the office and she can't find it. Her phone rings. It is a woman who sounds like Carmen. She asks Dru if she has lost something. Dru slowly stands erect. She shouts at Neil that it is Carmen on the phone. She hands the phone to Neil but all he hears is an automated operator. "It was Carmen!" Dru shouts. "It was Carmen!"

Rebecca and the others inspect the reliquary and they find some gibberish. Rebecca has no idea what this means. Victor worries that whoever knows what this is about will want to go after Rebecca if they discover that she is involved in all this…

JT goes to the counter and asks Jana if there is anything interesting in the bag that she swiped. She orders him to keep quiet. She is about to answer his question when Korbel arrives to order another coffee, but instead he sees something over the counter. "Hey! That's my bag!"

Jana tells that she found the bag and was going to look into it to see who it belongs to. She does that all the time. Adrian doesn't believe Jana, or JT. Adrian finds it terribly convenient that JT happened to be there while she was about to dig into his bag. Adrian takes his bag and Jana offers him another coffee…on the house.

Rebecca can tell that the scribbling was something done years after she had seen the reliquary last. She doesn't think that it is a cataloguing mark either…

JT gets a call and takes it privately…Jana brings Adrian his coffee and assures him that she isn't the type to snoop in a person's personal things. He doesn't look up from what he is reading as she talks to him…out on the patio, Colleen sees when Colleen arrives and walks by JT as if they hardly know each other. Colleen heads straight to Korbel's table where Jana is still standing. She orders tea. Jana smiles coyly. "The lady wants tea," Jana says on her way to the counter.

Adrian and Colleen talk about schools and things that he give the students to do. He has to go and wonders if Colleen is going to stay at the coffeehouse alone. She sees that JT is there and can tell that the professor worries about her being there with JT. She knows that she will be bumping into JT a lot since they live in the same town…

Michael arrives home and finds Lauren playing with Fen. He comes over and plays with his baby for a while. Fenmore is lucky. He has to just play and get change. Michael would like a change, but one of a different type. Michael has come home cause he needed a break. He is so stressed out about Sheila. He can't be that on edge about Devon's case. He has to get it together. Lauren knows that no one is better than her husband. He tells her that he didn't have his facts straight earlier that day and he can't afford any of those. Will doesn't make mistakes. "I can't stop thinking about Sheila," Michael says. Lauren puts the baby down now. Michael asks about Lauren's day. Lauren tells how she might have saved Sheila's life that day…

"Guess who?" Paul shouts coming into the warehouse. Sheila has her eyes closed and she doesn't move. Paul gets his keys and opens the cell door. He closes it behind him and heads over to Sheila who appears to be sleeping. He puts his hand on Sheila's forehead and those eyes spring open and she catches Paul off guard, making him fall off balance. "Ahhh!" she shouts as she overpowers him and proceeds to choke him with her bare hands…Paul jumps up out of his sleep and sees that he is safely at his place. He is really shaken up. He sees the pills that Lauren left for him and he takes one, drinking water afterwards to wash it down.

JT sits with Colleen now that she is alone and he tells her of his suspicions of Adrian and how Carmen could have come across the man and was killed. Colleen finds JT's theory ridiculous… she gets up and leaves the table.

Victor needs to get going now. Victoria hugs her father and says goodbye to him. Rebecca sees Victor to the door. Victoria tells that Colleen has moved back home and how she and JT have broken up…As Brad and Victoria talk, the bug in the room picks up every word that they say. Victoria tells how Colleen is on to seeing someone new… "Adrian Korbel…" Brad can't even speak.

Sheila hears someone at the door. She shouts as loud as she can for someone to help her. BANG! Sheila is suddenly quiet. She hears the door to the cell open and Maggie enters. She sees Sheila in the cell and doesn't believe it. "There is a key!" Sheila shouts. "It is on top of the breaker!" Sheila shouts. Maggie runs to get the keys and she opens the cell and subsequently undoes the cuffs. "Please hurry before he comes back!" Maggie has Sheila free now. Sheila stops her ranting and just stares down at Maggie. She grabs the woman by the throat and squeezes. She squeezes and squeezes until the life runs out of Sully and she gently falls to the floor. Sheila stares down at her with those cold lifeless eyes of hers…
