Workout Dispute:

At The Athletic Club, Phyllis joined Damon for a workout session. They flirted, despite their 'broken up' status. He teased her about Jack, while she was livid to learn that Adrienne was playing him against Malcolm. Damon was annoyed when Phyllis insisted Adrienne was a user. She deflected his anger and they ended up making plans for a date the next night.

Phyllis vs Adrienne:

While Damon showered, Phyllis ran into Adrienne and warned her to stay away from Malcolm. Though Adrienne suspected Phyllis wanted Malcolm for herself, the redhead explained that Malcolm was just a friend, and her true concern was for Damon. Adrienne reminded Phyllis that she had suffered the loss of Elias, just like Damon, and told her she had nerve for giving her orders. Phyllis warned her that she'd be watching her every move. Damon interrupted them together and, while Adrienne fumbled for words, Phyllis told Damon she couldn't wait for their upcoming date.

Moving On:

Bobby stopped by The Athletic Club to ponder all the big changes in his life and catch up with Gina. He spotted Nikki sitting alone and reluctantly made his way over. They acknowledged the tension their kiss had caused, before he told her that he and Brittany were thinking of moving away. Though Nikki thought of begging him not to, she instead offered her support, and said she'd miss him. He pointed out that now, with the house to herself again, she and Victor would have more time alone.

Don't Give Up:

Ashley visited Victor at the ranch and admitted she was shocked he'd given up the fight for Jabot so easily in her absence. He explained that he could no longer fight for a company whose members wanted him gone. Ashley's heartfelt plea convinced him that if Kay only knew the truth of Jack's scheme, she would reconsider and let Victor and Ashley save Jabot as they'd planned to. Victor agreed to see Kay, and as the two of them left, Nikki arrived. Victor barely spoke to her before rushing out, leaving her to wonder when they would ever have time together.

Ashley's Appeal:

At Kay's home, Ashley begged her to back out of the Jabot acquisition, pointing out that it was never John's intention to have his company owned by another conglomerate. Kay admitted that while that may be true, she believed John also wanted peace. Ashley couldn't argue with that, so Kay - with all respect to Ash and Victor - said she was standing by Jack. Ashley left and Victor, alone with Kay, warned her - with all due respect - that she would someday regret handing her company over to the likes of Jack Abbott.

Jack vs Gloria:

At the Abbott Estate, Jack let Gloria have it, admitting that he suspected she'd rushed to Victor and warned him about the secret meeting in an effort to thwart Jack's plan. As Gloria chastised him for kicking her out of the meeting, and insisted Victor was on the up and up, Jack warned that John would never forgive her for such a blatant betrayal. John then came downstairs.

Trouble For Gloria:

John wasted no time telling Jack that Ashley was back and angry with his backstabbing, then added that he, too, was unimpressed that Jack had lied to him about getting Ash's okay. Jack deflected the ridicule by revealing that Gloria had secretly met with Victor to sabotage the acquisition, then accused her of doing so because she believed her meal ticket was slipping away. Outraged, John told Jack to shut up and never speak to Gloria that way again. Jack said he understood, and stormed upstairs. Alone, John demanded to know why Gloria had met with Victor.

Last Ditch Effort:

At Memorial Hospital, Drucilla was frustrated by a broken down car as she and Malcolm tried to leave and get to the condo. While he worked on the car, she phoned Lily and demanded she not go through the rest of Neil's mail, but let him do so when he returned home. Lily asked if there was something she didn't want her to see. Dru ignored the question and told Lily to get Daniel out of the condo, since she was not allowed to be alone with boys.

Finally:

Daniel and Lily both struggled to understand what exactly the lab test they were holding was saying. Though they couldn't make much sense of it, it suddenly dawned on Lily that it was - without question - a paternity test of some kind.

Busted:

Dru and Malcolm rushed to the Winters condo and went inside, finding the place empty. As they began going through all the mail on the table, Lily slowly walked into the room and asked what they were doing. Dru briefly chastised her again for having Daniel (gone now) over alone, while Lily noticed that Malcolm wouldn't stop going through letters. As she asked him what he was looking for and he insisted he was just being nosy, she suddenly took out the paternity test and asked if they were sure they weren't looking for it. Malcolm's eyes widened, while Drucilla looked ready to faint.
