Y&R Update Tuesday 7/2/02--Canada; Wednesday 7/3/02--U.S.

Ralph has hit Billy over the head and is talking to Mackenzie. He put on a policeman's outfit and has been tracing the movements of the kids so that he could find them. Raul give Ralph the information that he needed to find the kids. He thought that he was only trying to help out. Ralph calls her over to him. Mac refuses to go anywhere near that bastard. Billy is out cold. He can't help her now. Ralph takes out his knife telling Mac to come to him as they have some unfinished business to conduct. She begs him not to do this. He feels that he has paid the price for this for years anyway. Mac tells him that she was wrong and that she didn't mean to hurt him. He gets a hold of her and starts peeling off her jacket. He saw her without her clothes the night before and she looked good. He tells her to be quiet and to make this good. She calls to Billy but Billy is not awake yet. Slowly he gets up and sees that something terribly is about to happen. Billy starts getting up and hea! rs Ralph threatening Mac with the knife.

Jill, Katherine and Amanda argue over Amanda's role in this whole thing scheme has endangered the kids. John comes in hearing the ladies yelling. He hasn't seen Billy either. John saw Billy when he left for the prom and that was it. What is going on he wonders? Has something happened to Billy? He learns the story and turns on Amanda. Amanda doesn't know how far Ralph will go with his crimes. She says that he always felt that people tried to take advantage of him. Jill tells her that she is a liar. Katherine tells Jill to stop talking about the bracelet. She wants to know more about Ralph. Amanda thought that all he was interested in was money. She never thought that he would kidnap someone or go after her daughter. Kay could tell that Ralph was doing this because of more than money.

Ashley talks to Olivia on the phone telling her to come over for the 4th of July celebration. Brad worries that she is taking on too much but Ashley wants to do this. She might not have much time left and she wants to make the best of the time that she does have. She has had her chemotherapy and it has been making her sick. She really wants to therapy to work and Brad reminds her that for that to happen she has to rest, but Ashley can't do that right now. She wants to make memories and happy times while she can for her family and her friends. She tells him that they don't know how this is going to turn out but the reality is that this could be the last times of her life. She can't sit around and do nothing. she isn't skydiving, she is only having a friend over. She gets ill and goes running to the washroom.

Victoria tells her brother that they should call the ranch to see what is going on with their parents. Something is bothering Nikki but Nick is sure that she can handle it. He thinks that they should just leave well enough alone. Victoria is acting really distracted because of the trouble with their parents. Victoria is thinking again and Nick wants to know what is on her mind. Victoria is thinking of the tape that was delivered to her from Leanna Love. She can't stnd the curiousity of it all. She takes out the tape and puts it in for them to watch. Careful, curiosity killed the cat. Leanna starts her interview..."...I have exposed the real Victor Newman to you...he has taken womanizing to a whole new level...the man gets around..." Nick is sick at the things that he is seeing and the video footage. Nick wonders if this is true. Victoria doesn't beleive a drop of it. She thinks that the picture could have been taken years ago. Victoria is sure that nothing is going on. Nick! tells her not to get mad about this or Leanna will win. maybe that is why Nikki is upset. Victoria is sure that this is all Leanna. This is just a digital trick.

Victor has come home and he finds Mr. Hollister there with Nikki. Nikki asks him to leave and he does so but not before telling Nikki to remember what he told her. He wants to make sure that Nikki doesn't warm up to Victor again so that he can manipulate her. He wants her to be angry and not depressed. Victor sees that Nikki is familiar with this man. Nikki tells him that he was the one that was trying to take over Julia's company before Victor took it. Victor finds that strange that this particular man would be in Nikki's house. Was he trying to get Nikki to convince him not to take over the company or waht?Victor wants to know why the man was there. Nikki wonders why he thinks that is all that they have to talk about. She tells him that she met him at a restaurant and tried to talk to her. Victor is suspicious of that. She is attractive enough to get a man to talk to her and she knows that he knows that too. She is in her robe and Victor notices that. She tells him that s! he slept in. She asks him where the hell he has been. He wonders about her entertaining in her robe. She is definitely upset with him and he is mystified that she feels this way. What has he done? She hates that he thought that she would be sitting waiting for him. She tells him that she knows where he was and what he was doing. She knows that he has been parading through the country talking to his ex-wives. She asks him if he has picked the lucky woman?

Larry and Raul are putting two and two together and figuring out that the cop that Raul was talking to was really Ralph. They know now that Mac and Billie are in way more trouble than everyone thought. Raul fills in the blanks for Larry telling him of a camp site that he used to hang out at with the kids. He told Ralph of the places that Billie and Mac like to go and they should really look there for the kids before anywhere else. Larry tells Raul to go and tell Kay what he has just said. She will call the police. Larry swings into action on another mission and off they go.

Christine talks to Lynne asking if she would like to meet some time. Christine doesn't want to put Lynne in an awkward position talking to her and seeming disloyal to Paul. Lynne doesn't care about that at all. She would love to see Christine. Lynne thinks that they should meet. Lynne has plans for the holiday but they can still meet for drinks beforehand. Paul comes in at the tailend of Lynne's conversation and thinks that she is tlaking to a new guy that she knows. Paul jokes that Lynne has a date for the 4th of July. Marissa thinks that she better not have a date as they have plans for the holiday. Isabella arrives with her son and Paul greets them. Isabella wants to talk to Paul for a minute so she heads into the back office to wait for him. Paul follows her and thinks that his wife looks amazing. She shows him a shirt that she has bought. It is very patriotic looking. In fact it is a mtching shirt to the one that his son is wearing. Isabella helps him change into the n! ew shirt. What if people stop and salute? She tells him to smile and wave. She thinks that he looks fabulous. She asks about Mary but Paul hasn't talked to her. Isabella knows that this holiday is a very special one. paul wishes that things were different but they aren't. Paul is ready to go now and they head out. Lynne makes a comment about Paul's shirt. Paul says that he is going to get a bite and then head to the park. Lynne tells them to have fun. Off the family goes for a fun time.

Leanna arrives at Gina and Gina is cold to her. Leanna doesn't care. She was a smash in the ratings. It doesn't matter who gets hurt. It is called reality. Leanna sees herself as the messenger. Mr. Hollister comes in behind Leanna and she asks him where the hell he was the night before. He tells her that she has been doing well on her own. He wonders if she has anymore bombs to drop. Victoria walks into the restaurant and see Leanna there. Victoria says that the tape was a fake but Leanna assures her that is wasn't. Victoria lunges for her and the women almost get into a fight. Mr. Hollister gets in betweent the women and stops the fight. Leanna takes off and Mr. Hollister tells her that he knows taht she is mad. He tells Victoria to sit with him and she does. Victoris tells him about the way that Leanna operates. She always bends the truth. He says that he is a friend of her mother but she is getting suspicious of this very sympathetic man.

Christine is ready to leave the office but Michael is still at work. Christine reminds him that this is a four day weekend and he should take advantage of that. Turns out that he has no plans. Christine tries to get him to go out but he isn't all that thrilled. He jokes about the rituals for this holiday. She tells him that this will be fun. He fights and fights her off but then ends up telling her yes. He will come.

Raul shows up at Jabot and tells Kay, John, Amanda and Jill that he has some news about Mac and Billy. He tells everything that he knows and learns the other pieces of information that he didn't know. John is angry and shouts at Amanda. The phone rings and John rushes to it. It is the detective. John tells him the news that Raul has provided. Raul is not sure that the kids are there but it is worth a shot to check there for him. Raul knows of no where else to look. Kay starts shouting at Amanda and then passes out. Jill catches her and faints in her chair. They call 911 to attend to her.

Ralph has his back to Billy and Billy sneaks up on him. Ralph suddenly senses that someone is behind him and he turns to knock Billy over so that he falls backwards on the ground. Someone shouts out. It is Larry. He hurries up and assesses the situation, trying to calm Ralph who has a knife at Mac's throat now. He tells Ralph that he should just drop the knife and take off so that he can get away. Ralph says that he isn't going anywhere. Larrry tells him that he doesn't want to go to prison and face the real inmates that hate people that hurt kids. He tells Ralph that if he doesn't go he will have to face him close up. Larry is willing to let him go to save the kids. He will feed Ralph's heart to the pigeons after he rips it out. Ralph is seriously considering his options now. Mac manages to get away from Ralph and he holds his knife out to Larry. Larry moves in on him and tells him that he had his chance to leave and he blew it. Larry isn't going to let him get away. Ralph! is on the edge of a cliff and They both struggle for the knife. Soon they are in a bearhug and the knife is in between them. Suddenly, they both go falling over the edge of the cliff. Mac screams out for Larry but no one answers. She gingerly looks over the edge.

Paul and Isabella arrive at Gina's for something to eat and Gina cn't get enoiugh of that baby. Mary is at the restaurant and Paul goes over to greet her. Mary is happy to see them all. Gina. Isabella is glad that Mary could joing them. Paul is playing with the baby when Christine walks in with Michael. That takes the smile off his face.
