General Hospital Update Tuesday 2/2/21

Laura tells Olivia that Dante will be alright. She tells her to get some sleep because she deserves it. Cyrus tells Laura that he didn’t mean to overhear. Laura guesses he didn’t. He knows it is such a dangerous world.

Sam says hi to Dante. He wonders why he is here right now. He feels like he was on a truck or something. Sam explains that he was stabbed by a loaded syringe. Dante wonders who did this. Sam admits that it was her mother.

Martin tells Alexis that she is free until her court date. Alexis just wants a drink.

Peter asks Maxie what is wrong. Maxie thinks that she cannot help but think that if it weren’t for his big scoop… She thinks that Alexis might not have tried to go after Franco and accidentally stabbed Dante.

Obrecht asks Franco if he was followed. Franco thinks not. Obrecht cannot be discovered. Franco wonders when the voices were going to be gone. Obrecht thinks that this is not ok. Peter has convinced everyone he is a maniac. He needs to access his Drew memories while there is still time.

Anna thinks that Obrecht has come back to PC. Anna asks Kevin how Dante is doing. Anna knows it is probably a bit too soon. She feels like he is at the center of all of this. Elizabeth tells Anna that her husband is lucky to be alive no thanks to her son.

Laura tells him that they might be related but they are not family. Her daughter is in a coma that she might never recover from. She has no warmth for him. Cyrus asks if he would have kept a reminder of the family that turned their back on him.

Martin tells Alexis that this is extenuating circumstances and he should walk. Jordan asks if this is really the plea she plans to take. She is a hopeless drunk. Alexis wonders why she is so shocked. That is what everyone keeps telling her that she is.

Maxie doesn’t blame Peter. Maxie asks if he has seen the social media reaction. If Franco becomes a danger then yes. Maxie thinks that he should have sat on the story. Peter thinks that he has saved people.

Franco wonders where Scott is. Obrecht says he is in court. Obrecht promises that he is fine and Dante saved his life. Dante is fine too. Obrecht thinks they need to retain the Drew memories. This is taking longer than she thought. Obrecht thinks they could reclaim the Drew memories and figure out why he keeps hearing Peter’s voice. He needs to do this as soon as possible.

Kevin needs to return some calls. Anna knows she is upset but it is not fair to blame Peter for Alexis’ actions. Elizabeth knows it was Peter’s choice to reveal private medical records across the Invader. Anna thinks that Peter is a grown man. Elizabeth explains it is no longer safe for her and Franco to attend Anna and Finn’s wedding. She wonders who the real Peter even is right now.

Sam explains that Alexis was drinking and didn’t want Franco to come after her again. Sam says that this is when things got weird. Alexis snapped and found a loaded syringe and she lunged after Franco but he ran in front of him. Sam thinks that this syringe was loaded with something that could hurt his heart. She is sure that Portia can fill him in on the details. Dante wonders what happened to Franco. Sam says that he is fine. Sam wonders why he would risk his own life to save Franco.

Anna is really sorry about the fallout of the article. Elizabeth explains that Franco is not having the symptoms of before. They are all new. Peter twisted the facts and now Franco is the target.

Obrecht would not recommend going to Kevin but he could actually be useful. Franco guesses that Kevin might be his best hope. Obrecht tells him to be careful. Anna could be working with Kevin. Anna would rather Franco go down than her own son. Franco leaves.

Peter knows. It was a controversial choice but it is his obligation to tell the truth. The Invader is in the position to make money. He is not going to defend him. Maxie thinks that Franco has been a devoted step-dad. Peter is sure that he is for now.

Laura asks what this is. Cyrus says it is a photo from his childhood. Cyrus wonders if she is willing to look at this and see her sworn enemy in a different light. Laura sees Gordon and Florence. Cyrus says that this is his family and Martin’s and her own. They are all related. Laura puts the photo down.

Martin tells Jordan that Alexis is not guilty. Jordan wanted to speak with her as a friend. Alexis wonders if she warned Molly and TJ. She assumes they want nothing to do with her. Jordan says that they are worried. They all are. Alexis is sober and she doesn’t like it. She doesn’t even recognize herself. She realizes that she has used up all the get out of jail cards so she decides that she needs to face what she has done and change the plead to guilty and face the consequences.

Dante thinks if he knew why he did this then he would tell her. Dante doesn’t think he has any cop instincts left. He thanks her for checking up on him though. Anna walks in and is glad that he is awake. She wonders why he would help Franco. Anna wonders why. Anna asks if there is something that he wants to tell them. Dante thinks that he runs into something where a normal person would run from. Anna is glad that he is ok. Anna is sorry. Dante wonders for what. Anna means the reason why Alexis got so crazy. Anna says that it is about an article that Peter ran on Franco. Anna will catch up with him later. Anna walks out. Sam guesses that leaves one person to blame.

Alexis knows that it is 70-30 but it could change. Jordan just wants her to stop self-destructing. Jordan needs to see someone in the squad room. She will let them use her office for as long as they need. Alexis wonders why Martin is acting like he knows her. Alexis tells him to throw her back in jail where she belongs. Martin thinks that she is drowning in self-pity right now. Martin is proud to be a lawyer. He will do his best to defend her whether she likes it or not.

Cyrus could make her a copy. Laura thinks that this is incredibly transparent. Laura thinks that he knows how important family is to her. He wants her to get his mother home. Cyrus knows she thinks she has no reason to bring his mother home but he is not responsible for Lulu being gone. Cyrus reminds her that is her father. Laura thinks that there is nothing that she needs from this. Cyrus tells her to have another look at the picture. This is their family before everything went wrong.

Peter knows that they are so close to the wedding and bringing their daughter into this world. He wonders if she thinks about how they have gone through so much together. Maxie does and in a moment everything has changed. Maxie thinks that not long after all of this Nathan died.

Elizabeth tells Kevin that she is sorry about earlier. Franco walks over. He is glad that he is here. He wanted to have a session with him. He keeps hearing Peter’s voice in his head and he is talking with Drew he has a lot to say. Anna walks over. She is sorry. She hears that he is having voices in his head. Anna asks if they are Peter’s. Anna wonders how he is sure. Franco explains that he knows who Peter is. He thinks they are part of Drew’s implanted memories.

Maxie explains that Peter refused to let her give up. He was a pain in the ass. Peter knows that Nathan was a genuine hero and someone that she could look up to. He hopes that he doesn’t let her down.

Martin asks where Laura found that. Laura says that Cyrus gave it to her. Martin thinks that is pure manipulation. Laura told him that was being ridiculously transparent. Martin wonders if it worked.

Cyrus tells Jordan they need to talk. Jordan has nothing she can do about the search of his mother.

Dante tells Sam that he is not happy that Alexis plunged a syringe into his chest but they both know what it is like to want to kill Franco. Sam knows but it was not either of them who tried to do this. Sam thinks about this a lot. Dante thinks that she wants to recover what Alexis did. Dante thinks that she has helped. Sam wishes she could help Alexis in the same way. Alexis is outside the room and demands to go in. Sam asks Alexis why she is here. Alexis just wanted to see that they were both ok. She wanted to tell Dante how sorry she is for everything she did. Dante tells Alexis that he was a cop for a long time. He knows that decent people do stupid things that they wish they could take back. Dante thinks that he is not the one that she has to make it up to. Alexis doesn’t think that he has to do that. Dante wants them to fix this before it is too late.

Obrecht wears a wig and sees Dante’s room number.

Anna asks if Dante left by the time he had gotten there. Anna wonders about Obrecht. She was also a patient of Kirk’s. She asks if he knew that. Franco has no idea. Franco wants to have a session with Kevin. Elizabeth wants a moment alone. Elizabeth knows he has seen Obrecht alive and well. Franco admits he has. Elizabeth asks how he couldn’t have told her.

Maxie thinks that she doesn’t want Dante to see her like this. Maxie goes off to check on him. Peter gets out his phone. He says they have something he needs and he needs it now.

Laura didn’t need to see her father with this happy little family. Martin points out she is apart of this family. Laura explains that to her family is much more than flesh and blood. It is more than DNA. It is not something she shares with Cyrus. Martin thinks that if there is a slightest chance she is doing anything he needs to know if she is trying to get his mother back.

Cyrus knows he abused her in the past. He knows she wants something about as much as he wants.

Alexis thinks that there is nothing she can really say to Sam at this point. She tells her that she will go. Sam thanks Dante for trying. Dante tells her not to give up. Sam runs after Alexis. She asks if she is going down. Alexis thinks that it seems that way. Sam thinks it is her call.

Obrecht walks into Dante’s room. Obrecht wants to congratulate him but the mission is not yet completed. There is still more to do before the mission is complete. Dante thinks that there is no evidence that Peter framed her. Obrecht thinks that he needs to keep on looking. Obrecht suspects that Anna knows she is out of prison. Dante wonders what more they can do. Dante says complete the mission. Obrecht tells Dante that Peter and Maxie must never be able to say I do.

Maxie asks where Dante’s room is.

Peter is shown rings that he selected. Peter thinks they say till death do them part.

Maxie walks into Dante’s room. Maxie doesn’t want to wake him. She just wanted him to know how much Lulu needs him. She hopes that they are back to being friends again. She needs him back. She kisses him on the forehead.

Laura thinks that Cyrus’ attempts backfired. She thinks that Martin is an innocent bystander. Florence is his mother too and neither of them deserve to be caught in this mess. Laura cannot make promises but she will do what she can to bring his mother back to him.

Alexis and Sam show up at a meeting but no one is there. Alexis remembers this feeling. She remembers not wanting to be here and wanting to drink. Alexis is not sure she can do this. Sam asks how many people she has to hurt before this is an issue.

Cyrus tells Jordan that if Jason knows he can return his mother then he will let Marcus roam free.

Franco tells Obrecht has nothing to do with any of this. There was proof. Obrecht has been helpful to him. Elizabeth thinks they need to treat the tumor and save his life.

Anna thinks that there is a common denominator here. Anna knows that Obrecht is free and Dante is suffering from PTSD and Franco is hearing Peter’s voice in his head. Anna guesses they have to keep looking. Kevin wonders if she means no matter where it leads. Anna says yes to that.
